Sleek Ponytail On Freshly Washed Natural Hair (Short To Medium Length) Type 4A/4B/4C

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so I finally had a huge milestone in my natural hair journey and I can finally put my hair in a ponytail without doing like multiple, multiple sections so yeah. I can outer plane tell with these I'm like I'm, making baby steps, I'm getting there home, sir. I'M just drenching my hair a little bit with water, I'm just because it's dried up and my hair is freshly washed and I'm going to be applying my leaving cream and then leaving I'm using is the TJ and thick moisturizing leave-in, something like a green tea, leaving Yeah, which is quite nicely even it's quite light and yeah - I'm gon na, be applying that in several sections, just to make sure that my hair is evenly coats. It and often I've done that. I'M going to be applying some Jamaican black, castor oil, especially to the end of my hair, because you know it's called and I like to wear my hair in a ponytail for the whole week. So I want to make sure that everything's moisturized, so it doesn't get dry over the week and then I'm going to repeat the same steps for the section of hair. Okay. So now that everything has been applied, I'm gon na go ahead and start adding my curling cream. To be fair, you could add your curling cream when you're adding your you'll leave in, but this is how I like to do it so yeah, I'm adding the curling cream in the same way that I kind of applied my leave-in and the kind of cream i'm Using is the eden bodywork skull, defining cream, which I absolutely love, because it's very very it's very creamy, it's very moisturizing and it keeps my hair moisturized all week. So I'd highly recommend that so now that that back section is done, I'm just gon na brush my hair down and put it into a ponytail and, as you see, I'm not really detangling my hair and that's because I already did tangled it when I applied my Deep conditioner, so you know I don't want to go through my hair too too much um, so yeah, I'm just putting my hair in a little ponytail here all right and then starting on the front section, I'm just literally going to pull it back and add it To that ponytail I just made so I'm just literally brushing the hair down making sure it's laying flat before I add it to the ponytail. I also like to add a little bit of gel to the front sections of my hair and the one I'm using is the Miele organics, honey and ginger styling gel, and I prefer this gel over like jaws, like eco styler. All you know got to be because it has a much softer hold and yeah. I like the ingredients, that's in the gel as well so yeah. I thought on that. I just can I'm just going to add the that section into the ponytail all right so now that everything's packed back nicely, I'm just gon na go ahead with the brush and brush down my hair, and I don't know if you can see, but it kind of Looks like the hairs flaking or the gel and the products are flaking, but they do dry really nicely. I'M then going to just like pull my hair or the planet a little bit just to elongate it, and it kind of looks like I have a little bit of heat damage at the bottom. But the back texture of my hair is like really fine, so or not, really fine really loose. So it looks like I have heat damaged, but that's yeah. It'S just a loose texture, so it hangs lower and then I'm gon na go ahead and just do some baby hairs and stuff. But, as I said, the gel I'm using has a very light hold. So the baby hairs aren't really that slicked down. If you know what I mean yeah, and so this is basically it as you can see. My hair is different lengths in this little ponytail, but it does shrink up and it all becomes like one cute little puff later on so yeah, not really too fast about that and after the ponytail is done. You want to just use a satin scarf or silk bonnet or whatever you have just to tie down your hair, so everything is nice and flat, and this is a few hours after looking like, I came straight from the Pirates of the Caribbean but um. This is what my hair looks like. As you can see, you know the gel dries clear. The product strike clear and yeah. Everything looks just really like nice flats, packed nice lean, meats and yeah.
