Hey you guys and welcome back to my channel today I'll be showing you guys how to achieve this. Look it's a sleek side, ponytail on natural, 4b, hair and right now. What I am doing is. I am sectioning off of my hair in threes, so I am using my fingers to section you: don't necessarily need a comb or it doesn't have to be neat sections, because all you're gon na do is just comb out and sleep the hair down. So I have the top, which I wrapped in the ponytail and I clip down now, I'm going to section off that middle part and I'm gon na do the same thing where I'm just gon na wrap it up in a ponytail just to get it out of The way and now for this back part, I am going to take my wide tooth comb to comb it out. Now I already washed and edition my hair, and then you can still see a little residue of it's actually olive oil. I usually deep condition my hair with conditioner and olive oil, but I like to keep a little olive oil or some type of conditioner just for that moisture and then next I'm going to be using the softy olive oil styling gel, which I bought from my local Beauty supply store for $ 2.99, I'm gon na take about like a quarter size and I'm going to just put it all throughout the hair, and I'm going to lather my hair up with this. Now, if you're not comfortable with using a lot of gel, this is probably not a look for you. But I don't mind the gel and I'm going to use my detangling brush to comb through just to make sure that it's combed out from the roots and then all the way down to the tips and I'm just gon na comb it so that I can get You know it get it very straight and then next I'm going to take my hard brush and I'm just gon na brush all around just gon na brush it all up and I'm gon na take my ponytail and I'm gon na wrap the ponytail around my head. Only two times it doesn't have to be SuperDuper tight because we're gon na have to put the rest of the hair in that ponytail. Next, we're going to take that middle section and I'm going to section it one more time because it is so thick, I'm going to section it one more time and I'm going to clip away the other hair. Then I'm going to take the gel and I'm just going to go around again doing the same thing same process and once I got that gel on I'm gon na take my wide tooth comb. I'M gon na comb it out and then once again that residue you're, seeing is olive oil. From my from me washing my hair. So I don't mind the moisture, because my hair is so dry and I'm going to take my detangler and I'm gon na go through again and then I'm gon na take my hard brush and I'm gon na brush it on down. I'M gon na brush all around and I'm going to take that ponytail and I'm just gon na wrap it around twice, and I already did that second section. I just did it off camera because I didn't want this video to be too long, pretty much the same process, how I did the first three sections and then next I'm going to part off my hair into the side part. Now this is my right side. It looks like it's the left side, but it's actually my right side. I like right parts, so I'm just going to section off where I want the part to sit and then I am going to go ahead and use some more of that. Softy olive oil gel and I'm going to ladder that all up on the side I'm gon na take my heart brush and I'm going to brush it. Then I am going to take the right side. It'S your left for my right. I'M going to take that side and I'm going to lather it with the gel and then I'm actually going to gel it in sections just to make sure that I'm getting the hair as sleek as possible. Now, with 4b hair it will be wavy, but you know I still wanted to get it as sleek as possible and then once I put the gel on each section, I am going to take my wide tooth comb and I'm going to comb it out. Then I'm going to take my paddle brush to lay it down and I actually switched out my brush because this brush is harder. So I am going to take my red brush and I'm going to just sleek it down and just kind of swoop it around into that ponytail and I want to brush brush brush until it's super flat and I'm able to pull it back into that ponytail and I'M going to take down the ponytail and y'all, it's looking like a good minute to take it out, but finally got it out and I'm gon na wrap it around. I want to say at least four to five times just to make sure that is super tight and then once it is wrapped down, I am going to use that edge booster edge Patrol and I'm going to add that to my side, part for my side swoop. Then I'm going to take my heart brush and I'm going to pull down my sideburns brush down my sideburns and I'm going to add the booster edge control on those sideburns to lay them down, and then I am going and then I'm going to take my fine-tooth Comb to work in that edge control and also I want that side. Sleek, look like that baby hair! Look, I guess you can say so. I'M going to kind part out the hair just a little bit and I'm going to swoop each section. So I've gone up through the top and now I'm working on that bottom and I'm just going to keep swooping until it looks late to me and then I'm going to take my edge brush and I'm just going to brush it down just to make sure that It is flat and it is sleek and I'm going to do that for that bottom section as well, then I'm going to take my heart brush and I'm just going to brush everything to the back. Just to make sure I have no flyaways and to make sure everything is down, I'm gon na take my H brush and I'm going to just swoop my little sideburn, I'm just gon na swoop it towards my ear. I'M going to do the same exact thing with the other side, I'm just gon na swoop it to the back towards my ear and then I'm going to take my tropical root foam and I'm going to just pump that all over my hair. Now this part is optional. I'M only doing this because I want that extra security. I don't want any flyaways, and I would like to keep this look for about four days so by adding the mousse. It should keep it firm and keep it like held down for at least three to four days and then once I worked at it with my fingers, I'm going to go back in with my soft brush and I'm going to work that in even more then I Am going to do a two strand twist on the little afro puff that I got going on in the back I'm going to do that other side, I'm just gon na do a two strand twist and you can twist it as tight as you would like. You can also comb it out and twist it if you would like I'm just twisting it and then I'm going to take both twists and I'm going to twist them as tight as possible into a little secured bun and that's what you're seeing me do right now. Then I'm going to add a ponytail and I'm going to wrap that ponytail around about three times just to secure that little bun the next. I am going to use the quick ponytail named Mika, like myself, my name Mika, so I'm gon na be where Anika and I got the color and one. This is a 30 inch ponytail and once again it's called quick ponytail and it does have a front comb and a back home as well as a drawstring. It has a lot of stretch, so I'm going to put that on my little bun and I'm gon na secure those combs the top comb and that bottom cone and once it's secure, I'm going to take that drawstring and I'm going to tighten it so that it's Tight on that bun and I'm going to wrap that drawstring around so that I can hide it and then I'm going to take some hair and I'm going to just wrap it around the ponytail. Just to hide the fact that it is a drawstring ponytail. It gives it like a more of a natural look when you wrap the hair around the ponytail. So that's what I'm doing right now and then once I have everything completely wrapped. I want to take two open bobby pins and I am just going to secure that wrap just to make sure it doesn't move and I'm going to take my detangling brush and I'm going to brush through the hair so that it's more like a loose wave. Not really a tight wave and then this here is my Palmer's cocoa butter formula, moisturizing hairspray, I'm going to take this spray and I'm gon na spray, it all around my hair to give it a moisture look and I'm gon na work it in with the soft Side of my brush, then I am going to take my wrap and I'm going to wrap my hair come down so right now I am just wrapping my hair down and I'm going to leave my wrap on for a couple of minutes. Now this is depends on how long you want to keep your wrap on you don't necessarily have to keep it on for hours. I think I kept my wrap on for a good 30 minutes. So maybe 40 minutes and once I came back, I did change but I'll fit you guys. So you can see the length of the hair, the black shirt you can really see, but I am taking down my wrap and, as you can see, everything is sleek. It is down and it is a bit wavy. Once again I am a 4b, so it is going to be wavy, and that is the hair length. It touches basically my butt. Now it says it's 30 inches. I don't know about 30 inches, it could be 30 inches because it is wavy. I feel, like 30 inches will be a little longer, but I give you guys a 360 on the hair front back side and front, and that is it you guys. This is the look. I hope you guys liked it. Thank you guys for watching bye, peace.
