How To Get A Sleek And Longer Ponytail With A Drawstring Ponytail| Long Vacation Girl Ponytail

Hey you guys, if you would like to see how i went from this normal looking ponytail to a long and wavy ponytail keep watching, so i am starting off with clean hair. My hair has been washed conditioned and detangled. So now i am going to separate my hair, so i can get an idea of where i want my ponytail to be positioned. Your part does not have to be perfect. I just want to separate my hair, so i can get this natural hair as flat as possible, so i am going to detangle a little bit more and apply some hair gel. So so now i'm going to put this section up in a ponytail to get it out my way, i'm just going to detangle part of it a little bit more and plaid it up. So it's out my way and then we're going to move on to the next section. Once again, your part does not have to be perfect because at the end we're going to blend it all together. Anyway, we are going to add some more hair to the section. Why did i say we? I am going to add more gel to the section and i am going to go ahead and blend it in with the first section that i created so we're going to make this into one ponytail and make sure that you take your time and make sure that Your base is completely flat, especially if you have kinky hair like i do so we're going to apply more gel just to make sure your hair is sleek and the more hair gel that i apply. The more weightier my hair becomes, and since i have a wavy ponytail, you definitely want enough hair gel that will allow your hair to become wavy so yeah. Now we are at the last section. I was too lazy to make a part, so i decided to just brush all of my hair back, so i did not create a part if you would like to go for it me. I was lazy and tired, so yeah, i'm going to brush this last section in and i'm going to take my hair out the ponytail and we're going to blend it all together, keep adding as much hair gel as you need to and keep brushing, and i am Not a baby hair type of female - i guess um, i don't like the whole exaggerated baby hair thing trend, so i kind of skipped the whole baby hair thing: um yeah, i'm just making sure my hair is nicely laid and i'm gon na put my hair in A ponytail and i am going to detangle a little bit more just because i'm going to plot up my ponytail, but i'm not going to do it in one big plait. So for some reason i like doing multiple plaits, i don't know but um yeah. I don't know why i do this. I don't like one big plait, i feel like it's not. I don't know it's just really sloppy when i do one big plait, um, so yeah, now i'm just gon na braid, all the plaits together and then i'm just gon na add some product. So i try to treat my ponytails as a protective style. So i just want my ends of my hair to be moisturized, and now i'm just going to put a scarf on and a bandana on to make sure my hair and my edges are laid, and this scarf has been rocking with me for so many years like It is it's: it's beat up, it's very um beat up, but yeah um. This is the ponytail that i will be applying to my hair. It'S the long vacation girl, draw string ponytail and this what it looks like it's very long. I forgot how long it is. I think it's like 16 or 18 inches and, to be honest, i ended up cutting it just because it was way too long for me, so my hair is laid - and i am now going to take my plait and put it in a bun. I also use bobby pins to attach the ponytail to my bun. I don't use the clips that they provide, or i don't use the top clip they provide. I do use the one that's in the back, but i don't like using the clips they provide, just because i had a bad experience with a wig with the clips that they provided. So i just use bobby pins now um yeah. So now i'm just going to tighten my ponytail with the draw string and i'm going to put a bobby pin at the end of the drawstring and i'm just going to hook in the drawstring and so that it can be hidden. So i'm just going to take a thick hair bow and put it um at the end of my ponytail or the beginning of my ponytail, whatever i know a lot of people like to just take the hair and wrap it around. But to me it looks fake um, so yeah, but you can do that if you want to. I just like to use hair bows, and this is the end product, and i hope you guys enjoy this video thanks for watching
