How To Fake A Longer Ponytail | Fancy Hair Tutorial

Even with hair extensions, I find that putting my hair up into a high ponytail can make my hair appear much shorter. If you desire Rapunzel length hair like I do, when you put your hair up in a ponytail, I have a trick that will help you. Take a longer ponytail in just minutes the only things you will need to fake this longer ponytail is a large hair elastic, a small hair elastic and a few bobby pins for added length and volume. I am wearing my 240 grams set of fancy hair extensions, but you can totally recreate this ponytail on shorter or medium length, hair for complete list of tools used in today's tutorial. Please see the description below begin by gathering the hair at the crown of your head into a high ponytail and include the hair around your hairline. You can gather your hair any way you'd like so. If you'd like to sleek all of your hair back feel free to do so, I will be creating a more relaxed and messy high ponytail, so I will be leaving the center part in my hair, as it is once you've gathered the hair at the top of Your head you're, going to gather a section of hair from the nape of your neck to the gathered section. Don'T take too much hair from these areas. If you are wearing hair extensions like I am just taking up hair from the hairline to cover up the hair extensions, you want to keep the majority of your hair loose in the center. This trip will create the illusion of all of your hair being up in a high ponytail and appear twice as long secure your ponytail with a large hair elastic and make any necessary adjustments to the shape of your hair. I want to mess your look, so I'm going to gently pull on the hair around my crown area to loosen it up a little next take a section of hair about one inch in thickness from your ponytail, I'm going to use all of the pieces that are Sticking out of my ponytail right now wrap the section of hair around the hair. Elastic two times combine this section with the rest of your ponytail and secure it with a small hair elastic. Make sure that your hair elastic is clear or the same color as your hair. For this part, you can also skip this step if you wish and leave the main hair elastic exposed. Okay, now you can pin away any flyaways that you have around your hair with a few bobby pins and here's the secret to making your ponytail and loose hair in the back. Look like one long, ponytail bobby, pin the underside of the ponytail to the back of your head with a couple of bobby pins, and that's all there is to it nowadays there's a trick for everything. Next time you want to feel like Rapunzel with a super long ponytail and have a few minutes of time to spare.
