Sleek Ponytail On Natural Hair | Curlsqueen Coarse Kinky Fro

Hey guys so today i'm going to be doing a review on a 20 inch, kinky curly ponytail from a brand called curls queen. They sell headband, wigs, ponytails and so much more. I personally picked out a ponytail since i've never tried one, so the ponytail actually comes in a really cute gold bag and it says curls queen on the front. You also get a matching bonnet. So it looks like that and you get a really cute detangling brush. So i got these two items with my ponytail: i'm gon na go ahead and show you guys what the ponytail looks like straight out of the bag. I haven't done anything to it, so this is what the hair looks like just like this, so you can see it's super duper defined. It'S very soft to the touch. It has a drawstring right here. It has two combs and i'm noticing that they're making ponytails a lot different. I don't remember it having such a huge um. I guess you can say opening here. I'M used to seeing them very tight, just a small opening for your hair, but this actually works really great, because i have a lot of hair, so this is gon na fit over my hair really really well. So, as you guys can probably see, my hair is already in a bun, but it's not sleek, so i actually need to go ahead and fix up my edges put some mousse, lay it down and get it really really smooth and flat. So basically, what i did was a wet, ponytail or wet bun. I do have a video on that i'll insert the footage for you guys it's a very simple process. It does take some time, but it is pretty easy. Keep it calm down. I give you what you need. What i'm left with is two braids in the back. This was the easiest way to get my hair to lay flat. So what i'm going to do is wrap my braids around, so i'm just going to take my braids, so i have these two braids here just going to take them and wrap them around and bobby pin them down. So i'm just gon na go in with some mousse. I have my mousse, i'm just going to go ahead and apply it to my hair. This is going to give me a really good hold and once that's on i'm going to go ahead and brush it in you kind of want to do this step really quickly, because your hair will start to revert, and i would not recommend doing this style very Often because of all the brushing that you have to do just want to touch up this area, because i have some really short pieces in the front. So i want to make sure that area is super super smooth and then i'm going to go in with a satin scarf. So this is what's going to give you the really smooth and shiny hair and make sure i have the shiny side out fold it into a triangle and put it on i'm going to leave this on for about 10 to 15 minutes tying it nice and tight, Not too tight, so you get a headache and that's it tuck that in and then we have our scarf on. So while this is setting i'm going to go ahead and start messing around with the ponytail, i want to lose some of that definition. I want to add some frizz. I want some volume, so that's what i'm going to go ahead and do all right guys. My hair should be ready. Let'S take a look, i did go in and do my edges all right, so my hair is nice and sleek. Look at that ooh, the waves okay, so here's looking good um! I didn't actually end up messing with the ponytail just because i felt like i wanted to see what it looks like on and then mess with it, so i'm gon na put it on now. So let me turn around for you guys, so i'm just gon na go ahead and put the combs in first one at the bottom and one at the top and then taking the drawstring. What i'm gon na do i'm gon na take some hair from the bottom and i'm gon na wrap it around the bun just to cover um the hair. First, before that, i'm gon na take the drawstring, i'm gon na wrap it around the ponytail and then just bobby, pin it or kind of stick it in actually i'll, just bobby, pin it in taking my bobby pin and just sticking it in okay. So that's it! Okay, just gon na take it and wrap it around all right and then taking another bobby pin right here. I'M gon na take the piece of hair that i wrapped around and i'm gon na um bobby, pin it in so i'm just gon na try to get it to the back of my head. So i'm feeling this this is cute, so i'm just gon na spread. It with my fingers, probably gon na, go in with a little bit of. I don't even know what to do. To be honest, i'm just spreading it with my fingers right now. It'S very soft. I like how soft it is, and it's not like crazy shiny, because my hair naturally isn't so that's really good. All right, you guys. I went ahead and put my scarf back on just because i felt like i needed to flatten it down a little bit more, so i did go in with the brush and i did like fluff out my hair a little bit more because i felt like it Was a little too defined like no one's here? Is that defined um? Even though i love really defined hair, but i felt like yeah, i need to make it a little bit more realistic, so i fluffed it a little bit more. I put in a little bit of product and i think it looks a lot better. So all right, so this is it from the front. I probably didn't fluff this side enough, that's the front, and then this is the side and see if that looks a little bit better. All right you guys. So this is what the ponytail is. Looking like it's nice and fluffy, not as defined there's a little bit more frizz, it makes it look more realistic. It'S very, very soft. I love that it's super soft. It has a two combs, so one at the top one at the bottom, and then a drawstring pulled really really tight. So that way, the ponytail really wraps around my bun and looks like it's coming out of my head. If that makes sense, so this is what it looks like a ponytail is perfect. It'S super easy to put on there's so many different lengths and different curl patterns to choose from definitely check them out i'll, have them linked down below for you guys and yeah.
