Is My Hair Ruined!? Reviving Colored & Heat Damaged Natural Hair? (Protein & Moisture Wash Day)

Hey friends, my name is Roger the Wayne. If you're new here welcome to the channel, if you're not new here pretty you already know what we're about to say, come on and say it with me. We are biggity back with another video and y'all in this video. I'M gon na be showing y'all my first wash Day post, realizing that I had color damage and heat damage. Also, I do want to say some disclaimers number one. I do not be using products the way you're supposed to and number two. I am a little under the weather, so I might be sounding a little funny but friend, let's get into it foreign y'all. So let's go ahead and get into this thing. So first I went ahead and got my hair out of the ponytail and listen. My hair was very dry, very crusty um. I didn't pre-poo my hair because y'all listen, I haven't pre-poo in months. I need a lot to y'all. I became a very lazy natural, so I went ahead and wet my hair and so to cleanse my hair. Today I went in with the Josie's curls cleanse hydrating shampoo y'all. This is supposed to be a clean. Shampoo is paraben, free, sulfate, free cruelty, free dye, free, and it's supposed to be a vegan formula. Also, some of the highlights of this product is: it is an oil with lightweight non-greasy formula to add softness and shine to your hair would agree. It leads to scalp feeling fresh and rejuvenated. I can kind of agree um. It is recommended for dry, hair, dry, scalp and split ends. Infused with African plant extracts, bamboo, Moringa and aloe vera. It is free of parabens, phthalates and clearance. I made is vegan and it is cruelty free, and I would say that this is is a pretty good. Shampoo y'all, I'm not even gon na, tell y'all, lie to you, so it protects your hair and it also is for all um hair types as well. It does have a very creamy texture to it. Um all those it does say shampoo. I would say this is more of a conditioning, shampoo um, but at the same time I only say that, because this shampoo is very creamy um, it's very it doesn't like fuzz up and foam up, like a shampoo. Usually does it reminds me more of like a co-wash um, however, when that bad boy leaves your hair? Oh oh friend, it cleanses, you really really good. That is one thing. I wanted to say that I really like about this um shampoo and why? I continue to pick it up, because, although because, although it's it feels like a co-wash, it cleanses like a shampoo foreign, okay y'all. So this is how my hair was looking right after shampooing. What I really love is this shampoo really weighs my hair down with the water of course, once I wear its without waste my hair down, but we know that some shampoos can dry your hair out, making it less manageable after shampooing. So after I finish shampooing, I went in with my all-time favorite baby. Listen this hands down! Tracy, put her foot in this one right here friend, so I went in with the pattern treatment mask for curly hair um. This mask is for Curly's coilies and tight textures friend. Listen! Oh, oh, can we just talk about it? If you have never tried this mask before you need to try it because literally it will gather your hair for it number one. The slip on it is top tier the the way it leaves your hair feeling is top tier friend. You need a top-tier product. Oh yes, so this mask says that it delivers slip. Curl elongation and definition to coil is providing moisture to dry or damaged hair and promoting hair growth. It is formulated with softening and sharpening ingredients such as rice, water, ferment and Moringa seed extract and Nod to and Centrio whatever. That means at home remedies your hair will be left, hydrated, silky and pampered. No matter your curl pattern, this curl hair mask is the moisture treatment. Hair mask your natural hair strands have been looking for period. So when we're talking about the ingredients for this product, I will go ahead and let you know that the first ingredients are. You have water. You have poly coordinate 37, which is supposed to help the hair get help thicken the hair. You also have rice ferment, um filtrate. You have hydrolyzed rice protein, you have butaline glycol, you have hibiscus eggs seed extract and then you also have um um spin soil fruit pod extract. Then you have Moringa seed extract. So pretty much everything that is said in the um description of the product it has in, like the the top five to six ingredients, y'all and honestly, it's very hard to find that, because a lot of times mass will claim certain things. It'S supposed to do this, and it's supposed to do that, but a lot of times we don't really get those benefits, because the lower a ingredient is on a ingredient chart. That means the lower you got of that ingredient. That means the lower chance you have of getting the benefits of that ingredient. So a lot of times when we're looking for protein treatments and things like that things to treat our hair, we need to be looking for products that have on in the top five ingredients that protein those different extracts to help strengthen and thicken the hair and pattern Is not playing with child y'all playing with patterns, but playing that pattern is not playing with y'all, because this mask right here, nah Chef's kit, she's that graph she's number one the only don't even waste your time trying to compete with her. Listen! If you listen to the new Beyonce album, you get it foreign does say to apply hair mask on the Tangled hair, wet hair before or after cleansing product um, depending on preference. Let it sit on wet hair for five to ten minutes after rinsing out use the pattern deep condition, so I did end up letting this mask sit on for an hour yeah. I did that's my business though. Okay, I end up letting it sit on for an hour y'all only supposed to let it sit on for about five to ten minutes, but you saw in general. I is on my hair for at least 30 minutes and I end up running to the store. But my hair was still fine, like it was still fine, so this is pretty much how my hair looked once. I rinse the mask out of my hair. It felt really good. My hair actually was not as hard as it usually is, or as tight as it usually is. My hair actually felt super moisturized, and this is pretty much how I knew that I definitely need moisture before using this product. This time I think I had went about a month without doing any kind of protein, or anything like that, so my hip felt really really good. I do want to note that usually people use this product as like a pre-poo mask, but you don't have to use it as a pre-poo mask. You can use it after cleansing. It'S your preference. You can do whatever you want with your product. If you want to use this as your deep conditioner do that all right y'all! So after I finish using the pattern product, I went in with the Mish indoor moisturizing deep conditioner y'all, and I got my life with this one. I got my life with this. Some one listen so this deep conditioner it doesn't have any silicones dry, alcohol, sulfates, parabens, mineral oils, synthetic or artificial colors, phthalates or animal testing. So I do want to say that I love Mish shout out to Mish because they actually sent me their products and that's how I was able to try them for the first time and baby. I fell in love with the product, so listen this. It does moisturizer deep conditioner, it does not contain any protein. It is an intense super moisturizing, deep conditioner for all hair types, especially dry damaged and colored, hair um treated, hair Doge makes hair more manageable, softer and healthier with softer and healthier, which enables hair to retain, lift and grow, and those deep conditioner is enriched with raw Honey and Humanity which helps attract moisture to the hair, simple, but effective ingredients such as olive oil and bamboo soup, bamboo soup, oil, um that help nourish and heal, hair in need of repair and so y'all. This deep conditioner yeah um she's that girl from them. Okay, I don't remember the lyrics, but listen. This deep conditioner is all time one of my all-time favorites y'all, it's moisturizing. The slip is amazing when it actually, when you actually rinse it out every time you have this super nice silky texture on your hair and moisturizer and moisturizes, and it hydrates your hair and that's baby. That'S all I need in the world. That'S all I need is the bush to end the hydration and indulge mishes indulge deep conditioner. Does that every time y'all every time leaving your hair super simple foreign, okay y'all? So I let the deep conditioner sit in my hair for about 30 minutes and once I finish letting sit in my hair for about 30 minutes, I sat underneath the water, let it wash out of my hair y'all and then left my hair, so silky so smooth Y'All I had so much shine on my hair, which I really really love, because I do enjoy putting I'll leave it on hair. That is so super simple and super moisturized because, like if you put a leaving them hair, that's like super dried out already, because the deep conditioner you knew anything it your washing ain't gon na. Be that good! That'S when they're not gon na, be that good. But this indulge deep conditioner was amazing y'all, and this is pretty much how my hair looked right after I was done. Um shampooing, the conditioner using the pattern, treatment mask um and I did apply a leave-in. I used the coconut Shea leave-in from eating Body Works, y'all um, but I do want to say y'all. I am working on recovering my hair. I will be chopping off about an inch or two all very soon, but I am still just waiting to see.
