Swoop Bang With Half Up Half Down Ponytail Tutorial

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. I should know my name is Katrina, so in this video, I'm gon na be showing you guys how to do this swoop. Bangs pretty easy to achieve specially with the tips that I'm gon na give you. I have like ariana grande. Why was going on right now, if you haven't already, I really should be. I said, hit the like button subscribe to my channel and hit the location button. So he's know if I write a book. So if you want to see, I got this valve, ok botch of it. Ok, so you want to start off by sectioning your part, so you want to figure out which part your section, your hair, I usually section on my right and if you see me kind of looking over here, it's cuz, I'm filming on my phone. So it's I mean I wear glasses. I can't really see - and I have a mirror right here, so I can actually see what I'm doing just keep playing around with it. Even how you like, I recommend using a comb like this, just because you can get like a really sharp line, but whatever you want to use. So what I like to do next is section off the swoop, so I made the part pretty far back, but you don't have to take all that hair just because, when you kind of try to pull it, it's hard to keep it from getting messy. So I'm gon na go I'm gon na go about this far back and when I section it out, I'm pretty much gon na section it over to as far as my eye that makes sense see we're just gon na twist it if you tie it. So it's out the way I'm actually gon na put this in a bun, because you can't see me the next step is totally up to you. You can do whatever you want. If you want to do a ponytail, if you want to do a bun up to you, I'm gon na be doing half-up half-down. You definitely want to have some kind of like gel or pomade for this style. I'M gon na be using the ample post out. Y'All. Can take a little bit of my hand, I'm gon na start doing my half time pony tail. You definitely want to get a brush, so you can really smooth back your hair and just grab a hair tie or elastic or whatever you use, and to your point, I'm actually just gon na take a little. This pomade, I'm gon na bring down all right. So, for the actual swoop, I feel like, depending on your hair texture, almost going to determine how you're gon na style it um. If you have curly hair, you probably might want to use some more just because it makes the hair more controlled um. If your hair straight, you can just use gel or pomade, even if you use water, you can still use gel, I'm just saying I'm curly hair. You might need to spray a little bit of water just so you can kind of smooth it out a little bit easier if you go into the gel, I'm just gon na start definitely have some bobby pins, ready um. I usually use like the dark ones, but I can't find them so I'm gon na be using these take a brush or a comb or whatever you want to use and just kind of brush it down. I'M just gon na be taking gel as I go, but this definitely takes a couple tries, but you just want to keep smoothing it out, but once you have it, how you like it, take your bobby pins and just pin it in place where the bobby pins I'D like to do one coming from down here and one coming from the top: I'm gon na take a toothbrush and dip it into the gel and just scroll that out. I do the same thing on this side, so this is the finished. Look um, half-up half-down. Definitely has like ariana grande vice again, you can do whatever you want to do to the back in great new ponytail. You can do a bun.
