Only 30 inches hey y'all, welcome back to my channel. If you are new, my name is jamala. Thank you for tuning in, as you can tell by today's title, i'm going to be doing a 30 inch, sleek ponytail, i'm doing this on myself. As you can see in the beginning, i didn't know how to act once i got this installed. So if you want to, you, know, boost your confidence, a little bit do a little something different for yourself go ahead and do this style, so i'm just going to start off by parting, my hair, towards the middle of my crown and just sectioning that off. So i can have the back section if you don't know the molding technique. I did this way better in one of my previous videos go and check that out. I did a knot bun tutorial, so i'm pretty much just gon na do the same steps in this video that i did in that previous video. But if you want more detail on that, definitely go check that out. So i'm just going to go ahead and pre-section off my comb broke. It was a lot going on um, don't mind my lips kind of look a little ashy y'all. This was late at night. You know i was doing this right before i was about to go to bed, so i don't know why i decided to do this late at night, but hey i did it so i'm gon na go ahead and you know just straighten some of the pieces that Are around the perimeter just so i can make sure that my ponytail lays super flat and then i'm just going to go ahead and use some got to be glued to go ahead and start molding that section foreign. As always, the key is to work in small sections. You don't want to just spray a whole bunch of got to be glue all over your hair and then just like try to blow dry it work in small sections. You'Ll see that i did not mold the front of my hair as well as i did in my previous video, and that's because i didn't even take my own advice, so you know i'm a little hard-headed and, like i said this was late at night. I was kind of rushing um, so it didn't turn out as well as i would have liked it, but it still turned out cute um. I wore it for a little bit, not that long, but you know i don't wear my hairstyles that long anyways but yeah. So i'm just going to go ahead and finish molding the rest of my hair and y'all can just watch and vibe out with the music, and this is where i knew i effed up. Um things were just falling out of place. Um i was trying to keep it together, but yeah i really wasn't but anyways. I just gon na go ahead and finish it um, not my best work at all, but not too bad. I guess but anyways i'm just gon na go ahead and finish that and then i'm just gon na go ahead and you know use some styling strips just to you know, try to make up for the mess i created didn't really help. But you know i thought i was doing something but anyway, so i did that and then i went ahead and just braided my hair into a little braid sealed that off - and this is the hair that i'm using. This is the same hair that i used in my previous video, this one's 30 inches, it's only 13. I mean, if you're, just going to be wearing a style for like a week, these ponytails don't last that long, anyways um. So if you're not trying to pay a stylist, you might as well just go ahead and get you this beauty supply hair. 13. You can't go wrong with that. All i do is tie off doing my rubber band method at the end and i'm just going to tie that around my braid and begin wrapping securely. Like i said, i don't leave my styles in that long. That'S why i'm not gluing this down, and this always holds for me. It does not slide out. The key is just to make sure that you're wrapping that rubber band around tight first and then continuing to wrap the hair around tight. You can also use bobby pins in between if you want to just add a little bit more security, but me i don't need all that, because i'm probably going to rip this out in two days or like i did. I ripped this right on after i filmed this video like i had it in for a day and then took it out, but yeah. So that's all i'm gon na do then i'm gon na wrap the end of the hair around to create a band. Nothing new. Nothing special if you want a more detailed video on that, you could definitely check out some of my previous videos. I'Ve done several ponytail videos and i go more in detail on that. But yeah this was just like a nice little hairstyle. It was different for me. I don't usually go for like super long ponytails or anything like that, like usually i only like my braids to be really long but, like any other bundle hairstyles i go for like more of like a natural look but yeah. This color was different. I loved little ombre and yeah. It was a vibe, it was cute all right, and this is as good as it's gon na get um. I had to go in and put some bobby pins in, because you know my molding technique. This time is not as flawless as my previous video that was like two videos ago. Go check that out not button tutorial. Molding was flawless this one not as flawless, but it's still cute, the 30 inches is doing its thing. I'M feeling it i'm not one to usually go for. You know more than like 24 inches, but i like it, it's nice um. Will i keep this in longer than recording this video? No, do i keep any of my hairstyles in longer than usually two days. No, so it's nice for now um, but yeah. It'S cute. I like how it turns out, leave a comment below. Let me know what you think. Um leave a comment of a video you would like me to do or like a hairstyle. You want me to attempt and yeah like your girls, video subscribe. If you haven't already - and i will see you in the next one - bye beautiful
