Hi guys and welcome to my youtube channel, if you want to see how i look from this to this then continue watching today, we'll be doing the diera um inspired hairstyle the braided ponytail um. I tried to do it with no heat, so i've done the baby hairs you'll see in the video, but the way i've done the baby hairs. I try to do it where it's like looks like it's there's heat, but there is no heat in it but yeah. I struggled with this hairstyle and i was very upset because i feel like i can do everything in my hair, but i struggle, but i don't know if i struggled because i was recording or i was just struggling, so i'm a bit annoyed. I was a bit annoyed about it and i'm hoping this video actually came out well well. If this gets put up, then it must have been decent enough to put up but yeah without further ado, let's get into the video, so i'm gon na start by spraying. My hair with some water just to get a bit damp, my hair's a bit dirty, so i thought, if i sprint, if i get it a bit damp, it will flatten much better and then with the denim brush. I'M just slicking it in this is basically like the base just getting it that flat look before adding any gel, so it doesn't have to be perfect at this point now, i'm going to add a hair put a hairband in get it tight, reasonably tight, then i'll, Be using the eye gel, which is similar to nixon gel now this bit is where you start getting it very slick, just applying it evenly around your hair, make sure you apply a numerous amount and don't forget to leave out the baby hairs, i'm actually going to Try and do baby hairs in the middle of my head. Well, technically, the it's not really baby hairs in the middle of my head. It'S actually adult hair because i don't have baby hairs in the middle of my head, but i'm actually going to attempt that in this video now with the hard brush, i'm going to slick everything down, make sure you get it very, very, very slick, slick into place. With the icy spritz i'm going to spritz my hair into place now you can use got to be spray, but i am not leaving this in for long as my hair is actually very dirty. So this ain't staining for long now, i'm going to use the blow dryer to mold everything into place now, with desire edge control, that'll be launching on the 23rd of april. I can finally say i'm just going to put down any flower flyaways that i see just slick it down and i'm gon na also slick my baby hairs. Now i'm actually attempting the middle to do a baby hair in the middle of my head, but my hair is long like it's actually adult hair. So don't laugh at me all right guys because i don't usually do this, but i thought i saw diera's one and i was thinking she does it like everywhere, south freaking. Let me try it too, and also the way i'm gon na do the baby hairs. It doesn't have to be perfect because if you see dier is one it's, the baby hairs is straightened, obviously, but obviously because i'm trying to do it as a no heat type of method. I thought. Okay, if i just slip the baby hair down and then dry it for it and leave it to dry for a bit, then i'm gon na like flick up the baby hairs which you'll see further in the video. But i'm gon na, like flick up the baby hairs just to give that illusion that it's been straightened, but it actually hasn't and i've just flicked it up so yeah, i'm just playing around to be fair. I'M literally like playing around with the baby hairs molding it into a nice style and, like you can see here, i don't tie it on the actual like swirly bit, because the swirly bits is what's going to be flicked up a bit. So it gives that, like. I said the straightened illusion, so i've added an elastic band to the expression and i'm going to tie my hair, but i'm going to do it where my hair is on top of the expression, because i tried this already and it just was not working now. Oh wait here, i'm just leaving out a piece but yeah i've tried this already and i struggled so i had to do it all again. So i'm go. I just thought. Let me try this method where my hair's, on top, so i'm going to section my hair into three parts and start braiding underneath make sure it's, even when you section into free, because that also was my problem, because i can't see the back of my head properly And try and grip your hair very, very tight, very, very tight. I'M definitely going to do this video again, though, because i'm going to use another method and then, with your index, fingers like doing knotless braids you're gon na hook your an extra hair onto your index finger and continue braiding. Now this is to help keep it. The same thickness, all the way through and you're going to do it again hook it with your index finger and continue braiding with your left section and middle section, you're gon na do it in between it's basically like doing the jumbo braids, but just as a ponytail And then you're gon na braid all the way down. I wanted mine quite long so and then now with the extra piece, i'm gon na wrap um smooth out any knots and then start wrapping my hair around but make sure you're doing it very tightly very tight and firm. And i think i actually use gel to get rid of any flyaways. I don't use the spritz, as i don't want this in my hair for too long so, but for those that does want it in for long, i would say: i've used got to be to spray and mold and hope for it to hold into place or yeah. As you can see, i'm a bit fed up now because it wasn't to my standards, so i was getting quite upset and voila. I start neatening everything up and all these little flyaways that you're, seeing or things that are sticking out just start neatening it putting it in just molding everything into place. I do end up leaving one piece out which annoys me in my intro, but it is what it is, but yeah just try and fix everything up and yeah. I feel like i've done a reasonable job. I guess i hope you enjoyed the video, and this is how i've achieved the look and that's it guys. I hope you enjoyed this video. Yes, i did struggle with this hairstyle. Let me do a little 360 on set, so here it is. I don't know if, when i'm standing boy, i struggled this hairstyle. I always think i'm not good at everything but like when it comes to my hair. When it comes to my hair or doing anything with my hair, i think i could do everything in my hair like because obviously i can do this hairstyles on somebody else so easily, but on myself i was struggling struggling but anyways. I hope you enjoyed this video and don't forget to like comment and subscribe and also follow at desire edge control if you liked, if you like, the way it works or what i've been using um. I should know what i should know when it's launching by the time i put up this video but yeah. If you can see, i try to like flick things up, so it gives that still messy look without me having to curl it with straighteners so heat three. It'S a heat-free hairstyle. This is the way i done it um, but yeah don't forget to like comment and subscribe. Oh i'm taking
