Sleek Loc Ponytail | No Retwist | With & W/O Hair Extension |Tiana Alexandra

Hey y'all, welcome or welcome back to my channel, i'm tiana alexandra and thank you for tuning in. My other socials, which will be linked in the description below today, is going to be a lock, styling video, i'm going to be trying a sleek, lock ponytail for the first time ever. I wanted to make sure that i was close to wash day before. I did. This style, because i am potentially going to be using some products that i purchased to be able to achieve the very, very, very sleek, look that i'm going for those products being fruit of the earth, aloe vera gel and olive oil setting foam. I also purchased a satin scarf so that i'm able to lay my edges down and make sure it's as flat as possible, as well as scrunchies on scrunchies on scrunchies on scrunchies on scrunchies, because i don't know which ones i'm going to need. So, let's just get right on into it. The first thing i'm going to do is apply my moisture mixture to my hair, because i never go in styling my hair on dry locs. So i have my hair sectioned off in a two at the top, and now i have this back that i'm going to start with. So i'm going to take a section from the back leaving out the perimeter so that i don't pull it too tight and i'm going to put my ponytail as high or as low as i want it. So now i'm going to take my little elastic band and i honestly could make it a little tighter, it's easier to use the little elastics because they don't take up as much space as these bigger scrunchies will. So i may save one of those for last. Okay. So i have that back now, i'm gon na take another section and i'm making sure that i'm not putting it to where it's too tight. For me, i completely forgot that i bought these jumbo elastic rubber bands. Oh i'm gon na grab you i just ran outside. So they are bigger, so, as i start to put more hair into the ponytail, this is gon na come in hand yep. I just put it right back there and stretch there's no breaking and, as you can see, i still have the perimeter left out and now. This is where i believe that i need to apply product, so i'm going to start with the phone first, because i just want to try. First, i can't believe i'm using my viewfinder as the mirror, when i have a little mirror right here, that i need to be looking in. It just need to be wet in order for me to do this part. I think it's time for one of these scrunchies right here, which is the skinnier one. Oh that's a lot of hair y'all, that's a lot of hair. I think it's around all the strands. My little edges that thing whistling and i usually don't ever like sleep, my baby hair down now, i'm taking what i can grab little loose hair yeah that works, and now we about to crack open this satin black scarf a drummer. Please i love it. I have never did this on my life y'all i am so excited like this is like genuine happiness. I have not did this, so let me show you all the bags like. Why does that look so freaking good? Oh my gosh! Oh i'm! So happy. I tried this style, let's see y'all getting my big smile, that's how you know i'm for real and i'm happy. I don't even want to retwist my hair anymore, like what reese was who this is so pretty, like. I'Ve been waiting to do this waiting close to a wash day and also waiting until it had been a while, since i had retwisted my hair, which it has been about over a month. Okay, i just thought about something one of the styles that i do want to try, while i have this sleek black ponytail in is adding another ponytail to it. Now i wish that i had a wefty curly ponytail, so i can just put this up in bands and just wrap it around, but let's see something it has a rubber band already on it. So i'm thinking, but my ponytail is just as long. Maybe i need a longer one or i could try to tie the end of it and tie it around. Oh, i would need multiple, but just just imagine bamboo, i look great looks like you got real hair. I like the oldie. No, you don't look like the old me you're, just beautiful, because how did you even do that girl see? Let me call my mama and tell her that i calmed my box down. I comb my box out. Yes, she did. She did come for locks out what why are you looking like that? Let me see that's how much new growth you got. Maybe i'm gon na go take some pictures, so this is how my sleek life ponytail turned out, and i am absolutely in love y'all, like i really really love this style. I wanted to make sure that i put the sleek lock ponytail out first, because this is going to be the basis of a lot of the lifestyles that i may be trying this year.
