How To: Ponytail With Clip-In Extensions! | Irresistible Me

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today I'm going to doing a hair tutorial for you guys today, which I have not done one of these in quite a while on my channel and today this one is going to be focused on how to wear your Hair up in a ponytail using clip in extensions and the clipping extension that I'm going to be using today are ones that I want to introduce to you guys, and it is these ones right here. These are by irresistible mean these are like a black to burgundy. Ombre clip in hair extensions, as you can see, they are absolutely beautiful if you guys watched my Wonder, Woman Halloween makeup tutorial. I did use these in that video, but I wanted to do a little bit more in-depth video, because I wanted to surprise you guys because they are going to be having really good a Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. You guys know what the holidays coming up Christmas shopping is upon us it's time to get ready for the season. So if you have someone in your life or you specifically - and you want to get you or someone close to you, a really good pair of hair extensions ears, this will mean hands down, is one of the best ones that I have personally tried. I'Ve been wearing clippings and trying different kinds of extensions for about 10 years now. So I think I have a pretty good say on what's good and what's not and irresistible me has never let me down. I'Ve never been disappointed with any of their products or, if you're, someone who isn't into wearing clip-in hair extensions or hair extensions at all, they do have a really good variety of hair tools on there as well. You guys have seen me use quite a few of those on my channel as well, so these ones right here are by irresistible me. These were custom dyed for me. I was able to pick my top and my bottom color and here's how they turn out. So, as you can see, I chose the top color to be black, because my hair is obviously black, I'm very much someone who is attached to my black hair. I love my black hair. I won't cheat. I won't be changing my hair color for a very very long time and in order to have like fun with my hair, the only way I can really do that is. If I wear extensions - and I love this burgundy color - it would be a really nice color, but I just refuse to down my hair. So what better way to do that than with just clipping fake here, which I am a big fan? Oh, so these extensions right here are in fact clip-ins 18 inches long and you get several different web. So you get this first, really big, weft right here. As you can see, it is maybe about 30 percent of the jet black color and the rest of it. Is this really nice red, burgundy mermaid, shade, which I really like? I don't have extensions like this at all. I have blonde ombre ones. I have ones that I've custom dyed myself, but I don't have anything burgundy and I love the red and black look. I just think it looks really really nice together. So leave your very first wet that you get is super super thick, so it makes it look really really natural to the rest of your hair, and it also adds a lot of length and a lot of volume to your hair as well. So this one is the biggest poor piece web that you put in your hair and you also get a bunch of three-piece wipes which just looked like this. As you can see, the clips on these are very small, very, very tight, and they will stick really well in your hair. I'M not someone who has very thick hair. I have more on the thin hair side, so the fact that these clips stick and stay in my hair all day. It works perfectly for me and you also get some two-piece wefts and you also get some singles as well. Let me go ahead and find one. So I can show you there we go. So here is what the single left looks like you can curl these you can wash them. You can style them. You can treat them just like you or your real hair. The only thing is it's not attached to your actual sculpt, so that's the only difference, but other than that you can treat these just like real hair. Now I'm going to be showing you how to put your hair up in a ponytail with clipping extensions, because a lot of people think that when you wear clipping extensions, you have to wear your hair down most of the time, which is not actually true. You can definitely wear your hair up with extension and I'm going to be showing you how to do that. Now it's going to be a little bit interesting because I haven't done this in a but I wanted to do a video on it, for you guys, and I also have an undercut as well. So it's going to be interesting to see how this is going to work, but really all you need for this is just a hair clip and a hair tie to put your hair up. Obviously so, typically, when you have clip and extensions when you put them in your hair, you put them clips down like this and clip them into your hair. Now, when you want to put your hair up in an actual ponytail, you kind of do the same thing but backwards, so we're going to be putting all the clippings in upside down, which is kind of be a little bit difficult. So this may take me a while, but this is just a really nice effective way if you're looking to get a really big voluminous ponytail. So my hair was just recently cut. I just recently had a trim, so the ends of my hair are quite blunt now. So if you want to have them blend easier, you could curl your hair with the extension, so it kind of looks all nice and blended together and that's another really cool thing about these extensions. Is that every time I wear them, people have no idea that they're clip-ins, because they look so natural and they look just like real hair. So that is a really big perk, so the first one that we're going to do is this big weft right here? We now we're clipping extensions, the bigger the left, the better, because I do like big voluminous hair. So the first thing that I'm going to do is separate my hair in the back like this, and you want to leave enough hair in the back to go over the clip ends that way everything is nice and discreet, and everything is nice and hidden. So I'm just going to take the rest of the hair that we're not going to use right away and just kind of clip it up like this and then here's what the back of my head looks like and we're going to be clipping them in upside down. On it like so, hopefully, you guys can see that okay, so in order to do that, take your extension like this, take it in the back of your head at now, instead of having it the other way, you're going to have it this way and you're going To start clipping it up like that and you're just going to start clipping the hair backwards, so you're going to find a good amount of hair. Once you do just secure the clip and, like I said, these clips are very secure and very tight, so they will not go anywhere once you have them in your head until you unclip them. Obviously so so we have. There is what the one left looks like all clipped in upside down and then you're, basically just gon na. Let the other hair kind of fall like that, and this is gon na look a little bit funny. Obviously, because we're going to be putting our hair up. So it is gon na look funny if you leave your hair down and I'm just gon na take another section like this again leaving enough hair in between each left and take all the other XS and clip it up, because we will not be needing it and The next one that I'm going to take is a three clip left and you're gon na do the exact same thing so you're gon na take it flip it like this. So the clips are facing outward and you're going to clip them upside down like so, and then I'm going to turn back around now. These extensions are super thick, so you don't need a whole lot of wefts to achieve this. Look unless you want like boom pony arms and and then I'm going to move to the front of my hair like this and I'm going to start putting some in the front of my hair. Now doing the sides of your head or the front of your head is going to be a little bit more difficult because you have to able them so that when you put your hair up in a ponytail, they're gon na kind of like flow better. When you have your hair up so for this, I'm going to take a two piece or a two click left for the sides of my head and when I put my hair up so you're gon na kind of follow the clips with. However, you put your hair up if that makes sense, so I'm just going to put one here and find another really good spot and clip it right there and doing the same thing. So since when are you putting her hair clip now, once you want to put your hair back, you can kind of start sweeping up the hair, so you can kind of positioning your hair. The way you put it back in a ponytail like that and then just take the other west from the back and kind of all, bring it up together like that and then, if you did space they head out enough, you shouldn't be able to see any of The clips, when you put your hair ups, okay and then once you do that and you have everything pretty much hidden to your liking. You can just go ahead and take your hair tie and really tightly kind of bring up the rest of your hair up into the ponytail like so, and then just really kind of tighten everything down like that. And since the clips are upside down, when we applied them, they will stay in place and it won't feel awkward or uncomfortable because we clipped them so that when our hair is up they're laying flat against our head rather than if you were to put them in The regular way they would kind of like stick out and be all awkward and then from the back here is what everything looks like. So then, when you have your hair up in the ponytail, here's what it looks like from the side and there you go. That is how you put your hair up in a ponytail using clip-in extensions, so in total, when you do order these extensions, you get ten wefts. I can't remember the exact grams. I think it's maybe around 100 or 150 grams of hair, which for me, that is more than enough, but if obviously, if you're somebody who has like super super thick hair, you may need to get maybe a second pack or whatever works best for your hair.
