Hey guys welcome to my channel it's your favorite gym african queen and today we are getting into a frontal braided ponytail tutorial that took me all day to film. So if that's something you're interested in then keep watching. So my hair is really really thick, like i'm full blood gym african okay. So, while i'm talking to you guys, i'm gon na use this on jackie, not my problem on jackie um products have really changed my ability to do my hair. I'Ve never been able to find a product that just supports my hair um and this this product, or these products have really just changed the game for my hair. So i'm just gon na go ahead and, and as you can see like it, just like my hair is really dry like okay, so this is one side trying to get into a ponytail but like that, just slid that product just slid right into my hair. Like i know, my edges are a little bit. It just slid right into my hair, so that's part of the reason why i love it. So what i'm gon na do i'm just going to put my hair in a ponytail, so i can start getting ready to do the frontal. So i've never done this before i haven't done it this way. The way i'm about to show you guys, so this is kind of just like a tutorial as i go so what i was thinking. I just came up with this idea like i'm driving. I was like. Oh, what if i just do this, so i'm thinking that maybe if i section my hair, because my hair is so thick, i'm going to section it into three different sections and i'm going to braid it into three different braids. So i'm going to do that. Real quick, i'm just going to take a cap, i'm going to go ahead and place that on while i'm waiting so now, i'm just going to take glue and i'm going to put around the edges just to protect and hold the cap still. So i saw this method on arrogant, tay's master class, and it just makes sense like i don't like getting all of that got to be glue everywhere. This really just holds it in place. Um. The glue that i used is the erica j hold me down. The erica j hold me down lace glue, it's my favorite glue and i did a video on my most favorite lace, glues and i'll - just link it here. So you guys can watch it. Um it'll explain why the erica j lace glue is the best, but honestly, once you do this or get this you're not gon na go back. I promise i want to put more over here just so. I can make sure that that's going to stay right there and since this glue doesn't take a very long time to dry, it's just okay to add more okay. So now i'm just going to take. I do not know where i got this. Actually, my sister gave it to me. It was like leftover foundation, but this foundation matches perfectly with my skin tone, so i'm just going to take it and i'm going to use it as a base to blend my scalp or my actual skin into the frontal to make it look like scalp, like sometimes I'Ll apply my frontal and then there won't. There won't be enough, like foundation coverage in order to actually make it blend and look more scalpish. So i just put it all over no harm, no foul alright. So now i'm just going to snip all the excess off. First thing i'm going to do: is i'm going to check and make sure the frontal is plucked to the way that i want it to be plucked, and then i'm going to go ahead and start applying the the braid. So i'm only checking one side or how one side looks just because i'm going to go ahead and do a side part okay, so i i feel, like the frontal, is ready, so i'm gon na go ahead and start applying the glue while i'm applying the um, While i'm applying the glue, i'm going to go ahead and start the braid, i'm going to use the frontal to create the wrap around, so i'm not even going to glue the front on just yet. Hopefully it works the way. I think it's gon na work all right, so the frontal is dry before the frontal actually dried before i could actually get to the braid. So what i'm going to do, i'm going to go ahead and apply the frontal just so i can lay that down and then i'll focus on the grade. Okay, all right! Now, i'm just going to wrap my hair. So at this part of the video i just wrapped my hair, so i could leave to go, get my dog and then i came back and i finished the style. Okay. So just right there. My frontal had told me no that i wasn't going to do what i need to do so i had to re-glue and i had to do a lot all right. Now i'm going to go ahead and do my swoop and i'm going to just use a hot comb. No, my hot comb wasn't on. I was wasting all that time. I was like all right so now, i'm just going to start using my wax stick and i'm going to go in sections. Oh, it looks like this. Cap is kind of making making it harder to be invisible. So i'm going to go ahead and snip. Some of that cap and what i'm using here is just a wax it a wax. Stick. I have another one, but this one is the um. Oh it's a little dirty. It'S got my hair all over it. This one is the cantu. This is the cantu wax. Stick, i have no idea what happened to my other one. I wish i did, though i wish i had that one and i'm just going to use spray, and now i'm just going to add like a little a little baby hair right here, because i feel like that would be cute. And lastly, i'm going to try and open up this part right here, i feel like it could use some guidance and then i'm gon na go ahead and tie her down just for a little bit. While i get ready to go pick up my dog okay, so in this part i actually had to redo the whole braid. Just because i didn't like how thin it was at the bottom, just fyi, i'm about to switch you'll, see the frontal already on. But this is really how i ended the braid go ahead and use a scrunchie, especially a gray one, just because it's it'll be neutral, the the hair that i snipped. It'S just not staying the way i want it to so. I'M gon na go ahead and slide this that way it hides it. Okay, all right. Let me go do some makeup, because this is making me feel weird. I don't know. Hopefully, when i apply makeup, i like it better but right now, i'm just it's just just okay. So this is the final look. Thank you guys so much for watching. I appreciate the view and i'll see you in my next video bye.
