Natural Hair Ponytail Using Darling Kinky Straight Pony

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, so today we are going to be doing a kinky straight wrap around ponytail and the hair is by darling. You can find this hair at walmart and it is 12.97. You cannot beat that for this um for the quality of this hair um. This is a sponsored pose. So i want you guys to keep that also in mind. Okay, so the hair that i'm going to be using is by um. This is 100 premium synthetic hair. Don'T put it close to fire? Basically, i saw a video today where the lady had like um. I think it was hair spray and then she lit the the lighter. I don't know why, but you know nowadays you can do anything for likes on social media. So moving on so this is what the hair looks like um i have the color 1b. It is synthetic hair, so it is tangled in the back. Let'S see if we can get this out here. Thank you. Okay, oh very easy to detangle, okay, okay! So back to the video it says it is long lasting, we'll see for ourselves, natural luster, protective style, premium, synthetic hair and again i have the color one b. You guys can see right there. So i really like the hair. Let me tell you guys why, when you do a slick bun with natural hair, at least mine, you see this pattern like in your hair, even though the hair is slick. So i like the fact that the hair is going to mimic my hair and you know, look like it's mine, even though um, even though we all know that my hair is not that long, but you know thank you, so you make it right. Yeah, yeah yeah! I'M going to go ahead and do my ponytail again. My hair is already blow dry, so i don't have to worry about that. So i'm gon na go ahead and part around the perimeters of my hair. I'M gon na do two separate ponytails just so i can get it as flat as i want, because i do have a lot of hair and even though it's dried, it's still very, very thick. So i'm gon na part around the perimeters of my hair, put the middle up and then gel down the front. So all i'm going to do is just braid that section out of the way, while i focus on the middle so that i don't get it um mixed up in there, so just either braid it out out of the way or use a scrunchie or something to Hold it okay, so now i'm going to go ahead and put the middle up, i'm not going to add any gel or anything to it, i'm just literally putting it up by itself. I didn't want to add any product because i didn't want to have to wash my hair right away when i took this ponytail down, so i'm just making sure it's as tight as i can possibly get it to be and then holding it with the scrunchie. So now that that part is done, i'm going to move on to the front i'm going to go ahead and, of course, unravel the braids and then just brush the whole thing up. So with everything brushed up now i'm going to go ahead and add my gel. You can use any gel, you want to use, it is totally up to you. I cannot mention the gel that i used, because this is a sponsored pose, but if you guys want to know you can simply comment um in the comment section below, and i will let you know so, i'm adding my gel. This is not a water-based gel. If i, if i was to use a water-based gel, my hair would basically just curl up to its natural um 4c. You know texture and we don't want that. So the gel that i'm using is not water-based. I'M gon na go ahead and brush it into a smooth, ponytail, okay, so once that is done, i'm gon na go ahead and just wrap my hair and make sure that everything is just laying down flat nice and flat okay. So this this is different um. I usually see the wrap as something that's like you know straight and then you wrap it, but it looks like a ponytail itself with the comb right here, um and then i guess this will be the part that you wrap around, i'm not sure, what's happening um. So i went ahead and i did three small braids and got it into a very little little little bun um. Originally i had like you know i was holding it up and i did a big twist and then that was it. So it was difficult for me to get the hair um on right, but once i went ahead and i did the small braids and made a little bun, it was very very easy for the hair to go on okay. So right now i'm just securing the comb inside my hair and then i'm going to put my hair um in the string. I guess in the back okay. So that was much easier. So, basically, if you have a lot of hair like i do just do a really tiny bun try and get your bun as small as possible and then um you know put the ponytail on. I will say that it was very easy to do so once you secure the comb in the front, you basically put the extra hair like the string that they have in the back. You just um put that under your hair. I don't know what i'm saying makes sense. So basically you take that and you put it underneath your hair kind of like what i have done here. That'S the strength right there, the string, sorry and you that goes underneath your bun, so okay, so once that is done, we're just gon na go ahead and wrap it. This looks so good. It looks so much better, i'm just going to wrap it around and then secure it with a bobby pin. Okay guys. So that said, the ponytail is on. It looks natural. It looks really good lesson of the day when you're trying to do something. Do it right and don't try to find the easy way around it, which was what i was trying to do in the beginning, but once i got my bun to be really really little, it was easy to just put the ponytail on um, so i'm gon na Leave the links, the name and everything in the description box below best of all, you can find this hair at walmart.
