Hey you guys welcome back to my channel so, as you guys can tell by today's title and all that stuff, this is going to be a get ready, video, but not just a regular, get ready video, if you guys didn't know so in today's video, i'm going To be showing you guys how i do my drawstring ponytails, this video is sponsored by curl queens um. This looks so better and he has the um drawstring in there. Oh, my god, i'm wearing this one tonight period. Okay, so let's just go ahead and get into the oh, also i'm not doing it. It comes with a brush as well that it has curly queens on it and you can see yourself in a brush. It'S a mirror brush, so let's get into the wig because i'm so excited y'all like i have a curly one, and now i have a yaki straight one that'll kind of match. My texture, i think it'll match my texture. To be honest, like my hair is straight. She feels pretty thick y'all, she feels very nice. So let me just show you all the construction of this before we even get into styling my hair, so it comes with a clip at the top. Don'T look at my nails. I know i need to go get my nails filled in not too much on me um. It comes with a clip at the bottom and it also comes with an adjustable band right here like this. Now these i really love these type of wigs. You guys we're not wigs, but y'all, know what i meant to say. I really love these type of ponytails because you can really just get away with anything and today i'm thinking about doing a midway ponytail, because you can also braid this hair. If you wanted to i'm gon na show you all the little styles i'm gon na do with this hair, but but i'm still i'm talking too fast. Oh my god, i'm too excited i'm gon na show you all the hairstyles, i'm gon na do with this hair. So um, let me just um: go ahead and clean this little station up where i'm doing my hair at so i won't be having so much going on yo, let's get into my hair okay. So if you're new here, my name is eva and i recently baked chopped my hair like a month ago, two months ago, i don't know because i paired my hair - i'm not gon na probably eat, but every time you show your real hair. You tell the same story. Oh my god. I look so bad. You tell the same story about how you permed your hair. You did this. You did that now. I know i shouldn't um permit my hair in the first place, then i wouldn't be starting over our ball, but for this um hairstyle, i'm going to section my hair off, because my hair is on the shorter side of things i feel like. You should still section your hair off, even if your hair was longer, because when my hair was way longer than this, i would still section it off, but mainly i would section it off because it was so thick like it was thicker now yeah. So now i just have this in the back now, the shrinkage is definitely real and that's one thing like okay, heart of heart movement with the girls who have shrinkage. If you don't have shrinkage just this does not pertain to you, okay, okay. So what i was gon na say is um for the girls who have shrinkage like i felt like my hair was not growing like i just felt like it wasn't growing. That'S why i part my hair in long story short, my hair was growing. What did my face? Look like my hair was growing. It'S just. I couldn't tell because i had all that shrinkage, so it was like months and months was going by and i was like y'all. My hair is not growing, but i could definitely tell my hair from now, because i it was it used to be way shorter than it's. When i cut it off like when i cut it, it was so much shorter than this. Now i am doing this on freshly washed hair so and my hair was wet a little bit, she's, not soaking wet, but she is most definitely damp and right now i'm just getting the um base. Ponytail started like a. What do you call it? A practice? Ponytail really so i can um i'm just getting the mold. Basically, i want my ponytail to be. This is just what this is a mode but um yeah y'all. It was so much like. I don't know why. I don't know why i do things i do sometimes like i'm a very impulsive person. You guys, and sometimes i just be doing stuff for no reason like lori help me but um. I'M gon na go with my eco styler and i got this big tube of eco styler that i'm gon na be going in with to do my hair. If i can get the top off because my hands are like wet so um, i'm just have i'm just going to sit this up here. Um basically, like i said, mold the back of my ponytail and i got this from the dollar tree. Don'T ask why i look like this. It'S dirty. I need to get a new one, so yeah, so this is a little tutorial. Slash get ready with me, like, i said earlier, so that way, y'all can see how i style my hair, with my hair. Being very, very short, because i know some of you guys, probably like, oh my god, eva when you bought it two days ago and now like you got here, i mean exactly exactly like that's what that's what you're supposed to do? Let me tell y'all, so you want this to look so like sleek and that it looks real because i had to um what hairstyle was that i did a um, a heaven hairstyle and people thought that was my real hair and i was like, oh my god, Really, this looks real, but um hey, i'm gon na go in with some of my um edge booster as well, and just basically like sleek all this up. I don't want to feel like i'm talking too much because i know sometimes some people like, i know how i am when i watch youtube videos that i don't care for the talking, especially if i'm trying to see how you did something. I want to see how you did it and i don't care about any of that other stuff you're talking about, especially i'm, not a subscriber i'm that person that i still through somebody whole video just to get to work like let's get to it girl, let's get To it, but um, i'm gon na hush and just basically go ahead and brush this back into that pony the base ponytail right here and then i'm going with another ponytail holder. Now that i finally have my hair, you know what sleek and all that i don't think it's gon na get no sleeker than this. I went with my edges. I don't even know who this is. Who does this by hicks edge or something like that? I went in with this and um. I'M finna go with some of my sprint stuff that i bought recently. Oh my god, all this stuff sticks to my fingers, i'm going in with this right here y'all. This is a little sprint stuff and i feel like this is going to like really hold all this in place now. This is my first time using it like this, like i normally use that for my lace, oh my gosh, i swallowed it. Oh, my god, but until until i finish whatever cuz i'm gon na um tie this down y'all i'm gon na. Do my makeup always tie down because i need this to be like super late. So it's time to come. If you do my edges, i don't have no problems now if this stuff works really good because like if you have short hair well, none of the time most people that watch me. My hair videos normally have short hair because that's what i'm representing for the short hair girls because, like i said i'll, be tired of seeing tutorials like i before i was youtube y'all. I used to be on um youtube, searching up hairstyles for short hair. Why this girl hair coming out to her shoulders and they saying that short hair hair hair, be right here, tomorrow's home short hairstyles baby, that's not sure like what did you talk about and then, if they saying that short, then what is mine? What is mine? Okay, he's like oh, my god, where's my wig cap um, don't laugh at me, but if you want, if you want a little tip on how to get your slip bags even slicker, put one of these on this is the wig cap. Do not laugh at me. Y'All, do not laugh at me. Okay, i just want. I don't play when it comes to my sleek bags, especially when you have short hair. You want to make sure that all this is going to be laid. Even the back edges make sure you get that in there. Okay, now i'm gon na go off and do my um makeup and i'm gon na come back once my makeup is done and i have some clothes on, because this is just a bralette that i mean and we're not wearing this today. Okay, so this is how it looks once i take the scarf off and everything like that, my ponytail is small, but it's really growing. I went ahead and did the edges off camera to save you guys, the um? Let me i don't know why i do this. Like my edges were super fun, and this was like i got on camera, i thought it looked like they not right like it just like they're, not right but um. So these are how the edges are looking, and i also have the ponytail right here. I'M gon na go ahead and put some curls in my ponytail like some little ways in my ponytail, because i just feel like that'll look super cute too, but i'm just gon na show you guys how i put my ponytail on so i'm gon na turn to The side and show y'all how i do this, because this is very important, as you guys can see it's very slick, as you guys can see. Oh yeah, i just want to show the slickness. It'S very slick. Also. I will say this: if you have, how can i put if you have like silky hair? I'M not saying my hair is silky, but if you have a texture like mine, it's a little silky. You can do it wet. But if you do not have this type of texture, i would not do it with i hate with my hair with wet hair is hard to do like it's not dry, so whatever product i put in there doesn't really stick. So i really wouldn't encourage anybody to do some wet hair but um. Let me just go ahead and open it up with the adjustable thing right here. I'M just opening it up. You guys a little bit and we're just gon na go ahead and basically pop this. In there, so i place the first one at the top and i'm going to pin the bottom one under you wanted to make sure you're still comfortable at the same time. So i'm going to pull the um the string - i don't know if you guys can see this, but it's a string, and this is just going to tighten it. I like mines to be super tight. I need it to be super tight. So that's what i'm going for and what i'll do is wrap this around and bobby pin. I usually try to stick it back up inside the um, the ponytail, so i'm gon na do that because i have another um one of these type of um ponytails too, and i freaking love them so um, i'm gon na go through and calmness. Actually, i don't know straight is super cute, like with it straight. This is like super cute, y'all y'all can't tell me nothing. You must not know about me. You must not know about me. I may have enough that has not in a minute. Oh, my god, you must not know about me, like i switch my hairstyle up all the time. Okay, so now it's time to go in with a back little piece of hair, because this is what we're going to use to go around and wrap. So we can't see nothing up here, so you want to wrap it, wrap it and i'm going to pin mine, but i bobby pin my eyes and it should look something like this. I don't know if the camera is picking it up cause i'm recording off. My other camera - this is my vlogging camera, but hey i've seen people use it as a sit down camera. So that's what i'm gon na do and i have bobby pins over here which i'm just going to pin up, will pin down so i'm. So. I will know that this is not going anywhere, because i would hate to be that girl out in public and then i think my ponytail is secure and then you get out having fun and get lit and it you don't. You don't end up how it's supposed to be. You know. Actually i'm gon na just use just use one. I only need one. So this is how the ponytail looks straight. Like i said, 20 inches baby y'all see this 20 inches she's, pretty long, so um yeah. Now, what i'm going to do is go in and actually lay my hair back down with some um, my style factor because, like i said, my hair is wet, so it rolls up, but it's nothing just to go in and put some style factor on it. That'S why style factor is really one of my favorites and i always go in with it. On top of my hair, once my hair is styled some people in some like um, what is it some people in some of my other comments of my other videos? They like, even why are you going in with edge boost over your whole head the girls that you didn't get any girls that don't don't like i'll, be tired of explaining myself sometimes, but i am gon na go in. Actually, i'm gon na show you guys how to do a braid first and then i'm gon na show you other hairstyles like let's do a break real quick, oh y'all are raised to the fishtail braids. Those were so cute. Am i doing that right now? No because things take way too long but um, let me just show y'all real quick. How braid would look just y'all have some ideas of how y'all can wear this hairstyle, because this looks more realistic, like y'all, understand how i've been wanting to wear a braided ponytail. But i didn't want to have weave okay, because, like first of all, my hair is really short, and i don't know how to i do know how to do a braided ponytail with weave on my own, like with braiding hair on my real hair. But i just choose not to so yeah but um. I love a good braided ponytail. This is just giving like night out something simple something cute. It'S giving. I mean i look like a fashion nova model because, let's be for real excuse me, people aren't stashing over to do be looking like this, like they be styled. Just like this slick bag, middle parts and i'll just be like okay, so um, let me put a rubber band on this real quick, so i can show y'all guys how this looks and um give y'all a little 360 real, quick. Okay, the odd review is decided to come out. Okay, this braid is a little, not the perfect braid, but she's okay, so boom, as you guys, can see my don't mind my little curly hair, but i'm trying to show y'all up close as you guys can see. You can't see anything of this. All you see is the hair, i'm trying to touch it so much because, like i said, my hair is starting to come up, but this is the side view all this edge boost over here. This is the other side, and this is the back. I don't know if it went dark or not, but this is the back, and this is how this looks now. I want to go in and show y'all this with some waves, basically because um. This is what i'm using to like put the waves in there, because i do want a wavy look for some reason. The straight is most definitely vomit cute, but me personally, i just want a little curl at the bottom, like some cute little curls at the bottom. Then we can see if this hair takes heat good, because if this should take heat very well like curl, yes, it does. Oh, my god, curls queens, never um. I'Ve been working with them ever since, like the girl started, youtube channel really and they sent they've sent me clippings they've sent me they've, sent me a lot of good stuff. Y'All and one thing i will say: is they hair? Never disappoint me. Even when i'm styling it even where even when y'all, let me tell those stories, i'm even when i bought some when i bought, but even when they sent me some hair, and i don't have enough for the hairstyle. I still figured it out, but that's how you know that the hair is some good stuff cause y'all. I had did another big chop and they sent me some clippings and i was like y'all i'm gon na. Do these clippings. I ain't got no damn hell. I ain't gon na know how, but i figured it out. Okay, let me just go through and finish this real quick. So this is how it looks you guys after um, basically of me going in and just you know, um winding it now, i'm going with some sprints just a little bit, so it can hold the curls in there throughout the day. So um, oh my god, curls queen, you know how to make a girl feel beautiful again because i just put in a fault to where i don't want to do. Nothing like i thought i'd be looking ugly and then, like i get my hair done. A little makeup and everything is just like perfect again like oh, i love you guys so much.
