How To: Slick Back Ponytail | No Part | On Natural Hair

Hey y'all, it's your girl, Miley said back with another video and before I start this video, this lightening is going in and out. So I'm sorry do hair we're just stuck in a household. Why not look cute in the house so all the stuff that I'm using right here? Hopefully I have everything because I'm not getting back up, but yes, so usually when people do plane tails they like to straighten their hair, but I don't want no heat damage. I don't feel like straightening my whole hair anyways, but I do want it to look real straight, so I'm just gon na straighten half of it. That'S real ghetto, already Kerry, going straight in half in my hair um. Also, my hair isn't freshly washed. I watched it like a couple of days ago, but it does have products in it, so yeah, so we're just gon na take this down to start sectioning off the part that I want to straighten my hair is not nappy by the way I did comb it Out before this yall already know, I got ta have a mirror, so I'm gon na be looking here. So I'm just gon na section off the part that I want straightened, which is like just the front part, and I don't care if the line is straight or not alright. So this is the only part of hair that I'm gon na straight in because yeah, like a dummy, I forgot to tuck in my straightener, so I can already start straightening it. So we're gon na have to wait for that to heat up. So my straightener is hot, so I'm just gon na go through this like one time each like I'm, not making sure it's real bone straight, but straight enough, so it look straight. I said straight too many times, but you give ROM saying art. So I just straight in half of it, like I said and um, I just realized that in Pinole a protector in my hair, but too late to go back and now right, so y'all see my little short hairs right here yeah I had a boss spot and It'S going bang, so I look like alfalfa, so I'm just wan na take out the rest of my hair and just comb it out with like a paddle brush like I said it wasn't even a B for room okay, so I just got done brushing all my Hair to the back, and I'm just going to just put it in like brush it back to like a where I want my ponytail to be and like. I want it like not on the top like a high bun, but more so, like a bat ponytail like this, so look. I think I want it here so now. I'M gon na worry about getting this thick, even though, when I straightened it and helped it. I, like a whole bunch, I'm just gon na use some gel eco one y'all know this is my favorite one and roots in my hair best. Also some Murray's hair wax. I like this stuff - I don't know, and then I don't know if I use this yet, but just some Jim I'm happy not going to this book. So I'm just gon na get a brush and just brush. So I'm just gon na be some gel and just start putting it on there and sleep. Oh so I'm just pinning I'm just putting on my hand because I don't got time starts licking. If my name looks so big right now. All right and a crazy thing is that, like when I straighten my hair or blow-dry it and I put gel on it - it doesn't um curl, but now we're just gon na brush it back now I'll get a rat tail comb and I'm just gon na kind Of comb it back so like the rest of the hair, it's like so what I usually do about ponytails I do um. I was got to be free spray, but I ran out and now I'm just going to look like the whole ponytail. I, like the back and I'm gon na, make sure that this part in the middle is smooth because it's a little lumpy for Joe and then you're just gon na work. Your way into me, it is snake as possible, so I'm just gon na put this on. Like a temporary ponytail, because when I white boy tells I don't like a thousand times but we're about to worry about the edges, so so I'm going to go to edges and I just used regular, gel and also there's summary wax. So, first, I'm just gon na brush wet edges, I'm out so another one. These are just crazy right now stuff. I do that. I'M brushing up the edges, I'm just gon na get the Murray backs and I'm just going to dip it like scrape it against this and start stupid. I don't know if I want to like that dramatic or simple. Let me just go with the flow so, and I just go back and forth with this. The first I just done oh they're, gon na be so cute. I'M just gon na be some sideburns out, because I think it's cute we're like when it's out. I just straighten them, then he's gon na do the last soup. After this, I do go over it with gel, because this Angele all right. So I get these and I'm like they're, not dramatic, they're, real, simple and cute. So now I'm just gon na go over the edges with Mike it just with some eco and just fix it up more straight in the side, birds and you know, wrap it up. So I can really put the gel over with my finger, because this - and then I slick the rest back up here with gel also I'm just gon na get some of his own beeswax. I just put it back on the roots of my hair and just brush. It back just because it also it makes it approach a jury unless it dries and it doesn't turn white is white right now, but you just got ta work it in and then, of course, after that I'll go over it with gel all right. So I'm just gon na straight in I'm not surprised like this is not making my head. Look that big, because I already have a big forehead, but sometimes I mean looking. I came with like certain styles, so I'm just going to wrap it with this thing. I have no idea what it's called, but i'ma, let this dry for like five minutes under here, just because I will usually start the ponytail but says it's like a little far back. I might just wait so I'll see: y'all okay, so I'm just gon na cut these off and then ever give my blow dryer and i'ma just go over it a little bit just to make sure it's like really dry all right. So this is how it's looking. This real cute, so I'm gon na get my blow dryer and put all cool and imma. Just look at this. You know so now, I'm just gon na like brush the back up and make sure like my ponytail is good, and then this is gon na. Be the final time I tie it and then you're just gon na brush it up. I don't you see like these little baby here thinks I'm gon na swoop them. So I can look rope put together at the end, but I'm gon na take this out and kind of make it form how I wanted to just I'm, adding more gel to it so that look at the hair tie and tie it. I'M just gon na get another hair tied and make sure everything is real, secured and stuff a piece of reporting settle broke, but I'm just cut it off because I've got time alright. So now that this is real slick, I'm gon na wrap this up again and we're just gon na bury it the ponytail and put the ponytail on I'm gon na be using glue and the wrap not bobby pins cuz. I used two bobby pins all the time, but then I found that glue works a thousand times better but use, and it's really easy real, quick. So the point L this was the hard part. The ponytail is easy. Okay, so I am back in my hair. It'S done um. My camera had died, so I just decided to just put it on, but if you want to cut in depth video of how to put the glue in the wrap and braid your hair and stuff, I could do that for y'all. There'S also a lot of videos that you can watch and it will help you it's really easy, though it's not that complicated. So I'm gon na show you on the back.
