Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new welcome today's video is kindly sponsored by ogx so to see how i got this hairstyle keep on watching. So this video is sponsored by ogx you'll notice me using a lot of their products, so shout out to them for sponsoring this video, i'm going to start off with the refreshing, scalp plus tea tree mint shampoo. Now i will say all of these products i already owned prior to this sponsorship, like i literally own everything my ogx, i'm not exaggerating, if you saw my apartment tour. No, i don't know if i showed that part of my closet, but i have a lot of products. Okay, so i love this shampoo. I bought it while i was at cvs about a month ago and i've been using it by this video. I want to say this, like my fifth time, using the shampoo and i really enjoy it - the tea tree oil - it's not too strong, but you could definitely feel that sensation on your scalp and i feel like it really really really cleanses your hair, but it doesn't Strip it up, it's moisture like it, doesn't, feel super dry and, like you know, brittle after i rinse it out so to condition i'm using one of my favorite conditioners of all time. This is the hydrating repair, argan oil, morocco conditioner. I feel, like everyone knows this. Conditioner shampoo, like if you haven't seen these bottles, you have not watched natural hair videos because literally everyone knows of this shampoo and conditioner, and so i'm using that to obviously condition my hair. I love this stuff. I feel like it just slips and slides through my hair so easily, as you can see, i'm able to brush through my hair with ease. I love the smell, just the feel it's literally an all-time favorite. I'Ve been using it since high school. I love the shampoo and conditioner i use in today's video, but i also love these two as well, and i'm gon na be using the damage remedy, coconut miracle oil, the mask too, but i love the conditioner shampoo. It'S like one of my favorites. It just feels really good, so i'm just trying to give you guys other options, but anyways i'm going to take a lot of that mask and massage it into my hair. My hair is at an interesting point in time. The back of it is so healthy and curly and like perfect in the front part, i have so many damaged ends. I just don't want to cut it off all just yet, so i just do mask when i can or to just keep it hydrated. So i let this mask sit in for about 40 minutes. While i did my makeup and here is aftermath all right guys, so i let the mask in my hair the entire time i did my makeup. I rinsed it out and i blow-dried my hair. I didn't show myself blow-dry in my hair. I want to look crazy and two. I have so much heat damage in the front part of my hair that, like i just don't, even feel like dealing with those comments like one of the most annoying things when it comes to doing a type of natural hair. Video is people point out things about your hair. That'S like bro. I do my hair every day like i know what the i know what's going on, but i did use this uh: silk blowout spray from ogx, what's cool about partnering with ogx - and i already said this earlier, but i want to say like with my face: is That they didn't have to send me any product for the sponsorship they offered to, but i told them like bro. I literally have everything you guys i buy so much of their stuff. Add this. I wasn't use this, but this one had uh thermal protectant in it. So i'm gon na - let me just use this and try to you know, take better care of my hair, but, like i have so many things from their brand that i'm like you guys, don't have to send me any extra product, like i kind of have everything For this video - and that was great - like one of my favorite things about getting sponsorships and sponsorships with brands that i have been rocking with that - have been supporting forever, i've been using ogx since high school, you guys so when they reached out. I was really excited because i've been wanting to work with them for a long time. Well, they told me what the campaign was about. I'M like bro, that's so easy to do. I already used you guys products like on a daily basis, so it was really exciting, but i'm tired of a mess. So let me start doing my hair we're doing a ponytail and we're gon na do like a little rubber band design in the front. I look nuts, so i'm gon na brush out my edges and then i need a photo because i've done this hairstyle before my hair. It'S like healthy in the back damage in the front, but i don't want to cut it just yet, because the last time i cut it, i made it worse. It'S all different, you know lengths some parts are longer sometimes they're shorter. It'S all over the place and i haven't had time to hire a professional to fix it. For me, i know when i get it fixed, i want to get it cut like really short, but there's a few styles. I want to do before i cut kind of to cut off, like all this, like my roots will still get curly, but all this is like damaged in the front. It'S just weird, though, because it's like, whenever i do my hair, i do the same thing. All the way around, but maybe the front part, is um more damaged in the back, because when i had my little shortcut, i would always press the front to make it look perfect. I think i put too much heat in the front. I don't know, but the back it's healthy and i can tell by how it feels when i grew my hair out with scrunchie when i grew my hair out. When was this back in, like 2018, where i didn't put heat on it for entire year, i got to really see the difference between healthy hair and damaged hair, like you could feel it when the water runs through it, and so the back part of my hair Is very, very healthy, the front part it's not so i'm going to eventually cut off all these dead ends. I just i don't want to do it myself, cause i messed up last time so before i do this front part, i'm gon na start to mold the ponytail i'm using this wax. I'M gon na show you guys a texture in a second when i'm using it. It'S very uh. It doesn't really feel like a wax to me. It feels like a wax cream, so it's very easy to mold and it's white, but it dries down clear. So i'm gon na show you guys how i use it. So i'm just gon na brush up like this, and this gives you a really good hold it's interesting because of how like um, soft and creamy it is. You might assume that it's not gon na give you the hole that you want, but like it gives you a good hold, so i'm using brush first. This is probably the only new thing from ogx that i had to buy for this video everything else. I already had, but i'm like, i know i need something for a ponytail, so use a brush. First then comb and, as you can see, we're already being molded down she's looking good take out some of my edges. While i'm doing that and this product will be good, if you know how some edge controls, if not all edge controls, make your hair shiny um, sometimes i don't always like that, depending on the ponytail or the hair, i'm using, because some hair doesn't have that much Luster and so like you could just it makes it less natural when, like your hair, is shiny, but the ponytail you have it's like. Not i don't that makes sense. I hope it does, but i notice it a lot, and so this would be good. If you don't like that, shine that you get from edge control, sometimes i'm going to go ahead and just put it in a ponytail and how i do things well with my ponytails, i do two ponytails and i connect them because my hair is short. So it's easier to do it that way, now time to add the back part which i hate, because it hurts my arms to really go in and make it even more sleek, i'm going to go in with this brush and use the hard side, because the red Brush i'm using it's cool, but it's not that hard, so i'm going with the harder brush to really smooth everything down. Okay, so now we'll focus on this front part, so this part is easier than it looks what you're going to do. It depends on the design you want, but it's very simple, i'm gon na part like this. Have this section out and part this like in a triangle, shape. Okay, that's my wax to get that out. My way, all right guys, i got distracted. I got a call, but you see, i part these little two parts out, i'm putting this out the way, and now i'm gon na take some of the wax and brush back and make sure you pull out any of like the baby hairs you want during this Part, so you don't like accidentally put into the ponytail, get a rubber band and what i would suggest you know you want it to be like secure, but don't do it too tight if possible, because this will start to hurt your head um when i did this Style it looked really cute, but um it will start to hurt your head. Like the tighter you tie it. Okay, look, i'm tiny, really tight, but it's not that tight. It doesn't feel that tight, but, like the tighter you tie it when you remove it wherever area that rubber band was hitting, it's gon na feel really sensitive and like tender. So just be mindful of that. Okay, more of the wax to do this side make sure they look even it's so hard making them exactly. Even but the cool thing is once everything comes together, it doesn't matter like it doesn't have to look perfect, and i learned that when i first did, this is above me is making so much noise, but it's okay, because i won't have to do it that too Much longer and we'll discuss that in another video, okay, cool all right things, looking good so far, you see how this side is like longer than this side. That'S what happens when you just take some scissors after a long day of swimming, and you just chop your hair off like just just for nothing. That'S what i did so now. The cool thing with this style is that it's all about how you want to shape your head shape, like you, could do any type of parting style you want. You know like i like when my hair is pulled back in this center part, for whatever reason i don't know why, so that's why i'm doing it this way, but you could do whatever you want. I feel like different parting styles. Um shapes the face in different ways that looks straight enough to me, move out of my way so now that you guys get the gist of what i'm doing, i'm just going to be quiet, get in my zone and kind of set. My speed this part up not super fast, because i want you to still see what i'm doing but like i don't want to take forever. Okay, so really quick! Now that, like i, have my little ponytails, i'm gon na section it like or split this one in half, i'm using the wax to get the hair under control because it'll just be neater. That way, applying a good coating of that and i think i'm going to put them. Hmm, i'm gon na bring him back. Oh, but wait i messed up on this last time. What did i do wrong last time? Would this look good like test it out before you commit to putting the rubber band on, because i messed up when i first did this that looks cute okay, i'm gon na do like this. I know when i first did this like i know i was doing and i rubber band the piece and like i couldn't connect. Another piece is a lot so make sure you like map it out before you commit to rubber banding. This piece of hair on the side that i didn't sleep back good enough earlier is get me on my nerves. So i need to move this out the way and fix it, and you guys see how it just comes together. I love it. It'S so simple. So now i'm just adding a little more wax, especially because my hair is like short and it's gon na stick up. So i'm gon na take these two and just connect them to my back. Ponytail make sure this is flat, though it's so simple right for the ponytail. I have a drawstring ponytail, that's still kind of wet. I dyed it jet black last night, so i need to blow dry it, but i'm going to start putting it on. I scrunch it up a little bit. First, i got this thing off amazon clip it in, but don't do it too like tight because it ends up hurting your head, ponytails be so cute, but they come with a lot of pain. I'M not gon na lie to you guys not like a lot, but like you got ta, be gentle with your head. When doing them, there's a lot of tension going on. You know cute. I like it already. Let me take it. I learned to draw string that, like it hurts less like you know how you could like wrap it all the way around. It hurts less when you just tuck it in the back, instead of wrapping all the way around, because when you wrap it it gets tighter and it hurts. This is so cute. It looks so neat and professionally done all right. The edges, the most important part, take some more of this wax and i'm about to just start molding away. Oh this is so cute. Don'T you just love when things with your hair go right like when your hair is not cooperating with you? That'S one of the most frustrating feelings in the world like i can't i don't want to think about it the times that i've literally been in, like almost tears from my hair, not cooperating with me. It'S like. I appreciate these moments so much more because it just came out so cute. Okay, we got like two more things to do, and then you can't tell me that this doesn't look so professional. You just simply can't, i wouldn't believe you all right, finishing spray and a little bit of oil, i'm using this oil. This is their argument, rocking oil or argan oil. Morocco same thing to me: i love this stuff. This scent just brings back so many memories. For me, i have to spray because they have it in a spray form it just it's in cuddy's room and i don't wake him up, so i'm gon na just use the oil instead because, like i said, i literally own everything. This is probably my easiest sponsorship. Ever because i'm a stan like i honestly would have did this for free, but i think so just still paying me, i really do love them guys and it's like their products, are so good and they're so affordable. Every time i go to target walmart see yes, any store that has them, which is like damn every store. I have to buy something. The main thing i always buy, though, is the uh conditioner. I use that's my that's my that's my. I don't wan na curse. This box shape that's really mess my stuff also also um, crap um, actually i'll edit it to show it early on when i'm still in the shower, but the shampoo and conditioner that i showed you guys in those clips those work so good, especially that conditioner, like My hair, i love that conditioner, i just love all their stuff. So last thing i'm gon na use some finishing spray. This spray is very special to me because it, the smell of it, reminds me of laura. You guys know laurie john dre. She does hair on youtube too, because when she stayed in my apartment um when she visited la what was this like last july, it was over a year ago now, when she was doing her wigs, she used it to set um set the hair and the smell Smells so good and ever since then one i've been using it because i mean i like it and every time i use it. I think of her, because my whole house is smelling like this, because she was freaking stylish wigs in here. Don'T you guys love when smells remind you of people? Maybe not. Some smells remind you of x's. I don't like those kind of smells, but these kind of smells me. I love laura, so i love using this spray. It also brings me back to that time. I don't know why we're super random, but i won't take long but julys of every year, always good for me, like i always hit in july bro, and so this smell reminds me of like last july, which is a really good time, and so let me just Spray a little bit on my ponytail too um, i kind of like semi spray just for the smell, not even a lot okay, and i think we're done. Let me plop on some more lip gloss really fast. You guys know me, and you know what to be extra, we're going to do a fragrance too. This is the back of my ponytail, oh cute, okay, what do you want to smell like today, i'm wearing the flower bomb nectar, because i just feel like smelling florally. That'S not a word. Flower bomb was the first expensive uh fragrance. I ever got fun fact wow, i'm feeling so good. There'S a lot of positive vibes going on and i hope you feel that if you're watching this video - but i hope you guys enjoyed this video - my ponytail looks so freaking cute, i'm going to dinner tonight so period. I'M going to look extra cute. I need to call up my let me stop, but i come and do maybe i can facetime him who knows, but i hope you guys enjoyed this video. It was so fun to film this. The hair came out perfect. I didn't have no freaking roblox, nothing, everything! Just went so smooth, and i love that for me, i love when that happens. I hope you guys recreate this style if you do which you should it's super easy tag me in those photos and i'm gon na link everything i use down below once again. Thank you so much to ogx. For sponsoring me, it means a lot to me because i organically support your brand. I love your products, so thank you for sponsoring me.
