Sleek Braided Ponytail On Natural Curly Hair | Nia Hassey

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, my name is nia hassie and i do hair lifestyle and beauty videos if you guys are into that type of stuff, make sure you guys go ahead and subscribe. So today i'm going to be doing a slick back low ponytail on curly natural forgot, the natural natural curly hair. So if you guys are wanting to see how to do that, uh just stay tuned and continue watching this video seriously keep watching. If you want to see how i did this before i start doing my hair, i'm just gon na tell you guys what you need first, so you're gon na need a spray bottle and then you're going to need. I use eco but you're going to need some type of gel. I also have this edge booster, which i put on like my actual edges, and i have this brush, you want to have one, that's like real like hard. I don't know the word, but so i can really lay your hair down you're going to need a rat tail comb. Just so you can part your hair and get it straight, and then i have a little itty bitty rubber band for the end of the braid. Just so, i'm not using like a regular ponytail, and then i have a bunch of ponytails. The hair that i use is expressions. I use a four shade. It comes with two, and then they have the ponytail which you're gon na need um. It'S honestly, it's like super cheap. I think it was like three dollars, so this is what i use and it's a 48 inches and then lastly, this is optional, but i have a scarf that i use just at the end, just to make sure my hair is laid down like as much as Possible - and this really helps so - i would recommend using a scarf at the end. Okay, so the first thing i'm gon na do is use my rat tail comb and i'm just gon na part, my hair in the middle, and then you can also you can do this hairstyle with the side part. So the only difference is you just part it to the side? Oh, my look. How big my hair literally is. This is honestly kind of a look like i'm. Not even gon na lie. Okay, but i feel, like this part, is pretty straight. I might fix it if it's not, but my hair like parting it in the middle, is so okay parting it in the middle, like my hair, is so weird all right. So the next thing i'm gon na do is use a spray bottle and just like get my hair wet just so it's easier to brush down, and it's like easier to like do and manage. Okay, this spray bottle is broken. So all right, so i'm just gon na use the brush and brush it down. So i have it pretty flat, and the next thing i'm going to do is use my eco and just put it on the top just so it stays. I use like this much. I'M probably gon na use more later on. Okay, so after i use the eco i'm going to brush my hair down again all right, so it's a pretty flat to me. So i'm going to start off using two ponytails and going around three times and i'm also gon na keep brushing just to make sure my hair is really laid down all right. I'M gon na spin around and show you where i'm gon na put the ponytail like at the lowest part of my head. So you see it is like a little ponytail right now. So this is what the front is gon na look like and then the back is just gon na be a low ponytail. So the next step is to grab your hair. This is what it's going to look like once you take it out of the packaging. It'S going to come with the hair wrapped like this and then you're going to have the ponytail. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to turn to the side and do this so i'm going to put it on just like i'm putting doing a normal ponytail and just wrap it around. So i now have the ponytail wrapped around we're now. Gon na put the ponytail, on top of your hair and you're gon na split your hair and the fake hair into three different sections. So i have my hair in the fake hair split into three different sections and i'm gon na grab a piece, and this is the piece that we're going to leave out because we're going to wrap it around the ponytail. So and then what i'm going to do? Right now is i'm going to start braiding the hair together so and now the braid is done and sometimes doing the braid. It can be like super difficult, like your hair, i'm sorry. I had like a hair on my mouth - okay, but sometimes i'm doing the braid. It can be super difficult, um, like your hair, can get tangled you're gon na have to like probably redo it a couple of times, but i'm not done yet. What i like to do is i like to take out the side of my hairs like the little strands. I don't know what they're called. I know they have a name, and i just put a little eco on them. So the last step is to do your edges, so i'm just going to bring them down with the brush or the comb. I'M always saying the wrong name for something, but you guys know what i mean: okay and then i'm gon na get the edge booster, and i just do. I honestly do my edges with my fingers and then i just fix them with the rat tail comb and the brush okay, so i am all done. This is what the finished product looks like. Let me stand up, so you guys can see the full braid, but this is what the final product looks like i'm gon na do a little spinning.
