Hey so you've probably seen these videos 100 Years of hair 100 Years of makeup 100 Years of outfits 100 Years of periods. That is an actual one of those videos for some reason and ponytails. That'S what we're doing today, don't tell anyone, don't tell them, and I tried to prepare my hair for the first hairstyle and, as you can tell it just went completely wrong. It needs ringlets. My only hair curler is more of a beachy wave like Fallout in five seconds type of curler, but they were talking about ringlets and I was like I can do ringlets with my hair curler with my three chair curler, but we'll just make it work. Here'S a ponytails, 1920s foreign Vogue, some women hang on to the looks romantic ringlets adorned with a large bow. We will not be having romantic ringlets, we'll just be having horrific hair instead of romantic ringlets, it's the closest hairstyle to a ponytail in this decade. It'S not pausing, I'm so surprised that my laptop has made it this long, because I watch movies and stuff in the bath, and I have my laptop balancing on the edge of my bathtub and I like living life on the edge like that. So I did get some ribbon. I can tell y'all right now: y'all are gon na get sick of this music like y'all, are gon na get so sick of it, because I'm getting to that point. Okay, so I'm gon na part, my hair, but like that. No because I'm not gon na look like a romantic ringlet, 20s girly, I'm gon na look like I work at Apple, okay, it'll! Look like an internet Apple. I feel like a cheerleader yo yo wait, yo, yo kind of like a seal. I can't see it, but you most definitely can oh next hair. Oh, I have like baby hairs that like grow out like this and it looks like their hair just like overtaking my neck and it's like super cool, it's kind of like giving Marvel character. 30S. Oh hmm, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Judy Garland wears pigtail braids, but her hair isn't braided all the way down, leaving Lush curling tails, but I loved curling their hair back in the decades. That would be me, though, honestly, like these girls are so lucky like this is a dream gig for them. I bet they just get to have people do their hair and they just get to sit there and be like you know, so they, French, braid it and guess who tried to French braid recently and completely forgot how I thought it was going to be like riding A bike and I'd just start doing it and I'd be like that, didn't happen. I think you get like two pieces. Let me go. Try to figure out how to do a French, braid and I'll be right. Back yeah yeah girly will not be finding the yellow brick road with this hair. Absolutely not. The movie would have gone a different way if she, if her hair, looked like this, so I did get some Blue Ribbon, so maybe that'll, maybe that'll save this. I don't know what the back looks like. Okay, oh it's like way too short. Everyone yay. I feel like that's something she would do we're moving on. We, we must move on 1940s. Oh, no there's not a definitive ponytail in sight, but women tie their hair back in snooze, decorative cloth, netting for factory work and nights on the town. I saw a tutorial of a girl doing that hair and it it melted my brain, if we're being honest because there's nothing in there, I thought there was like a roller in there or they did something like something was happening behind the scenes or under the roll. But no, it was literally just she just like rolled up her hair and then put it back, and she also mentioned like you, don't want to be able to see through that, like you want it to be like closed up. My hair is just too smooth and silky for this, like I'm so sorry, they're called victory. Rolls apparently just stick a couple bobby pins in there and we're good to go. That is better, if we're being honest, that's better than I thought it would be. I didn't. I thought it would fall completely down the spirit. Is there the spirit of Victory? Is there I look like a Disney villain. People put so much effort into their hair, then wait. I think this was a small victory roll. If you like, look like you're up to something it kind of fits, we can only be positive right now. That'S all I can do 1950s as if overnight, the ponytail is suddenly everywhere and worn by everyone from beatnix, a usually young and artistic person who rejects the Moors of conventional Society. Thank you. Google, to sock, hop goers in poodle skirts. I look like a poodle. I just remember dressing up like quite a few times. Maybe it was only once, but it like just shaped me so much that I remember it really being a very pivotal moment in my childhood, when we got to dress in poodle, skirts and 50s outfits. Oh, we got the deep side - part oh there's another bobby pin. I don't even remember why I wore a poodle skirt. Like I don't remember, even remember like the occasion it must have been something big, something big was happening and then I kind of like that. One Audrey Hepburn's, bookish Beauty and funny face kept things simple and Chic, but the Sleek ponytail. I love this one and she loves it too. Bridget Bardo favors a tousled half up half down Style with big bows to highlight this sweet girlishness of her ponytail, there's gon na be so much hair on my rug, because I shed so much anyway like it's so concerning because I was like I want a cat Girl, I can't handle all the hair. I can't handle more hairs in my life, so we'll do that and then we'll like leave some hairs down like not that one, but it's snow, hey, look out for that. Moving man 7 leaves wait, cute, okay, of course, I'm not gon na do that hairstyle, but I found another one from the 70s. Something about the half up. Half down hurts like nothing else, okay, so she just has part of her hair down and then she's. Just like hey, let's just get these two little pieces, they need to be bigger, don't they? Okay? No, they don't look like her. I like this hairstyle too, it's kind of Sporty Spice a little bit 80s. The whale spout ponytail, which I have never heard. It called that and the high side pony a cheerleading staple are cool for school and the red carpet. Girly scrunchies, sometimes worn doubled up, are a must for any ponytail. So this will be the easiest. So if you didn't know I'm the scrunchie Queen, I have like these on my little scrunchy TM holder, oh yeah yeah, and did you even have to ask yes, we are doubling up on the scrunchie 90s pigtails aren't just for toddlers anymore, they're kind of low-key roasting Them thanks to celebs, like teen, Queen Britney Spears, oh yeah, I was walking through Walmart and I was like. I need to find some of those little beaded hair things and I was like there's no way that they have these anymore and of course, I didn't have them in the hair section, and I was like Claire's Claire's would never let me down. They have this like newish section there that is like Claire's stuff, of course, I'll walk over to the Claire section. Not only do they have them, but they have cute disco ball, like looking ones. Claire'S continues to serve us right, they're, not two of the same color as I've. Just noticed. We won't let that stop us. Oh two, thousands ponytails with a mini poof in the front are popular they're like period sweeping teased. Hair back also gives a pompadour effect and she has the face down. She knows what she's doing. I'M not gon na. Do it today, because we're gon na do it with the real deal in a video coming up, I feel like we got ta make that it's on video about how much this changed the world, and it just can't be done in a few minutes of just another. Video, so we're skipping over to 2010 with Claudia the Ari we stand. Thank you. The fact that I still say we stand, and this is a 2010's hairstyle. We stand a Sky High style, Ariana Grande's signature look includes a mile long Pony perched at the Pinnacle of her crown. She'S like this hurts on Twitter Grande confessed of her Hefty extensions, I'm in constant pain, always and don't care at all. We will never say. Thank you next to a ponytail that is right. Allure. We Stand waist length bubble, ponytails hit the Valentina Runway, that's extreme versions in a range of textures show up at music festivals, the gym and the office. I never saw Pam wearing that hair, so I've done the bubble. Braids and I've had my issues with those, but I think those are cute. I think that's a cute look. We'Ve already seen the bubble braids, but I'll just do the it's me just see you Ari. I can't really do it without extensions. It'S just like my normal ponytail, okay Ariana. We Stand Ariana see if I kind of like cover it up. It'S kind of yo, oh yeah, okay, slay! That'S what they're gon na do about like two 20 20s they're gon na be like this hair Slade, this hair slayed the day away bye. Thank you.

Imauni Ryne: I love the ideas that Maddison be coming up with

Bianca Jimenez: Maddison: *Does the Judy Garland pigtails and adds the bows* Me: It's giving Wendy's, but we love her.

J.L.: can we talk about how stunning she looks jesus wyufgbdughhxgsligjng never stop being creative and uploading i WILL SOB

GZUZ414: Maddison looks like such a geniunely nice person i wanna be her friend

I'd rather be with my cat right now: The Bardot hairstyle looked so slay on you

fkaciggs: Sorry I actually thought you looked real good with french braids, like am I wrong? Also just for next time; for Victory Rolls you would use back combing, hair spray and a bunch of pins. Those super manicured 50’s styles aren’t possible on clean hair with no product, no matter what texture you’ve got!

C B: Brave of you to try victory rolls. Mine like the same whenever I’ve tried lol. Can’t wait to see the bumpit!

danWHY: I have the exact same hair texture as Maddison so this video is annoyingly relatable

Hailey Bruce: I absolutely love this video, but as someone who loves historical hair and fashion, GIRL that video you followed is the most loose interpretation of hair throughout the decades I've ever seen. Someone did not do their research.

Cynthia D: I love the scrunchie look and the claire's pigtails!

Kayleigh Selina.: The whole time I'm thinking why didn't she just hit mute on the allure video lol and the Bridget Bardot one looks SOOOOO good on her.

౨ৎ: omg but why were these sooo cute on you !!! even with straight hair i loved it ♡

AnotherGreenMidget: Oh, the 2000s pompadour. I shoved that out of my mind.

KenzieHurlock: I've never considered a ponytail actually doing your hair. It's for working out or when your hair is dirty.

Crystal Jones: I love it! Thanks for posting!

Sarah Sophia: You slayeddd every era!

ambs: You messing with those beaded hair ties gave me flashbacks of how bad they hurt!

Alyssa Rubick: "I never saw Pam wearing that hair"

RRM: Wait… the laptop by the bath. That couldn’t kill you if it fell in could it? Or is that only stuff that’s plugged in? Lol I legit feel both scared for you and stupid for not knowing this right now

The Gray: 1960's One suits you so well.

Beth S: Love the 60s ponytail on you

Blakiedoo: 7:24-7:32 was so fuckin funny for no reason why da hale her hair look like dat

Laura Lopez: 100 years of period next

Tabby: Most of those types of videos are not even close to being historical accurate. It's like relying on John Wayne videos for western facts.

Hearing Visions: too pretty Maddy B!

mfchimichanga: 100 years of Crocs

olivia: 2:33 you kinda look like the AT&T commercial lady here

the_king_of_fabulous: why is the music giving me monsters inc
