What'S up YouTube, what's up sbm gang, I'm back with another YouTube review, and it's really no shade shout out to Unique hair for sending me a bus down now. Y'All already know when you need to come, they sending me a bus down quality with sick extra, full they're coming through with the gifts. Okay, they came with all the gifts for Kelly. They may have felt like a special special car. It is no same shout out to everybody who watched the first episode of my no shape podcast if you haven't watched that go check that out no shade. But let's get back to this video, so this wig they sent me a very, very full high-endensity kinky straight pre-colored wig. This wig was a bust down all the information for it will be in the description below shout out to Kelly Hicks for rocking this look. She was nervous at first but child. She already know she don't have no choice when she sit in my chair she gon na put on whatever I tell her and it's no shade. This lace was so thin. It wasn't HD, but it was a thin transparent. That'S the difference between bad, transparent and good, transparent, thick, transparent and thin transparent, and you need some nose device. They know what a thin transparent is. Y'All already know I'm going in with my skin protectant before I start this install people always ask me: what's better to use adhesive or tape there, isn't it isn't a thing of one or the other? I have never done a install with just tape only now, if it's a situation where it's like a bang, wig or a mushroom cut wig, something where lace doesn't necessarily show you can do an install with tape only, but if you're trying to get scalp, then you Have to use adhesive tape is just the add-on. So for me I use tape as an extra barrier to keep the wig on the nude cap, but it's not a matter of tape or glue for me. It'S both or just glue. Remember, ladies. The goal is to spread the glue as thin and even as possible. If you have too much glue to any one area, it will not dry clear or it will not dry clear in a timely manner, so be smart about the situation. Dab dab, dab, spread, Spread, spread, don't go and then period foreign, your lace, you want to make sure your glue is all dry and all clear. If you're, laying your lace - and you still see whiteness, it can go one of two ways you may could get away with it, because I've seen people do it like that and they still come up with an in cute result or it could just be a mess. So the best thing to do is just do it right from the jump now I'm just going in with my comb, I'm melting that lace in I'm cooking it in. I press that lesson with my hands as well, and now I'm going in blow drying it because you want to make sure that glue is really dry before you tie it down, because if you dry it down and the glue is still too wet now your band Is smudging now lint from your band is getting into the glue you don't want to make the glue too dry before you even apply the lace you want to apply it and then make sure it's dry to tie it down. Thank you. I like this wig because it's so realistic to an African-American with a good perm. It'S so reminiscent of that, like that's just what this wig gives, but in that this wig took forever to press out my. It probably took me an hour just to press out this whole wig like yeah, so this is a full wig. It was longer so it took a little time to get it really really straight, but I did my big one. I love this hair get into this scalp. As you see how, when I pulled off that band, I didn't have to struggle or nothing was stuck to the lace or to the band. It'S because I blow dried before I tied it down. That'S the key to success. Write that in your notes and don't say, I didn't tell you anything, I let it say us Tick, Tock stylist be gatekeeping. No, I'm literally giving out a tea on this channel and it's going to say, I've been using my Razor razors to cut lace off because I haven't got any new eyebrow razors and I don't recommend you use these they're so dangerous. If you can tell, I have a Band-Aid on my finger because I cut my finger using these sharp blade raises, so I do not recommend them, but that's all I have I I just don't happen to have a whole box of them and I have no more Eyebrow raises so that's what I've been using shout out to my boho lace tint. I love to use this. I used it before and, as you can see, there's a little bit of ashy tint, a ashy Halo on the lake, some of y'all like to leave it there and just spread the lace down and tie it. No actually melt like lace, is something that you're supposed to melt and color match, so it takes a few tries, especially with boho lace tint, because it's not as pigmented which I prefer so that way, if I need to add layers to make it a little darker, I can do that, whereas, if it just out the gate, be too dark, that's why I like water-based lace, tints, because you can literally play with it and really get that specific shade that you need for your specific client period. Now I'm going in and I'm adding this ponytail because y'all know I don't like no thin ponytail with a half up half down. Look I'm going for a 90s Vibe, and this is my first time trying it so pray for me. I didn't glue the tracks. I just sewed it around and wrapped it foreign so for the actual hairstyle. I I think they're called Nubian knots. I just Googled it and I think they're called Nubian knots. So what I personally do, I just grabbed a few strands of hair and I just kept twisting twisting twisting until they folded up. Then I would pin once I got like a cute knot. I would pin it and then I would twist some more of the rest, because you know this was a long wig. So that's what I did. I just twist twist twist, not bobby, pin grab some more hair twist. The Twist knotted bobby pin - and I just tried to create my shape and that's pretty much the gist of how I got these Nubian knots period once those are done, and I got that style I created that shape. Now I'm going and I'm getting these two front pieces to lay how I want them to now with front pieces. When you do whiskers, especially thicker pieces, you do have to do a little manipulation so that the hair can lay exactly where you want it to lay, especially with us doing tick, tocks and choreographies swinging her head flipping her head. We got to make sure that these front pieces stay in place, not stiff hard, but you know a little bit stiff so that way it's not doing too much period, and one thing I do regret now that I'm watching back this video I do wish. I would added layers throughout the hair and even the bang, mostly like trim the bang, because this was a lot of hair. It can get overwhelming and I feel like layering it would have made it look more. I don't know like just humble, but at the same time I love this look regardless, but y'all. Let me know in the comments what y'all think now, I'm just going and adding a few straggly pieces, some flyaways some frizzies, because I really wanted to give that 90s. Aesthetic - and I think I did just that - I'm gon na keep working on trying, like you, know these old school Styles and really giving and taking us back. But you know it's a process, but shout out to me for trying something new and not you know giving up. The old me would have took this ponytail out and gave her me the proper style, but I actually pushed through - and I really forced myself to try to get. This look shout out to me and shout out to Eunice hair for sending me this bus and they always send me good quality, wigs. I always love them and that's no shade shout out to Kelly Hicks. All her info will be in the description box as well. If you want this wig all the links, all the descriptions, the website social medias for you, niece will be in the description by sbm game. Oh and if you didn't watch my podcast yet make sure you go check out that first episode and it's really no shade bye, y'all foreign
