Super Easy 30" Ponytail Install! | Beginner Friendly | Nicki Minaj Inspired

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, Raquel who's. Ahmir today is actually my birthday, so I am turning 29 today and I'm gon na show you guys exactly how I achieve this 30 inch ponytail. Okay, it's super easy, lovely and glamorous honey. So go ahead and subscribe to my channel and let's get into it so first, I'm just gon na use my regular paddle brush just to brush all of my hair up into the position. I want I'm gon na add my eco styler gel to my edges. All around to ensure that it is nice and smooth once I place it in a ponytail now, I'm just gon na take my black elastic hair tie. I actually used two of them in this video. I know I only showed you one up close, but I did use two of them and y'all. Let me just say that I'm super happy to just be wearing a ponytail, because my edges shed a lot just from like postpartum shedding. So I'm just getting back like able to wear a ponytail. So, as you can see here, I have twisted my hair into two and just wrapped it around added another black elastic band. I'M gon na use my gut to be glued free spray, just to slick down like the extra flyaways and get by edge control as well just to do some baby hair y'all. This was so funny. I thought there was like a piece of hair on my forehead, but it was in fact a wrinkle, so hello, almost 30, so I'm just taking my baby hair brush here and slicking down my edges added a little bit more free spray. Now I have my satin scarf on ready to rock, so the hair that I'm gon na be using today for my ponytail, it's by a brand called organic, and this is the pony pro in the natural yaki texture. It is actually 32 inches long and it does say that it's safe to use a curling iron up to 400 degrees. But I didn't need to do that because I just I wanted the texture exactly how it was and I didn't want any curls. So maybe I'll do that at a later time. So, as you can see here, the ponytail has a little comb, so I went ahead and stuck that at the base of my own ponytail and just started wrapping it around. I did add a few bobby pins in there for extra security and on the end of the ponytail, there's a band with some hair attached for you to wrap around so that you can hide that base y'all. This is my son. He was crying and I had his head. The pick me for a couple seconds. His name is Josiah. He'S 6 months, he's so sweet, so I'm just blow-drying just to make sure all of the product is dry and now the ponytail. You can see that it is super cute, very smooth, very sleek, honey and I'm ready to take on the day. Okay, it's my birthday. I can do what I want another one of my favorite styles is just a cute top line, so I just easily twisted my hair around added some bobby pins in there for a totally different look, but I mean you know if you get tired of your hair Hanging down, you can just pin it up and it looks just as good.
