Summer Hair Slayage: Irresistible Me Ponytail Extensions

Hey everybody welcome back to my channel Alex here. Thank you guys so much for joining me today and I'm happy you guys are here because I'm in a little bit of a dilemma and I'm like I need you guys to like just sit here and just watch me do this because it's hot y'all, it's like 97 degrees - and I welcome this morning thinking I have no clue what to do with my hair. Okay, I just had the curly hair and I took that out. It'S on a wig, but I took it off because I needed to wash my hair and I'm like. I want to wear my hair, but it is way too hot - it's too hot to do this and I'm like what, if I put it up in a ponytail and most definitely I looked in my stash and I was like. I cannot believe I have this sitting here, so I wanted to share with you guys it's by irresistible me and it is the irresistible me ponytail extensions. I have their clippings and a couple of other products from them they're a great brand. They have a ton of awesome products for your hair, but I'm like I have these clip ins and it's a ponytail and I definitely have to get my hair up and off of my neck for this summer heat. So I said I'm gon na come here today. I'M gon na share with you guys how I put my hair up in a ponytail using the irresistible meet ponytail extensions. Now let me share everything comes before we jump right into all this, so we're coming the beautiful irresistible me box and their extensions are always packaged. Really nicely it's sealed so that you know no one tampered with and once you you know, break that seal. You know you got ta use it. The labels and everything in terms of what it is that I have. I have the pony in a 1 B and the length is a length of 16 inches, so the colors are 1b. I'M going to go ahead and take it out and show you what it looks like beautiful, beautiful, hair guys. This is some gorgeous hair and I love how their ponytail is basically satin wrapped. Those of us that have natural hair know that satin is just perfect because it helps us in terms of you know the breakage and stuff. You don't want any breakage. So having that satin line, even though it's a beautiful aesthetic to look at it's also great, you know protecting the hair. So I like about this ponytail is the fact that you guys know we can make ponytails right. Just take you some tracks and start twirling it around your hair. I don't have time for that stuff. Oh, I love the fact that it's already like it has a bow on it. You could take the bow off and everything's already in here. There is a clip. So that you can clip it on and it's secure, it does not move. All of the tracks are already sewn down on a mesh like materials. So all this up to here is actual track, so once you put the ponytail on it gives it some height gives it some structure and make sure that you know you don't have any tracks or anything showing now. I did get some shedding with this hair. I will tell you that right now I got about let's say about six strands when I was just playing with it and loosening up the hair a little bit just to see you know if I get any snags or anything there's a little bit of snagging, but There is some shedding so do be mindful of that, but the hair is soft. The hair has body the hair, it's flowy, so we're just gon na get right in and go ahead and install this, and I know something you were looking at me like Alex hair is natural. That'S not gon na work, but I'm gon na show you how to slick down all of this curliness and make sure that this matches. So let's jump right in so. The first thing I want to do is I'm starting off with hair. That is freshly washed, making sure that there are no tangles and I'm definitely gon na, go ahead and grab the spray bottles, because that makes sure that my hair is moisturize. I'M gon na take my Denman brush, I'm going to brush my hair up like so, and this just makes sure that if any of my curls are clumped together that they're no longer clump together, so once I've done all the brushing I'm going to go ahead and Take my favorite gel this is the eco styler gel, so what I'm going to do is I'm gon na go back up alright. Now, depending on where you want your ponytail to go, I like to pull my hair a little bit forward just a little bit, because I want the ponytail to legit sit on the top of my head. So I just pull everything a little bit forward. Then I take a scoop full of the gel not too much and I go ahead and I put that around my perimeter. I'M not soaking my hair in this gel, I'm just putting it around the perimeter just to make sure that my edges and my curls stay as lean as possible, but I've got all of it brushed up and I'm holding it. I take my little pony tail holder and I proceed so go ahead and put my hand points out. You can do this as tight as you want. I just go twice because I don't want it to tidy once that's done. Pony tail is up and in I go ahead and I split the hair up top into two all right. Normally, you try to make a little bun. I have too much hair for that. So I have to split my hair into two and I have to go ahead and make two twists as tight as I possibly can. I can't make one twist because if I made one twist then it would be way too. Once these tutors have been made, I'm going to wrap them again as tight as I possibly can into little buns. What the little bun is made I like to go in with my cream of nature. This is their argan oil from Morocco style and shine a foaming mousse. So what I like to do with that is take just a few pumps of it and go ahead around my edges again, because my hair is natural, I am way more prone to frizz and things loosening up, but what this does is this gives me the extra Hold that I need, even if no one sees your hair in the back they're gon na see around the front, so the front at least needs to be on points together. I'M saying I would go ahead and take my cream of nature. Argan oil, perfect edges and a little toothbrush, that's only designated for my hair. I do not brush my teeth of this and I would actually go in and pull out my little baby hairs. Just pull them out. Don'T follow too much. I'Ve seen people pull out like the biggest strands. It'S like that's, not baby hair at all, like that's like short hair, so just pull them out, make your curves make your dips. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take the ponytail. It has a comb right in the front, so I'm going to take that comb and I'm going to tuck that comb right into the little buns we made right and then I'm going to take that satin scarf. The satin ties to the side and I'm going to tight. Okay, we are tying the satin scarf, so just those two ribbons we're gon na go ahead and tie those in the back. Now you can bring them forward and do all that stuff. But I just I just want to make sure everything is held down in the back and then I'm gon na bring it forward again. Crisscross it making sure nothing's like you know how some things can look on uniform everything is tied, and then I split my hair back and I've got my ponytail and this ponytail is not going nowhere. You know where it's gorgeous, it's beautiful, all right and there we have it see that guys easy peasy ponytail. This is the cutest thing ever it's light weight. I didn't have to take a whole track and curl and pan and curl and pin that can make the hair bulky. So I like the fact that they have everything attached to that mesh. It stands up on its own because of that mesh like it's just like the mesh is legit just falling over the little bun that I made. So that's what's giving me all this height and all of this volume at the top and then the satin just just makes everything so cute. You can always go ahead and pull hair and then just wrap it around. If you don't want the satin to show, but I don't mind the satin showing I think it's cute, I think it's adorable and we have the cutest ponytail of life yeah. I think the irresistible me ponytail, hair extensions - are the perfect way to go.
