So I'm going for the super high kinky ponytail. This ponytail was like super duper thick, so it was a little bit more difficult than I was expecting it to be. But for those who asked the way, I typically get a nice sleep ponytail is to section out the perimeter and make a ponytail with the center piece of hair. Then I slick the perimeter up to the ponytail that I already made and then make a ponytail with the rest of my hair. I make sure to smooth my hair before I put on edge control and then after I applied the edge control to my hair. I smooth that in again, because smoothing is so important when you're trying to get a nice ponytail, also, if you're not gon na rush to be anywhere tie it down so doing. The ponytail part became really hard because the ponytail was so thick and hard to control and it was actually really difficult to get a clean base, so I had to do it off camera to make it look good.
