Uh, hey fairies, welcome back to my channel, it's therese, andrea! So in today's video i have finally teamed up with my girl nani. It'S been such a long time, but being that i am back on youtube, your girl is getting back into the natural hair videos with my girl nani. So in today's video we are doing something very, very interesting. We are doing the braided ponytail and i know y'all asked me before do a braided ponytail and i was you know i did record one just doing my basic little ponytail that i'd be doing on my head, but i decided to team up with my girl nani, Because nani does a specific type of ponytail and she calls them the fairy ponytail. Oh, how freaking accurate for me. It'S a fairy ponytail because she uses very affordable hair. The pack of hair that we use in this video is 10 hair, but she basically takes very affordable hair and creates masterpieces not just doing her average braid. But yet she is doing multiple braids in multiple designs into the ponytail to make it nice and chic and very expensive. Looking with super affordable hair, she went ahead and washed. My hair off camera moved on to blow drying my hair and then now we decided to do a zigzag parting and do pigtails just to make the video a little bit more spontaneous and a little bit more extra, because y'all know that's how we get down huh. Now we're moving on to nani's special sauce. Don'T even ask me what nani has in this bottle, but all i know is she decided to just do like little experiments on my hair she's coming out with her own product, so definitely stay tuned. For that, i will reach out to her and ask her when she knows when she's going to drop it. My girl is coming out with something special, because i do extend this video to have my ponytail in for a very long period of time for this purpose. To show just how good this product is, she did go ahead and put in her special sauce to do my ponytail and when i say, there's no hair out of place. Listen. My ponytail ended up looking like this for past five days. Okay, five days and my hair still looked exactly like this, but you guys will see that later on in the video she did go ahead to doing my edges, and this is also another product from nani. She does actually have this product in stock. This is a edge control. You already know when it comes to me. I don't really use edge controls and very heavy products on my edges, because my hair is very fine. Not only that my hair is super curly, so once it gets any type of product on these edges girl, my edges start curling up, but that does not happen with nani's product. All she did was go ahead and do my little swirl baby hair. She killed my baby hairs. Okay, then just went ahead to blow dry. My baby hairs down took some black wrap and just laid those hairs down even further. Now this is a part of the video that i want. You guys really to pay attention to because she did go ahead to use some braiding hair to braid. On top of my hair. Now i've done ponytails. I'Ve never really done this step before. But when i say nani got them grippers. Okay! In detroit, we call these hands grippers, because when i say that she got every single hair into this, braid listen when it comes to nanny. Her work is just so neat. She had me out here looking like dozier cat. Okay, then, she just went ahead to do the other side of the braid. She made two very skinny braids and then she just wrapped those around my ponytail and just sealed those off for rubber bands, but i'm just telling y'all when it comes to the way. Nani does hair even i'm, shocked and surprised. Looking back in the footage, because clearly, i was not paying attention to nothing that was going on. I was just like: where did you come up with these methods because girl, it's genius? I have seen a couple people do this method before i personally have never really did it because again, i don't really do ponytails, like that. I understand when people use black wrap because you want to protect your hair because she is using glue. This is the hair that is the ultimate freaking tea y'all. This is model model hair. I got it in a number two, because my hair is a natural color number two. She got it in 30 inches and i'm gon na link this hair down below it's from their garnier line. Oh my gosh, this hair was only 9.99 y'all with tax, maybe even 10.70, depending on where you stay. But when i tell y'all this is the most affordable hair. I have ever used. That'S very good, indian remy quality. I was like okay. I'Ve never seen this hair before you clearly found a gym because i've been missing out. This hair is so nice, it's so silky and, like i said, it's only 9.99 and you guys see later on in the video at the end of the video how long this hair still did last, because it was still in good shape. Even after five days with me, showering with it getting it wet in the rain and sleeping with it. So, as you guys can see, she's just wrapping the hair around the ponytail, putting a little bit of glue on the hair and just keep wrapping around over and over and over again until she gets to the top of the hair. So, just for the purpose of the video and any beginners out there and people - that's like me that don't really do their natural hair, like that, we just decided to go ahead and record the other side as well with better lighting. So you guys can see exactly what nani did now. This is a step i think everyone needs in their life, including me, because i always had no problem doing my ponytails, but when it came to me sealing off the top of the ponytail to make it look a lot more hairdressery and very fresh and very dead Up you know what i'm saying she went and had to take a very thin and, i said, thin piece of hair. She then moved on to spraying it with some gatsby spray and i believe, the trick that makes it be so that it is so nice and neat. Is she combs the hair through every single time, sprays the got to be spray on a little bit more and just keeps doing the same step over and over and over again until the hair starts to harden a little bit, it makes it easier for her to Wrap around and like i said when it comes to nani's work, i'm telling you nani is who nani is because her work is just so neat and just so precise every time. This is how the hair looks before we went ahead to braid it well actually nani. Before nanny went ahead to braid it and listen, i would have just went outside with my hair. Looking like this, because it looks perfect to me but again for the purpose of the video we wanted to show you guys other options and other things you can do we're not just having your hair in one simple, braid or just having the hair out, like you Guys saw any other clip now. Nani already went ahead to pre-name the fairy ponytail. She did not name it after me, y'all, but she calls it the fairy ponytail, because she basically does four to five different braid styles into one ponytail. The first bracelet that she does do is the ladder braid. I'M so sorry, you guys, because a part of this video and this side of the footage is not really in focus again. We did not really know about it until i started watching it back. You guys can pretty much just get the gist about how she's doing this braid and if not, you can definitely go ahead and look at other tutorials on youtube, because every single break that nanny does in this video is definitely going to be a video out there. On youtube, also, every single braid that nani does do i'm going to make sure that i put a title or the name of the braid inside the video. Just in case, you guys really want to see a detailed video for every single braid. That nani does the next style that nani moves on to do it's actually not really a braid. It is called a balloon ponytail. You guys can create this by taking another rubber band and putting it. However, big you want your balloon to really be and then just go ahead and take the end of a fishtail comb and just pull out different sections of the hair until it starts to create and form a balloon. Like you guys see in the video, the next style of braid that none is going to do is called a pull through braid. I'Ve actually never really heard of this braid before until i started to see nani. Do it in this video, as well as her other clients on her instagram by the way, make sure you guys go ahead and follow nani on instagram i'll make sure i put her link inside of this video and also down below, for you guys to go and Follow my girl so again i've never really heard of a pull through braid. But one thing i can say is this: braid is so freaking pretty. It is really hard for me to explain. I'Ve tried explaining this on video so many times, but basically it's better to see instead of me to tell you guys really just take a rubber band and just pull two sections around the hair put another rubber band there and then just keep doing the same thing Over and over again, i know it sounds kind of crazy when i'm saying it on the voiceover, but, like i said this is more of a visual technique than it is for me to explain the next two sections of this braid. Again, we're going to keep going because this hair is 30 inches, so nani was able to do so many different styles of different braids and techniques in this hair. That'S why we prefer you guys to get longer hair so that you are able to do as many styles as you would like in your braid ponytail nanny just goes ahead to do two more styles of the balloon, ponytail method and again i'm so happy. We got this footage on camera because, if you guys are having issues where you're getting to the end of the hair - and you guys start to have those split ends which usually occurs with cheaper hair, just make sure you guys are cutting any flyaways to make it Look a lot more neat and just keep going and going and going nani did end up doing a fishtail braid at the end of the braid, but we were not in focus for that. So i just ended up not even putting it in the video, but i will tell you guys the exact name of the braid. So if anyone wants to see, definitely go and look up a youtube video, because i know it's one out there - we just sealed off this look by using some bobos. I don't know what you guys call them, but in detroit we call these bobos they're. Just little bows that, like little young women or girls just use in their hair, i decided to have a certain look that i wanted and i just wanted bobos. I just knew that for a fact, because my pictures that i did end up taking the bobo's was needed, and it was definitely a must okay um. So now i just ended up just finishing off this entire look by just taking off the black wrap that she's had on my edges this entire time and i can say, gorilla curly swoop. My edges look so tf good. Okay, this entire style is so bomb. So happy that nani decided to do the fairy ponytails in my head with this super, affordable and cheap hair, because it just gives you guys a better option to do other styles than just take some cheap hair and do a braid or leave it out. Just like regular, definitely if you guys want to start seeing more tutorials like this. Definitely let me know down below because me and nanny will come up with more and more styles, for you guys to do for your natural hair. So this is definitely day. Five, like i told you guys before, and my hair has not moved. Okay, i'm just going to go ahead to do my edges. This is the only thing that has really pretty much came up or got a little bit crazy because, like i said my edges are just my hair in general, it's naturally curly. So when i wash my hair or shower it's the only thing that really moves. I do put a bonnet on my head every single night as well as an edge scarf. It didn't really do much for my edges, but i can definitely say the beginning of my hair, where nani had put her special sauce. My hair, like i said, did not move, and this is definitely day. Five. Not only did my hair not move, but my ponytail did not get all jagged and ragged either. So for this being 9.99 hair girl, i really advise y'all to go ahead out and get it because it's definitely worth it for to only be ten dollars. Okay, as well as go ahead and check out nani's edge control. I would definitely make sure that i drop her product when she finally releases it because, like i said this does not move my hair at all. If you guys want to start seeing more videos like this, where me and nanny are just coming up with different methods and different techniques, for you guys to do on your natural hair that are super cheap and super affordable, let me know down below as well as Thumbs up this video, i love y'all can't wait to see y'all in my next one and bye guys.
