Easy Slick Ponytail On Type 4 Natural Hair | Shake N Go Pony Pro! 32" Ponytail | Kellylabelle

Hi guys welcome back to my channel kellie labelle here. Thank you for tuning in so today i'm gon na do a ponytail look for you guys. I don't think i've ever done a ponytail look on here and that's weird because that's been my go-to lately. It'S just very easy: you know you could do it on the spot. There'S not a lot of prep required, so i'm gon na show you guys one of my favorite ponytails currently and yeah. My hair is a hot mess right now today is today is wednesday, and i washed my hair saturday night and i put some leave-in and on sunday morning before i went to church, i just added some gel so that i could just slick it back into a Bun and from sunday till now it's just been degrading in this bun, so i'm gon na do a little refreshing and yeah. Let'S get into it a lot of frizz going on right now and um, i'm going to add some leave-in just to soften it up and yeah. Okay, my hair smells really good by the way, and i think it's because of this leave-in from shea moisture. This has mafira and baobab oil um, so yeah it smells really good. This is what i sprayed in my hair when i washed it saturday night, so i'm just gon na spray, some more of it on there just to kind of soften up all the little frizzies that i got going on so i've detangled both sides of my hair. I'M just gon na go ahead and start applying um right around the part, some edge control just so. The part itself is like slick down. I'M using the um, even extreme firm, hold 24 hour edge tamer. So now that i've got the parting settled, i'm going to go ahead and start molding, this ponytail into place down; okay, so i'm using the oldie but goodie eco styler gel uh. So now that that's done, i can go ahead and lay down these edges. It'S going to take some more of the edge control. That'S on the back of my hand and apply to these edges baby i like to just take the rest of whatever i got put on the palm of my hand and just get it all over and you can use one of those edge brushes for this. But mine, i can't seem to find so i'm very okay with the reptile call. Oh so so we are all slicked down. Okay, slicked love it to make sure that these edges stay in place. I'M going to take some wax strips so, as that you know, lays down and gets settled in i'm gon na put my ponytail on today. I'M using this one. This is the shake and go organic, wrap, ponytail i'll, put it on the screen and in the description box, exactly which one it is. I got this um from my local beauty supply. This is beauty supply, so bsw and the original price is 22.99, but i got it on sale for 16.99. I always say i wish, like the virgin hair companies, would take this concept of wrap ponytails and like do it with the virgin hair, because i would love that a lot, because all of these are synthetic hair and we know how synthetic hair reacting after a while. Okay, no bueno so yeah. This is what it looks like you got, the this part that will wrap around the base of your ponytail and then this part will go around it just to conceal everything - and this is the curly hair 32 inches long, as i mentioned, and let's get started. I might have to stand up and do this because my chair does not spin and i want y'all to see what's going on so there's a comb in here. If y'all can see that that comb can now see that right there. So there is a comb i'm going to try to put that in my hair right here. I'M just wrapping it around. I can't see what's behind me, so i really hope you guys can see and can get the gist of it. Oh, so so so this is how it ends up. Looking okay, i'm about five two and this curly ponytail sits like right on top of my butt, so i'm gon na go ahead and do my makeup and then come back and show you guys. The final look. So i'm back, i went ahead and i did my makeup. I did film this look for you guys so look out for that check out. If you have this and you feel like it's getting frizzy just grab like one of those foam mousses. Maybe i should keep this here. Yes, no just grab like one of those foam mousses and it should tame everything out, but this hasn't given me like much trouble. I really really love this and i find that it's not too bad of a match. With my hair, you know the eco styler gel kind of leaves my hair a little wavy and it kind of goes into the ponytail perfect. So that's it for today.
