Hey guys, I'm back here to show you how to apply a drawstring ponytail today, I'm going to be working with this is newborn free and and she's going to color 1b 33. So you can see the highlight so, as you can see, my hair color right now kind of you know is a reddish up, Auburn color um, but when I put my hair back in a bun, that's your first step. You want to put your hair back in a slick bun, and I gelled it it kind of makes my hair appear darker, even when it um dry. So this still looks good, especially with the highlights. I could probably also go up to a 4:30 color and still be fine, but this is Anne, she's, really long, super sleek and straight so your first step is you want to brush out your ponytail pitts a straight one, and then it comes with two combs right. One at the front, one at the back with the drawstring, so what you want to do is again make sure she's, nice and detangle take the front comb put her here in the front. Take the back home, put it in the back, then you're going to pull all the drawstring you're going to pull the drawstring, be careful when you're pulling you don't want to pull too tight and then pop it back. And then you end up with a broke drawstring. So make sure it's nice and secure, you don't just want to leave it like this, because this doesn't look as seamless as it could. So. What I do is I pull the drawstring back as well as a little bit of hair, something like this, and then you want to make sure this hair is combed out. So you want to take it and bring it around the front like this, and then you want to take a bobby, pin and pin it in the back. So then, it looks just a little bit more seamless rush out your Pony make sure your bun is not creating an odd shape. This one is really pretty this. I do like this ponytail a lot she's really full um and she just is a really pretty shape. Okay, so what I'm doing here is I'm just pushing her in a little bit cuz right here, it was still looking a little bit like kind of like a half. Wake looks with the rounded edge in front of it like that, so I was just pushing it down so then um final step, if you need to I mean before I put my ponytail, I try to slick out everything so that it looks right. The final step is I'll, just kind of go back in um. You know refix and reese leak down things just in case. I need it. So I'm just grabbing a little bit of water. Yeah. Sorry, I'm looking in the mirror, but so that's it! That'S how you apply drawstring, ponytail and um. I love this when I'm kind of feeling really lazy and I just throw my head back in a bun and then throw on this lip ponytail and it gives you a really nice look. I'M gon na have pictures of an on my blog and, like kind of like my review of her my thoughts of her um what'd. She look like fresh out the pack and how she has been holding up so check my blog um, probably in a couple days or something like that, I'm gon na add a post. Maybe I'll do that today add a post about it. She does shed a little bit, but it's not that bad, so yeah, that's how you apply a joshing ponytail, so hope this was helpful and I'll talk to you guys later right.

Belinda Pitt: Thanks for that nice demo. I just bought one similar but I was struggling to get it right and pull the drawstring when it was in the back so I tried it with the combs on each side instead...then the drawstring is on the side and much easier to reach and pull to secure. The ponytail still lays just right that way too ...now I'm trying to master putting it up in a bun...need more practice!

Filo Rican: Thnxs for the tip! you just went straight to the point, easy to understand.

LilLeezy: Love it! Thanks for the tip about wrapping the drawstring too.

yurika975: You can use a curling iron if it's heat safe. If not you can add a bit of setting lotion and use rollers. You can set it on rollers and use very hot water. Then you allow it to dry. You can use rollers and heat them with a blowdryer. You can also use flexi rods to set it. Lots of ways to curl it.

tnxmami: @trystun4519 She does tangle so I just combed her with a mini paddle brush that I kept in my purse. I also sprayed it with the Carters Detangling Spray after I took it off every night :) When it becomes dull and nappy I still use the pony but actually wrap it into a bun.

The Monette Family: Thanks for the video. Very very helpful

GoldenLadyLinda: Gorgeous!

Jenn's fun adventures: I wanna ask does it irritate your scalp vs the Bobby pins being stuck in to keep it in place?

Love Faithfully: Any opinions from you lovely ladies? ...Question: My hair is thick curly but not like that very thick strand of hair. I have two drawstring ponytails that are straight hair. The colours are matching to my natural hair (hair is natural). Would that look suitable/nice to wear it like that? (natural curly w/ straight haired ponytail?

D Chews: Thanks, very helpful
