Protective Styling | Faux Curly Bun + Curly Bang/Hump | Using Drawstring Ponytail

Hey cuties, so welcome back to my channel, as you guys can tell this is another protective style video. So let's get right into it. Okay, so the first thing that I am doing here is section off my hair. I created a little box in the middle of my head to go ahead and do exactly like you see me doing now. Okay, so we have to moisturize our hair before we get into protective styling. So what I'm using today is uncle Funky's daughter, moisturizing cream, along with Island twist jamaican black castor oil in the mango papaya scent make sure that my hair gets in one properly. I have to mist it with some water, so this is what you see me doing. Hair and then I go in with some gel just to make sure it is extra slicked down in the last video I shared with you guys that I'd like to go in with two tools, so I go with my brush and then I go in with my Comb to make sure there are no knots now that my hair is nice and flat. Now we're just gon na go ahead and use our big elastic band. I love this elastic band. They are definitely key when it comes to having a nice ponytail. Yes cuties. I am using the same ponytail that I use in the previous video, so yep get your drawstring ponytail out so now we're just gon na go ahead and moisturize and define the curls in the front. So what I did was, I just missed it down with a lot of water and I added some gel and that's all I did to define my curls in the front. So yes cuties, it is the next day my curls all dried and I'm able to finish my style today. So what you see me doing here is trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to do in the front of my hair, because the color in the hair was in blended, like how I thought it was. My color in my hair was already faded, so I decided to just go ahead and do a little Humpty hump to make it look much more blendable, because the ponytail is much more vibrant than what my actual hair color is right now at the moment. Okay, so on to our bun, what I did was wrap all of the hair to one side, and then I just twisted it together, like I was twisting a'right. So after that was done, I just went ahead and circled the whole thing around itself that ice. How I created this bun with this curly ponytail and then I just went ahead in with some bobby pins, two bobby pin it all in place so yeah cuties. That is how I achieve this nice sexy sleek chic. Look. This style is perfect for all occasions. It'S perfect for weddings, it's perfect for photoshoots, it's just one of those styles that just make you look so put together, but you didn't even work that hard to achieve.
