Trying A $13.99 Wrap Ponytail From Amazon | Review + Demo

Hi guys and welcome back to my channel, my name is caitlin um. I want to welcome you guys all back after a little pause of my uploading. I have started full-time work again today, we're doing a ponytail review. I got it for 13.. It is synthetic this just to me was so interesting because you know i have very fine hair, as you can see it's kind of short, it's very fine. It'S got no length, no volume whatsoever, and so most of the time, because clip and hair extensions are very hard for me to blend, because my hair is so short and fine. I like to put it up in a ponytail a long time. I'Ve struggled with always concealing the clips, so i came across this ponytail um, but i just thought this was interesting because it was 13 and it had amazing reviews what i'm looking for in a quality ponytail, regardless of if it was cheap or not, is i want It to be um thick from root to the end of the hair. I don't want it to go thin towards the bottom, because it gives a very ratty appearance, very fine looking and i'm also looking for it to not have that shiny appearance. Sometimes synthetic hair can have that shiny appearance where it can kind of look like a halloween wig like it just looks super fake, so we're gon na give it a go. I'M gon na open it on camera and let's cross our fingers and just hope that this is just a miracle all right. So i'm back, i have the package i'm going to open it up, make sure i don't actually cut the hair when i'm cutting this okay. So it comes in this cute little pink package. All right comes in another package, so it's very well packed all right, so all of the details will be down in the description below um. Essentially, this is what it looks like. Oh my god, oh wow, i think. Oh, my god, that's actually legitimately a perfect match. I i've been getting so lucky with these amazon hauls. Oh my god. I am saving so much money and that's a really. I just want to kind of do a little close up here. Okay, so just for reference. I got the 23 inch ponytail um, it's in the the straight, the straight version um and i got it in the color sandy blonde and bleach blonde mix. So this is literally my hair color. It'S very light towards the ends, but the roots like it's got some. It'S got a a lot of highlights in it, so it's extremely ashy - and this is so pretty - oh, my god this is actually insane. I am getting so lucky. I don't exactly know why it has one like the piece where you wrap around your ponytail. I don't know why they curled that piece. I guess it's to show that, even though it's synthetic it can be curled like it's a quality, synthetic okay, so i'm extremely excited. I'M gon na go off. Camera apply this and i'm gon na come back and show you guys the result, okay guys. So this is the final result. It turned out super super good. I have been getting so lucky with these amazon finds. I remember the last time i i got clipping hair extensions and they were amazing um. This ponytail i've never worked with a ponytail before like a wrap pony or anything like that. I'Ve usually only used clip-ins. So this is very different for me. I did have to have some help with my boyfriend and what i found that was the most difficult part is make your own ponytail as tight as possible. So my hair is very fine. I usually wrap it around four times for it to be nice and secure. I wrapped it around five times to make it extra tight so that the hair won't weigh down my own ponytail and cause it to slip, because i, like that, really snatched high pony look so again, the more tighter and secure your own ponytail is the better. It'S going to look um and just to finish off my hair, i added a little clip and i also um used some bobby pins for the back, because i have little baby hairs that i i don't like dangling down and i use a little bit of hairspray. I'M definitely not a hairstylist by any means. Hair is the least favorite part of my daily routine, i'm not good at hair i actually suck so um yeah, i'm not one to go in with like a baby toothbrush and, like you know, lay down my my little baby hairs. I don't know how to do that properly. It never works out good for me, so i just use a little bit of hairspray and it turned out pretty good. This literally is for beginners, like you, don't need to be a professional by any means. If i can do it, you can do it just make your hair again super super tight as tight as possible, and that is key a little bit of hairspray or whatever you like to use to secure your hair down, so that it lays extra smooth um to Give that really polished look so i'll show you guys from the side and then from the back. I don't actually know what it looks like from the back, so i guess we'll see now um, but this is how it looks from the side. This is from the back side.
