How To: Style Your Locs With A High Ponytail & Bangs

Hey y'all, i'm porsche, welcome back to my channel and today we're doing a hairstyle tutorial baby, so high pony bangs and a couple of beads and little pizzazz. So if you want to know how i got this style, just keep watching okay, so the first thing we're going to do is spray our hair. So i like to take a little trouble size, spray bottle and just add some water to it. It ain't got to be enough: fancy baby, it ain't got to be from fijian, nowhere, so i'll take some water and then i'm using some new girl oil. So i like to put about seven drops of oil in there. I don't know that was probably about 19, but who count and then we're going to shake it up and normally i i really do spray my hair, maybe every day with just all the water, that's how i get through okay in colorado. So that's what we're gon na do we're gon na spray and i got a little mirror. So you see me, look off that's what i'm doing. Okay, so we're just gon na spray, our hair really good with this mixture and i plan to use edge control. So when i'm using edge control, i want to make sure that i have um that i make sure that my edges are like really saturated that way they won't turn white. So that's what we're gon na do, because we're gon na use a little edge control. So it's nice and all and hydrated or whatever so next we're going to section off our part 5 bane. So, however, you want to do that and i'm like eight weeks, post, retwist, so babe i got to find what's going on in here. Okay, so these are gon na, be my two veins, so i'm just gon na take a rubber band to section this little piece off the hole it okay, so we got our veins so that next is just a high pony. It'S really really simple! So i'm gon na spray, my hair, some more because honey i like to have mine saturated. We got the all the water. This thing up, it's the jungle in here, so i bang this section off. So next is the high pony. So i do have my brush because at this point i don't really have no twisting in the front. So i brush my hair, so we're just going to pull it all up and a high pony - and i like to take my fingers as well to make sure that it's nice and smooth and everything coming together and, like i said i have a mirror that i'm Looking at so just so, y'all know that so that's what we do fall in water see what the oil and water can do. Take nothing into something really really quick. Okay, so we're gon na grab all the hair first, so i can know, what's going on, i'm just taking my fingers and just rubbing it through. So i can get everything in the pony and i actually reached a little mouse during the day because i didn't have to use bobby pins to hold the back of my hair up. So that's a win for your girl for today, all the water, all the water. Okay, so you want to take a really big scrunchie like this. I'M just going to smooth out the back, make sure that back is nice and smooth okay, so we're gon na bring our ponytail to the top grab us orangey and i'm gon na. Take it around twice because the scrunchie is really big. So it's not it's not gon na be too tight. So that's our high pony and then i just like to just pull the hair out like this. Let me move y'all up a little bit. Y'All can really see all right, so we got a high pony and that's what i do. I just fluff it out like this. Let'S pull the pieces through and then this is the back, no clue what it looks like, but y'all do i'm just brushing my little kitchen y'all, make sure i keep you good and then this is what our size looking like. Okay, so one way i like to hold my edges without using like a lot of edge control, because right now, they're puffy uh, like this little piece of all. This is sticking out. I just like to smooth it over and then i add on these little clips to hold it down that way. You don't have to use a lot of product and then this is going to cover anyway and they match color, my hair so blends in we're going to do the same thing over here, just brush it up. Then we're going to add a clip on that side. As well all right, so we got a high pony, okay, so we're gon na. Do our edges right, quick! So of course my favorite is the design essentials max hole edge control, so i'm just going to dip my brush in there. There may be no difference now. I don't specialize in them, but i do a little some. Some i'm gon na grab a little bit more the same sim. This will get a little a little some. So then, i like to take out a little piece of my uh, my hair down here and then we i just like just twirl around my fingers and do a little curl or some chow. Whatever do we do so take that little piece on that side and then we're going to do the same thing on this side. Well lit edges over here, brush them down like that. Like i said, i don't specialize, but we're gon na do a little sum. Then we're going to do the same thing. Take a little piece out over here on the side. Take a little finger like that all right. Okay, so we got a high puff, we're gon na take our bangs down and just myself honey, okay. So these are banes. Now, whatever way you want to weigh them, if your hair goes to the left, maybe go to the right or if you want to just do the center, so the style i had today was just the center band. So i just took the locks like this and yes, my roots are are rudy, but we just take it like this. I'M just gon na do two pieces on the side we got our high puff, like i said, just uh pull the pieces up and out and that that'll give you the fluff that you need. That'S all. I did just puff it out and then next we're gon na add our beads. So i got these for my local supplies. Um beauty, supply store and all you need is a hairpin and i'm going to show you how to do it. So you just choose whatever lock you want to put your beads on um. Let'S see um, i put them on this one. So this is what you want to do. So you just take your hair pan just like this, and then you stick your hair pin through the end of your lock like that, and then you take the hair b and you stick the hair pin in there and the lock. And then you pull the lock up like that. So i'ma add two. So just like this same hairpin right, there add another bead hairpin inside the hole slide up and then you just bow pull it out like so like that, like tap to say, honey boom. So then, let's do the other side real simple, like so, for this side, um, let's do, let's do maybe this one, it really don't matter so again it i'm just going to take the end of the lock put the hair pin through there just like this about And we're going to take the bead put the hairpin through the hole trying to see two and then you just pull it up just like that, so we're gon na add one more. Oh i'm adjust this hair panda, put it back at the bottom back through the hole just like that and then pull it up and then boom take the hairpin back out so and then, of course, you can play with them the way that you want to slide Them up just like this, they move and they easily just slide boop right back off. So this is the hairstyle real simple, like real, easy all the water little edge control honey. Are you gon na be good?
