Synthetic Ponytail Review | Ft Project Hair & Beauty

I'M sure you have um yeah life's been a little bit hectic, but today i'm just going to be showing you guys a quick hair review of project, hair and beauty, i'm just showing you their ponytail look which, as you can see, turned out bad but stay tuned For more um and don't forget to like comment subscribe to my youtube channel and check out my instagram for more of my looks so now that we've got the introductions out the way, let's get into the next video. So to start us off, i'm just going to show you guys the amazing ponytail from um project, hair and beauty. So i'm really excited to be trying this out and just reviewing it for you guys and just showing you how i really do my ponytail looks um. So, firstly, let's talk about packaging, which is not bad. I like it. I think that it's like soft silk, you know usually what hair comes in to be honest, most of the time just to preserve it um, but from the way it feels, i think, there's also um a like styrofoam plasticky case as well um. So this is where it comes in. This is long. This one's called a mecca in the shade 1b, so usually when i'm getting ponytails i'll either get 1b color 2 and just get this out the not the packaging um. Oh, this is really soft. I like, and you know why like you'd, be surprised because, obviously it's synthetic hair, so it's like the fact that it's this soft i'm not mad at it, i'm really not yeah, and it's long and it's like the density is quite good as well. It'S quite it feels quite full and for a long i think, hair piece. I think this is always good and you know what the most important part of a ponytail is this bad boy right here. This will have you looking sick, like literally amazing, because i love the fact that you can then wrap around and just create this really preppy ponytail look um, which i will be doing today, um, so yeah. I'M really excited to try this out. So the first thing you want to do is just get all your products together to make sure you're actually able to just do the ponytail all in one go rather than having to go out and get all the products and running around how to skelter. So the first three products, i'd probably say, are like needed is the got to be ultra blue, styling, gel um, which pairs really well with the eco styler, just for like extra grip and then the got to be free spray which will set everything into place. These products they're kind of a necessity. If you really want to get a good slick out of your hair um, and then you just want extra utensils like your comb, your edge brush um. Also, you need like hairbands bobby pins stuff like that and then finally, your gummy for those edges to make sure they're slick and sweeped great and then any stuff like hair clips. If you need them so yeah now i'm just going to get into this hair tutorial and i hope you guys enjoy it. So now i'm just going to get to slicking my hair um, which is a process that is temperamental. Why do we keep doing that? Like it's going this way, so we're going to do our best, so, firstly, you just want to comb out your hair to make sure it's properly detangled before you add any product in there. I also like to put some clips in my hair just to hold them in at this stage. Forgot to mention. You'Ll also need a bristle brush or a soft brush. Either is fine. These are best for sticking your hair into place. Then you want to grab your got to be gel and your eco styler and apply a generous amount around your hair for a longer lasting slick. I suggest doing this in sections, but since i'm not planning to have this ponytail in for too long, this will do just fine. You then want to grab your free spray as well and apply some onto your brush and just give that extra grip when you're brushing in your hair when brushing your hair into the middle. Don'T worry if it's not perfect, you're going to need to go over it again anyway, which i'll do off camera just grab a small hairband and tie your hair in place exactly where you want the ponytail to sit and i'd suggest not doing this too tight, because You don't want it to pull, and the next thing you know, you've lost all your glory so now that we've done the first two rounds of just like slicking the hair and making sure a lot of that product is in there. We'Ve got to be free spray. In fact, let's just do another, just one more good luck before i do put the scarf on, i'm actually going to separate my um edges out and so that when i do want a swoopy swoop, i can actually do that without having to like tug at my Hair um, so i'm just gon na go ahead and do that now. So i'm just gon na grab a mirror because i can't see um and just gon na, like i kind of just like i'm, not like a huge edges girl, because i don't really have any um. But i kind of just want to sweep these little bits out here these little bits here, yeah. It depends if you're like a major i just kind of gal, then you can take more out i'm going to take a little bit out of this bit as well, because i like having small small sidebands um, so yeah, i'm just brushing a bit of this out Right so now that i've got my edges out, i will just go ahead and put a scarf on now, um just to wrap it for about 20 minutes just because i can't really wait any longer than that, but it's good to actually keep it on for as Long as like you can, depending on what your hair texture your hair's like because my fossee you need to really you know, have it on there for long um, but yeah, now just trying to get that last bit of slick down. But you know what. Even though my edges look very crazy, it's not bad! It'S not it's not a terrible slick! Um! It'S not terrible! These edges are just living for themselves. Okay, so now, let's see how easy this is to apply okay, so you kind of want to be able to like lay it flat so that when it goes round it will actually like attach properly you kind of want to wrap this around that little bun that You'Ve got there so that when it is there like, when it's all going down, it all goes down in one in unison, as they say in step up. That'S my favorite film, okay, okay, you might want to be careful not to do it too, tight because it can get quite sore, especially if you're going to keep this on for a little bit like a while, and then you just want to grab this and wrap That round, you know what a good thing would be to do. Right now, actually would be, i think, to try and like um use, some got to be on it, but i'll probably do it towards the end of the wreck around. So you just want to wrap it around as many times as it'll go really um whilst covering the velcro that's at the top there. Oh, i am tired, so it's probably good to tack it in with a few bobby pins. I'Ve actually already done that and then just brush through the ponytail. So you can get rid of like any tangles and stuff, that's inside the ponytail and then after you just want to go ahead and get to styling, so styling how you would wear the ponytail out and then these these sorry excuses for edges. We gon na slip. Those too, so you just want to grab your gummy and your edge brush um. You probably won't put a little not much, but a little bit of um got to be free spray and then because i don't want the gummy to be too like aggressively strong, because gummy is like a bit much. Sometimes i'm gon na put a tiny bit of the eco styler on and then also put the gummy together, um and, like i make up these little dupes and hacks. But i think everyone does that, like when they're doing their own hair and people like you'll, watch a video and be like. Oh, these look like such a good idea. Then, when you try it yourself, you just remix it completely. It'S like cooking, you just remix. It turns out the same or better, um, better yeah. So now i'm just giving my edges the full treatment with gummy and then i'm gon na put a scarf on for about 10 minutes after that i'll just brush through the ponytail. Add some hair serum and be back to show you guys the final look, so i just thought i'd come back to show you guys the final look and basically give you guys my final review on this hair. I really like it. I think the fact that it's so soft and it's synthetic is just kind of a rarity. It'S literally like gold dust getting like affordable hair out here, and this hair only retailed for, i think 29.99 euros. This company is actually from ireland, uh ireland, island islands, yeah um. This is actually from ireland um and the shipping didn't even take too long to get here. So i'm really pleased about that as well um but yeah. I can't really say anything bad about this hair. To be honest, it's giving me inches, it's giving me vibes, i'm feeling like noni, so you guys should definitely get yours, um and yeah.
