Hey guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm gon na be showing you how to do a braided extension ponytail okay. So these are some products that you'll need to complete. This look here are the tools and two scrunchies, and this is the hair that I used. Two bundles come in this pack for $ 4.99, but I'm only going to be using one bundle for my braid today, okay, so to begin I'm starting with clean hair, I have deep condition that last night and slept on it. So this is what it looks like. I'M just taking out any knots and I'm just gon na start, creating my low ponytail. This is the parting that I'm gon na, be using, so you'll need a rat tail comb if you want to create a nice clean part - and this is just me sorting through this crazy hair - really sculpting out a nice neat low ponytail. I want to make sure there's no lumps no bumps. I want to be smooth, I'm gon na be using my Eco styling gel. This is a coconut oil gel that you could put on wet or dry hair, I'm using it on my dry hair. Today. It works really nice, it gives a nice moisture and shine, and it's just really gon na help me blend my natural hair with the extension here to really smooth things down. I'M just gon na use a nice bristle brush to just get rid of any lumps again. I just want it to be a nice clean, neat, low ponytail super easy to do at home, guys. I can't stress this enough, so all you're really doing is just creating a nice neat low ponytail, and then you can get into your extensions okay. So I just put this scrunch here on my extensions to make it easier to adapt to my hair also, I feel like this extension really matches my highlight color, so that's why I used it I'll be linking down below what exact brand of hair. This is that I got from my local Beauty Supply so now that I've adapted the hair to my ponytail I can get into braiding. So I want it to be as seamless as possible. I'M gon na section out my hair and distribute it evenly, creating three sections with my hair and the extension hair and just braid as normal. This is gon na. Take you a few times like I'm starting to braid right now, but you're gon na see that I undo this because my short hair starts poking out and again. I know this is gon na, be a little bit hard if you have short hair, because especially if it's thick, it's just gon na keep like poking out. So it might take you a few tries, but I am going back in there and smoothing everything out. I think that if you blow dry your hair, it could be super easy to work with, but I didn't want to use heat in my hair. Instead, I'm just using more of that eco silent gel to just help smooth everything down and slicked down any flyaways that want to come out of my braids and if there are any flyaways, which I can already see that there's one that just so stubborn, I'm just Gon na get it with my rat tail comb at the end and just really shove it back into that braid. So there's a solution for it. You can keep grabbing gel stay neat. This is 30 inch, pre-stretched, Kanekalon hair. I got it from my local Beauty Supply. They have so many colors, so many lengths and I think it really blends nice with all hair textures. Oh and it's super affordable. They are $ 4.99 for and two bundles. So I got two bundles in this pack and that's just one bundle that I'm using for my braids today. I could have used more. It probably would have been easier to conceal my hair, so I'm just braiding all the way to the very end, and I sped things up just for the video sake and now, like I told you, I'm gon na go in and just shove that little stubborn piece Back into the braid, it's easy to do just a neat: try not to mess anything else up, while you're doing that and voila. So now, I'm gon na be using my olive oil edge control. It'S a nice gel that has sweet almond oil to help strengthen your baby hairs as well, and it just provides a really good hold and I'm creating my new part again keeping everything nice. I want to slick those baby hairs down and to finish everything off. I'M gon na be using some braid Sheen spray that really helps to condition and soften my natural hair, as well as the synthetic hair okay. So this is our finished. Look give me a thumbs up if you like this video, I'm definitely gon na, be making more hairstyles using extensions. So leave me a comment down below if you have any ideas that I should try and if you haven't already don't forget to Like and subscribe to my channel, I put out new content every week, thanks for tuning in and I'll see you guys next week, bye
