Um and another woman that could take hey my boobs. What is up it is me, it is your girl and i'm back with yet another quick tutorial on how i achieve this genie pony child. Listen, let's get straight into it, so me, and this wig brush child. We have a love, hate relationship, listen the show is going on, okay, so anyways y'all. First things. First, you want to be operating off. Some smooth straighten king free hair. Okay, if you need to flat iron your hair go ahead and try to press the hot comb. Whatever you need to get those kinks out y'all, because there's nothing worse than having a ponytail full of kinks. Okay, we need it to be smooth. Okay, that's first things. First, so i went ahead and started sticking my hair with the olive oil gel by softie. That'S like my favorite um gel brand, but use what works for you, child, okay, whatever product works for you, if you find yourself having trouble getting it as neat and smooth as possible um, you can also do like a rub. Dry ponytail, which means like just go ahead and put it in the desired position that you like it. It don't have to be smooth, put the elastic around it. You know you don't have to be tight and then just go ahead and start smoothing around your edges. To get all those kinks out and then you could go back, take the elastic out, put the ponytail back in and then go from there. You shouldn't have any problems and then so yeah we're going to begin to braid. I will ponytail all the way down to the ends once you get that done. I took the bottom of my braid and i actually made it match up with the base of my ponytail. I used an elastic to go ahead and secure the ends i used gel. Just to get those little fly away pieces because my hair is cut in layers, anyways child. We gon na do that and then we're gon na wrap the pony with the rapid strips just to secure it and be able to mold and shape the pony in the desired position that we want it. And you will see that in a minute and by the way y'all. I chose to use gel in my hair specifically because my natural hair pattern tends to curl and wave up, and i wanted it to mesh well with the texture and the pattern of the actual ponytail that i'm using. But if you want to go ahead and keep your hair straight, i would use edge control. I will use a wax stick around my perimeter or you can even just choose to use some type of holding spray product. That way you have to worry about your hair. Potentially waving or curling up, so i went ahead and started molding my hair down with these wrap strips just so, while i'm in a process of wrapping the wefts around my ponytail, it doesn't mess up the front of my hair on my edges or anything, and we Want to get the hair as dry as possible, even though i used a lot of jail child we gon na make it do we do because it's hard to dry gel within the timely fashion, but listen we're gon na pull through with this style. Okay, after i do um that part, i'm gon na wrap my actual ponytail with the wrap strips because, like i said, we want to go ahead and start forming that ponytail um to get into that desired. Look that we want, and so the wrap strips really do, help with that. I secure the ends with rubber bands so that the paper doesn't come on loose but, most importantly, those strips are actually used as a protective barrier against the glue. That'S going to be on the ponytail so make sure you do this. Please do not skip this still so y'all. So when i'm starting, i do glue the ends of the wefts together, because i am going to be using the double width method um just to make it thicker. If you want to use one pack of hair, that's completely fine. I, like my hair, to be super full and big, so i did use two packs of hair, but, like i said, one pack would definitely be fine. I went ahead and placed my super close together when i was wrapping it. So that was how i managed to get both of them to fit like i said one pack will do the job so go ahead and spend your ten dollar sis, because it's money and i did only glue the bottom of the ponytail. I did like the mid section um. I used some on the ends and when i began the next ponytail so maybe like four times i use the glue and child y'all know the drill it ain't secure. Unless you didn't use your pump, it up, spritz or you'll got to be sprayed, listen, we do not need to be out and about and our tracks is coming out because y'all know we like to play in our ponytails. Okay act, like you, know: okay, secure the tray now to finish it off. Obviously we're going to go ahead and place a bobby pin to get that last little piece intact. I always use some type of oil sheen or my pink gloss spray. I use it for the shine as well as a detangler, because we all know what that synthetic blend hair child is prone to get tangled. So i find that it works really well, so we're going to end up taking a piece from the back of the hair. I'M going to brush mine out um, just to get it straight and smooth, and so we're going to wrap that around the base of our ponytail to start creating height in our ponytail. Now, if you just want your base to be flat child, you don't have to go up on it, but the higher you wrap your hair. The higher your base will be once you're done, wrapping it. You can go ahead and spritz it down really well, go ahead and blow dry to secure it, and you can even use the bobby pin just to make sure like. If you have a little piece. That'S still hanging go ahead and secure that in the ponytail so that it doesn't move here. I was just really trying to get my hair as dry as possible. Like i said it is hard to blow dry gel and get it super dry. So it's fine um. I went ahead and just use edge control on the rest of those little flyaway edges. That came up when i took the paper off, but we don't get it together. Okay, just watch and they're right. There, ladies and gentlemen, is how you go ahead and deliver a genie pony: okay, y'all, please let me know in the comments. What is your feedback? Let me know how you like to turn out of it. Let me know some things that maybe i could improve doing it, but you know i mean i feel like i came through with this, i feel like i came and delivered what needed to be delivered. Okay, honey. You didn't ask for me, but i delivered okay. Let'S, just be honest, are you here for it, i love it. It was super inexpensive and super cheap. Honestly, i feel like, even if you decide to get one pack of hair, it's still going to be full. It'S still going to be luxurious. Y'All, you just have to try it. I think you're going to love it just as much as i did. It was so fun. It was so quick, listen. It gave what needed to be given okay. I was so here for it. So anyways y'all thank y'all for watching. If y'all stayed this long and just join me in the next video, i show you today,
