High Ponytail Ft. Betterlength Clip-Ins!!//Chae Butta

Hello, everyone and welcome back to my channel. My name is shayla. You can call me shae and today, i'm going to be showing you all how i make this super cute super easy, high ponytail, using these better length clippings with my natural hair, all right. So i'm starting off by reverting the clippings back to a more curly state because they were in a blowout state from when i did my blowout video with clip-ins. If you haven't seen that make sure you go ahead and watch that i'll put in the description box and basically what i'm doing is putting them in some chunky twists right now, just to give them some texture, you could also do it in a braid out or A wash and go, or just even a blowout state, however, you want to do it. I thought a twist out would be cute. So that's what i decided to do so i'm going through, and i twisted all of the clip ins that i had, and this is what they look like so now, i'm starting on the slicking process of my natural hair. Right now. My hair is in an interesting state because this is right after i filmed the top knot, bun video, but i went through and detangled my hair, so my hair is pretty damp, but it also has a lot of gel in it. So i'm not going to be re-slicking it like i usually would because that would just be way too much product. If you want to see how i stick my hair, like i usually would, then you want to check out my top knot, bun video, which i will put in the description box as well. But basically, all i did was add some edge booster, because that's kind of all i needed and brushed it out a little bit now, i'm taking a headband, that's been cut open on one side and i'm basically using it kind of like a drawstring to tighten my Ponytail to where i want my ponytail to sit on my head and now, i'm just making sure it's tight by tying it around the back and around the front, and now i'm just going in and reinforcing my edges with a with a brush. And now this is the part where i may have went wrong just a little bit, but i basically was going through the ponytail and detangling it a little bit and twisting it into sections, because i wanted to make it into a bun um since i'm using clip-ins. I'M going to be pretty much hiding all of my hair, so i needed my own hair to be sitting as flat and small as possible. But, as you all probably know, i have a lot of hair and it's pretty thick. So it was hard for me to it was hard to hide using this method, so maybe, if i would have done braids or something else, i don't know that would have been better but yeah. This made it hard to hide. So i'm basically laying down my edges with a scarf now and letting them set, and now that they're set i'm going to go ahead and start putting in the extensions. So i'm taking my first extension and i just kind of separated it a little bit and now i'm going to add it on top of my bun and as you guys can see, as i said earlier, my bun is pretty big. This is like the smallest. I could get it with the method i used so yeah. However, whatever you can do to your hair to make the bun as small as possible. I would say to do that because this made a little bit hard, but basically all i had to do was wrap. The clip in around the bun and then kind of flip it over the back, so it would kind of conceal the bun, and then i had to separate the hair a little bit, so it would fall in a way that didn't expose the bun so yeah. It was kind of a it was a little bit difficult. I had to play with it quite a bit to make sure that it was sitting right, so i wasn't getting exposed um. I wasn't really leaving the house for this video, so i wasn't worried about you know the wind blowing and exposing me. But if you were to leave the house i would suggest to pin down the first clip-ins like maybe pin the actual hair down to the bun. A little bit just to make sure you don't get you don't get caught up out here, but yeah. This is pretty much what i wanted my ponytail to look like, so i went ahead and added a scrunchie to conceal the um, the track around my bun, and this is pretty much what the finished look is. You could also just wrap the hair itself around the one, but i wanted to use a scrunchie just to go with my little my little tan look but yeah. I think it came out pretty cute. It could have been better, but i still think this was a really great look. I really hope you enjoyed this video. Thank you guys, so so so much for watching and hopefully i'll see you in my next video
