This is not the best ponytail I have done. I usually do better when my hair is straightened but I didn't want to straighten it just to do a ponytail. It was a little bit difficult but I was able to show you guys the gist of how I do my ponytails lol. Leave all questions down below! Im happy to answer.

What'S going on guys welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is cam aka curls, with cam and today, judging by the title, you guys already know, i'm going to be showing you guys how to achieve this. Um extended ponytail. This is actually 30 inches, really expensive, inexpensive. Sorry, it's really inexpensive. I believe i paid like 11.99 for this and 30 inches, like i said um, so super long and super cheap and i'll show you guys the back and how it's looking. So if you guys are interested in how i achieve this ponytail go ahead and keep watching. Please remember to like comment and if you're new to my channel subscribe and let's get into the video all right, you guys so i'm starting off with um blown out hair. I did apply some of shop coils leave-in as well as um the hair serum just to use as like a heat protectant in my hair. I apply all of this while my hair was damp and then went ahead and blow dried it. So first i started off by um parting and sectioning off my hair. There was actually a smaller section that i took and did before. I did this section, that's actually underneath um. So if you have really really thick hair - and you want a really sleek ponytail, the best thing to do is to start off by putting your hair in sections from bottom to top, depending on how you're going to part it and go ahead and put the gel In your hair - and i also use - got to be glued spray, as well as a hair clip just to make sure that my hair does stay down and stay in place and already start to form the shape of a ponytail. And i went ahead and used a clip just to hold it in place. While i continue to part and section off my hair and apply the gel as well as the got to be glue, now keep in mind, i do go in with a really fine tooth comb, a rat tail comb. Just to make sure that i don't miss any bumps or lumps now y'all, i'm still practicing on my sleep ponytail. So this is not going to be 100 perfect, but this is just a style that you guys can do if you're on the go or if you just need a really cute and quick, simple style. If you're going out for the night or whatever the case may be also, you can brush and smooth down your hair as much as you like until you get it to your liking. Next, i'm going to go ahead and part, my hair, i'm doing the middle part as you guys can see, and i'm going to split the top sections, as you guys can see that i'm doing here and i'm going to sleep that back and then i'm going to Do the next section and, like i said it before this is just to get the ponytail as sleek as i possibly can. I could have straightened my hair. You guys have that option, of course um, but i just didn't want to waste. You know straightening my hair or risk the heat damage after i already put heat on it to blow dry, it so yeah, but this is how my ponytail is looking. So the next step, we're gon na do is the braid down of my ponytail just to throw this out there um. If you guys wanted to use any type of edge control or if you guys prefer to use shine and jam to sleek down your hair and create more shine, that's of course an option. Um. I just decided to use gel because that's what my hair likes a little bit more, even though i could have had more shine, but it's okay. I was working with what i had um so yeah. Maybe if my hair was straightened, i probably would have used the shine and jam, but my hair also tends to curl back up with that, so yeah just throwing that out there, if you guys, want to use gel or edge control, shine and jam whatever the case May be do what you feel is most comfortable for your hair, so once you've braided down your ponytail, what you're going to want to do is go in with the rubber band at the end, just to secure it and make sure that your braid is not going To unravel the next step is going to be to go in with the wrap, as you guys are going to see in just a minute, and i'm actually going to start off by applying just a little bit of hair glue. Um to where my hair is tied. Up so that way, it doesn't slip and it's more secure. You guys can skip this step. You don't have to you are going to see me get a little bit of hair glue in my hair. Don'T panic! If that happens, it actually comes right out with just some conditioner, so any conditioner you have laying around the house or whatever you use, to condition your hair just put that in there and the glue will slip right out. However, when you are working with the glue, please try your best to be careful because it still is a pain getting it in your hair, because it's very noticeable - and you guys will see that later on. So next i am just um securing the wrap. I did wrap it tightly so make sure you wrap it tightly and it feels secure and i secured it at the bottom, with some hair glue, as you guys saw next, i'm going to go in. There are two ways that you can do this. You can either start by applying glue on the track and wrapping around or you can start how i started and just apply the glue to where your hair is wrapped and wrap it around here. I'M just showing you the different ways to do it, but i ended up just doing it the easy way, which is just applying the glue to um, where my ponytail is wrapped and then just wrapping the hair around so you're going to wrap it in an upward Motion so that eventually it will cover up your entire braid and you can see that as i'm doing it here, um, it does get a little complicated, be patient with yourself, because i get a little frustrated. I did get a little bit of glue and because i had those little hairs in the back of my head on my neck, but, like i said you can go on with conditioner and get that out easily and you'll see at the end of the video that It'Ll be gone by the time, i'm finished. What so, now that i'm at the top um of the ponytail, as you guys, can see, i'm just applying a little bit more glue on my last little piece to wrap that around and, as you guys can see, i did get the glue in my hair. I was so irritated, but it's okay, i wrapped it around um. This is a little bit harder when you're doing it yourself. Also, if you get glue on your fingers, don't worry it literally rubs right off like rubber or something like it's super easy to get it off um. So then, once that was secured, i went ahead and took a piece from the bottom of my ponytail. Well, underneath my ponytail, i should say that makes more sense to you guys and um. I use my my fine tail comb, my rat tail comb just to like comb. It out make it a little bit more smooth and then i just wrapped it around. As i wrapped it, i did apply. Some got to be glued just to make sure that it was secure and it didn't come unwrapped um. If you have a blow dryer at home, while you are doing this style, you are more than welcome. It will actually be smart to make sure that you dry the glue when you're doing the ponytail itself, as well as um blow drying. When you apply it got to be glued and you do this step of the hair just to make sure that everything is dry. I was low-key in a hurry, so i didn't have time to grab my blow dryer, but just a disclaimer for you guys. It may be way easier for you, and this is how the ponytail looks. This is the final result. This was a 30 inch um ponytail that i got from the beauty supply store. It was only 11.99 so, like i said, if you need something quick you going out with the girls, whatever the case may be, you need a quick hairstyle to do. This is perfect for you very, very inexpensive, so yeah, you know i'm always put y'all on. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you enjoyed this video, please leave a like a comment.
