Hey guys so today, I'm gon na show you how to do this really cute hair piece. It'S a clip-on ponytail and it's super easy and inexpensive and yeah. So I just got this like it's not ribbon, but it's like a cloth strip and it's gon na be like the tie, and then I have red thread and needle it's a quite a large needle. You can use like a wig sewing needle. You can get them at Sally's, but I just have a regular needle and thread because it doesn't make a difference to me and then I have just a extension clip they're fairly inexpensive or you can just steal one off of your old extensions. And then I have this mesh headband thing: I got it off of ebay, it was a couple bucks and that's like the main component that you need and the most pain in the butt thing to get. And then I just have some old extensions that I'm getting use and then some material scissors. I guess you could call them so. I'M just gon na cut a square out of my extension, mic centered my mesh and then make it into like a u-shape, and this is gon na, be the base for your hairpiece and it's gon na be everything that you sew your extensions to and then I'm Just going to take that material and wrap it around the round edge, not the flat edge, not that not that spot, but that spot all around and I'm just gon na sew it on, and this is gon na be just like um like a lining for it. So I'm just gon na sell that on really quick all around, and this is all if you know how to sell this is gon na. Be super easy for you. I just had a really hard time finding a clip-on ponytail that would match my hair personally. So I thought I would make one myself and it's super easy. I'Ve made quite a few I've made about three of these and they're just really great and cute hair pieces to wear, especially when you have like really dirty hair and don't know what to do with it. It'S perfect, so I just sewed it all around and now I'm going to sew the extensions on and I just lay them flat to the mesh so them across and then just I don't know what the word just stack them kind of like a wig and yeah. So I'll show you at the end what it looks like, but it's super easy just sell them all on. You don't want too many because then it'll be too heavy, but you don't want not enough that it won't that it won't cover the tracks. So I just did what I thought would be good, that's what it looks like when it's all done all sewed on then I'm gon na take these two little end pieces and sew them to the sides, and this is gon na kind of disguise. The hairpiece cuz that here is going to kind of lay to the sides of your head, the sides of the ponytail and it's gon na disguise the everything pretty much so are just a two little two clip pieces and did those on each side. You could just do one big weft all around the edge, but I didn't have enough extension. So I just used the two two clips on each side: cuz not willing to disguise the underneath because it's gon na disguise it for me. So I'm just sewing those on. I'M sorry I'm kind of out of the screen. I can't really see what I'm doing. I'Ve never really filmed a video at this angle before so. I'M trying my best guys. So you can see what I'm done like it blends really nicely. So that's all done now. Now I'm going to sew on my ribbon type of deal on the top. I'M just going to do that really quick off-camera. So you can see I sewed it on and now I'm going to sew on my little clip and you can do one big clip. You can do two little clips. You can do whatever you want. I just find that the one big clip is a lot better and yeah you're, just gon na secure that to your top of your ponytail and then tie the ribbons together. I didn't show in the video me wearing it, but you can get the idea. It'S a beautiful ponytail! So yeah you just clip it onto your head and then tie it as you can see, I tied it there and it makes a cute really cute ponytail. So I hope you guys enjoyed the video and I'll see you guys soon. Bye, love! You

Maya Henry: Love this DIY! So doable and it looks great! So cute! :)

Little Blonde Vegan: This is such a cute idea! I always wanted to wear a ponytail with my extension in but it never looked good. This is way easier :)

Karla Littke: This is exactly what I've been trying to do, but I wish you were more on screen with it! And would slow down for the parts that aren't repetitive....=(
