Today, i'm going to be doing a middle part, sleek ponytail, using organics mixture, 30 inch body, wave weave, it's an ombre black and red, and i got this from my local beauty supply store for only fifteen dollars. It'S such an affordable price and the hair is super. Thick super full doesn't shed that much. It can get tangled a bit, but i'm easily running the brush through and it's very good with the flat iron as well, but super amazing quality. So the hair that i'm using today originally came as a body wave texture, but i wanted to personally wear the hair straight. So right now, i'm just using my flat iron and my brush and brushing out the body wave out of the hair and straightening it. And this hair was super good with the flat iron and i'm using my flat iron at 320 to 420 degrees um. It was really good and took really well, and i got all the body waves out of the hair. Now i'm gon na move on to actually sleeking down my hair um, i'm going to be doing a middle part ponytail. So i'm just going to be perfecting the part so that it looks straight and then i'm going to basically be doing my hair in sections, because i can't just put a product on and just sleek it down. So what i do is i suction my hair into sections to get each part individually set so that i can add the product and sleek my hair down, so the product i'll be using to sleek down. My hair is going to be the got to be free spray, it's the yellow bottle and i got it from i think walmart they saw it at walmart shoppers drug mart or you can get at your local beauty, supply, store and they're. Not that expensive. I used to use eco styler gel for sleek ponytails, but i found that anytime, i used eco styler for this particular hairstyle. It caked up and made my hair either like that or wavy, and i was looking for more of a sleek look. So what i'm doing right now is sectioning off my hair and i'm going to be using my blow dryer and my got to be free spray to get my hair sleek down, so it can be put back into the ponytail and what i do is i apply. The freeze spray onto my hair - and i just use the blow dry - to dry it down and to keep it into place so that it's not waving up or caking up, i'm just strictly applying the product, which is the free spray and then i'm taking my blow. Dryer and i'm drying the hair with the product on and i'm taking my comb at the moment and just brushing it down into place. So i'm going to be doing this process until i get to the very top of my hair and basically like i said, i'm just going to be applying the freeze, spray, um combing it down into place and drying it with my blow dryer and i'm going to Show you guys what i do when i get to the top of my hair, so now i've kind of gotten to like closer to the top of my hair. So i basically took two sections from where i parted my hair down the middle and just started going from side to side, um parting and putting pieces back. So this is closer to the top of my hair. So i want it to be extra sleek. So i'm doing the same process as i did in the beginning: uh putting the free spray combing it and drying with the blow dryer. But this time, i'm just doing it from side to side, meaning first, i'm starting with the red side of my hair, then moving to the black side of my hair and i'm just sleeking back those parts. Also, as i started to move closer to the top of my hair, i started using my brown flat brush with black bristles. I found that the brush really helped me sleek down my hair and give it a more of a better way to sleek it down. Rather than using the comb towards the front, so i started just using my black brush and using it to sleek down my hair even more as well as using the free spray and as i'm now also at the top, i'm just taking my comb and sectioning off Parts and i'm using the same method, which is the free spray and i'm using a brush to brush down those parts and as well as using my blow dryer to keep it super sleek and dry, the hair into place. And now i'm just braiding back my hair. So that i can soon apply the stocking that i'm gon na use to put the ponytail on so now, i'm just going to be taking down some of my baby hairs and styling them, because i wanted them to be styled in the front of my style and I'M going to be using an edge control for this and my pink edge brush and after i'm done sleeking my edges down, i'm just going to take my head, wrap and wrap my hair so that my edges can lay and that they can be dry. So now i'm going to be moving on to actually installing the actual ponytail. So what i did was i took a regular tan, looking stocking and i got this from my local dollar store. It was really super cheap um. I used to use like the white wrapping papers, but i found that this one was easier. Basically, what i'm doing is i'm taking the 30 inch ponytail, i'm taking my hair glue, applying it to the track and wrapping it around the stocking and i'm taking my blow dryer to dry the hair onto the stocking so that can hold and stay in place. So, instead of using the wrapping papers - which i usually would i just basically cut off a small piece of the stocking, applied it to my braid and basically did the same method, taking the glue gluing the track and wrapping it around. I found that this was better because when i used the wrapping papers they kind of slid off my hair. So i just feel like this method is better. So now i'm going to be sectioning off a piece from my ponytail to use to wrap around to make my ponytail more realistic. So basically what i did. I just sectioned off a piece brushed it out and i used my free spray and eventually i started to use my free hair spritzer, because my got to be started to run out. So i just started to use this spritzer and it actually helped my piece hold better onto my ponytail, so i just started using that and basically i'm going to take my blow dryer and dry it into place and i'm just going to be drying that piece and Making sure that it holds now as the finishing touches i'm just taking my brush and my flat iron and going through the ponytail, making sure that it looks shiny and sleek, and basically this is the finishing look um. I just touched it up by brushing it out flat, ironing it and making it look, how i wanted it to and basically making sure that there wasn't anything else that i needed to fix. So this is the final look of my ponytail using the 30 inch body wave, organic mix, um, ombre, red and black weave. I think it turned out super great and for once my hair actually super sleek. They didn't wave up or cake up as it did before, and it really turned out - and i was super happy with the ending results. Thank you so much for watching my video and i hope that you enjoyed my tutorial. Take a minute.
