So i'm just showing you guys the tools and products i'll be using to recreate this tutorial and we're going to go ahead and get started with the video right there. You see me putting edge control on my part, y'all know how, like they be doing braids and i'm also putting some gel on my um hair, and then i put it on the brush to make it easier to apply to my head now remember this is a Wet hairstyle, so you are going to have some texture in that ponytail, but i do like texture because i feel like it matches the ponytail when you have texture in your hair. So right here you see me pulling the short pieces out of the back of my ponytail. I do this because sometimes i put my ponytail too tight and i restraining my this is another tip. Whenever i do, i'm going to always make sure i get fresh ponytail holders because it's easier to pull your hair tight and then also i double it up, so i'm just taking the ponytail out the back. I really don't know why i edit this in there, but if you guys want like an alternative to this ponytail journey girl by model model is a great alternative. This alternative is a little bit tighter curl. So right now, i'm just picking out the ponytail. I flip, and i turn and i twist that until i don't see as much shiny pieces picking out the ponytail definitely makes it a lot more. It makes it look a lot more natural y'all. Please please please, please, please do not skip that steps, because if you just slap that ponytail on it's you're going to be able to tell the difference so y'all see how much fluffing i'm doing. This is what you need to do to make sure that you get out some pieces. I don't like them shiny ass pieces in my ponytails because, like i said it makes it look unnatural. So now we move on to the edges aka baby hair. Now, if you feel like edges is just doing too much and you feel like you're, a grown ass woman you'll need baby hair, that's fine! But it's for me in my house and houston texas. We gon na serve some baby hair. One thing i'm doing different than my last video: i'm using like a stronger gel you don't have to use, got to be, but when i use eco styler gel on my edges, they just be laughing at me. Saying: is this how you got so look? This step is very important. You want to take the end of your red tail comb and glide it down your hairline. That is what's going to give you a straight ass, hairline bomb, ass, hairline, make sure y'all do that step. Let me do it one more time. So y'all can see it again. Another important part is getting these black strips. I like to use two: you can get them from the beauty, spicer they're, real, cheap and putting them on here. This is going to lay your hair in the front down and it also takes away makeup that made it into your hairline. Please don't be ugly, please don't be ugly, please please! Oh, my god, you want that botox effect, don't take a bobby pin and take it behind your ear and slide the bottom cleaning right there make sure you double it up. I remember when i was talking about my hair in the back and how i leave it out because my ponytail be tight. I take some of the ponytail hair and i wrap it around a bobby pin and i pin it down so it doesn't move. So you don't see that hair in the back ever this is some oil i like to use. You can use any oil you want to it. Just put some shine on your actual hair. That'S the final step i like to do is just make sure i tease like right by where my ponytail is because i don't like that wrap around. I don't do that. I don't like it.
