Hey guys welcome back to my channel. My name is beige. If you are new here, welcome, don't forget to give this video a thumbs up and comment down below before you leave, so today's video I'll be trying on this new textured drawstring ponytail from sensationalist curls, kinks and company line. So this ponytail is in the style, GameChanger XL and I did get it in a color 1b. The ponytail does have two combs, as well as a drawstring for security. On a package. It definitely says that game-changer XL is recommended for kinky textures 4b through 4 C. But honestly, this has given me more of a for 8 hair texture and I'm assuming that they say 4b through 4 C, because you may be able to brush it out to blend in with your hair. If this is a little bit looser than your hair texture or you can do it twist out to get it to blend in, but just straight out of the package, this is more of a 4a to me. Ok, so let's get started. The first thing that I'm going to do is wash and deep conditioned. My hair, which I did off camera here, is my hair with no product in it. Next, I'm going to grab a leave-in conditioner. I am obsessed with this leave-in conditioner by Camille rose naturals. It is called honey you can get it from Target. I got it from beautycon. This thing, look how it stretches my hair out like I've, never tried a product, that's so heavy! That'S weighing down my curls for it to look like. I have a looser, curl pattern. Like this, like I had this, this product is something that you need to get your hands on. Like I was shocked when I was doing this video. I was like what look at how loose my hair looks in comparison to the other side without any product. At all, so now that I saturated my hair with that leave-in conditioner, I am grabbing a bristle brush as well as my detangling comb. I'M just going to make sure that my middle part is completely straight and then next, I'm just gon na go through my hair. With my detangling comb, as you can see, my hair is much looser and stretched and because it is much looser and stretched it's much easier for me to detangle at this point and then I did finger detangle as I was raking that product through my hair. So I got less breakage less shedding, so I'm just going to go ahead and detangle the hair. Before applying eco styler gel to my hair, then I'm going to use that brush to just brush it into a ponytail. So now I'm just gon na grab some eco styler gel and a brush, and I am gon na map out my baby hairs. I do have an issue when I'm doing baby hairs on my natural hair it likes to curl up. So if I don't put the gel on the hair and then brush it and then put my headscarf on immediately after I find my hair like curling up in the front and it's harder for it to you know, stick to that pattern. So I'm gon na have to hurry up and do this off-camera really quick and then put the headscarf on so that it can set. But before I put on my headscarf, I do want to add a glossary to my hair, just so that I can have a healthy, Sheen and shine to it the following morning. Okay, so here we are the following afternoon and my hair is 100 % dry and it did get a chance to mold into that hairstyle that we did the evening before. So here is my hair: I'm just going to go ahead and apply a polisher to my hair, just so that it can have that healthy, Sheen and shine. Of course, I love when my hair looks wet. I just love that look, so that's what I'm gon na do now. Next, I'm just gon na grab a rubber band and it put my hair into a bun, because the drawstring ponytail is like a mini hat or a mini wig, and you need it to be in a bun first for the mini hat or wig to fit over Your hair, so I'm just gon na, grab the comb at the top, and I am going to place that home at the top at the base of my bun. Next, I'm just going to stretch that mini wig over my bun and I'm going to secure the comb at the bottom of the bun. I'M just gon na grab that drawstring and tightly wrap it all the way around that ponytail to secure it. And then I am going to grab two bobby pins and I'm going to stick the bobby pins into the drawstring, as well as my bun, just to make sure that it is completely secured onto my head. So, if you're interested in knowing how long this ponytail is, when you stretch out the curls, it reaches 30 inches, but when it is in its natural, shrunken state, it is 20 inches.
