Bald To Baddie Hair Transformation | Afro Drawstring Ponytail On Short Hair

This guy, so in today's video I am here to share with you guys how I got this gorgeous gorgeous puffs, I'm going to be going from Baldy to Betty okay, so yeah. If you guys, are interested there. Definitely people watch okay. He was so jumping right in I'm gon na start off by moisturizing, my hair and I'm using this whole blends oil. This one is the cocoa or shea butter one you can find it at your local drugstore, but yeah. I really like to moisturize my hair, because my hair is really thick and coarse and dry, although it is short now now, I'm gon na use the M pro pro style jail. This is like a throwback for me. This is a choice to use all the time and it pretty much laid my hair down like I liked it. So I kind of kick it. Kicked it back and went to old school what I used to use so yeah, and I really like it. It works pretty well for my hair, so yeah, so I'm just taking a heart brush and I'm also sectioning the hair just so I can get it as flat as possible because, although I'm text likes now, my hair shorter is still like kind of thick. So I wanted the ponytail to be as flat as it can, even though it's not like super flat and then but it's as flat as I was gon na, be able to get it. So now I'm separating my edges from my hair so that I don't get any gel on them, because I do plan to use another product just specifically for edges on my hair later. So that's why I wanted to go ahead and separate them. But now I'm gon na go ahead and continue to apply the gel so that I could move down my hair and get it as flat, as I possibly can so now that I'm done with that, I'm gon na go in with this mc7 edge tamer. This stuff is so bomb you guys, you guys will see it right now, but I'm just gon na go ahead and apply it to my edges and then I'm going to start like styling them, and today I'm gon na be using a spoolie to go ahead and Brush my edges into place, I'm just because my edge brushes were dirty and I didn't feel like getting up to wash them like. While I was in the midst of filming, so I'm just using a clean, throw a spoolie so that yeah that's pretty much. What I'm using it works the same if you can't get it to like it, be precise like when you're like swooping it, you could just use the edge of a rat tail comb, but I just keep going back and forth until I can get it. How I want it, but yeah, that's just a tip for you can brush them in place and then you know swoop it with the rat tail comb it. This is just not working for you or it's just taking too long, but yeah. I'M just sweeping my edges. You know how I would like to swoop them. You can do this. However, you would like to. This is just my personal preference and after I've done, I'm going to tighten them down just so that they can set a little bit. I did let them set for about 10 minutes before I had to go ahead and take the scarf off so that I can apply the ponytail. This is the pony, so I'm gon na be using today it's by Janet collection. It is their afro perm long string and that's what it's called and I have an uncommon umber one. So here is the cap. Construction or the ponytail construction has the two combs and the. What is that the elastic adjustable band so that, of course, you can make your ponytail like very, very tight so that you don't have to worry about it falling off or anything but yeah? This is really really simple. You put the combs in the front in the back and then you adjust the adjustable straps to its high setting so that it doesn't come off. So it's very self-explanatory and I know you guys are able to see like when I you know put it on, but I just like to try to explain the best I can but yeah that's pretty much it. These are the final results and, of course, I'll finish out my closing thoughts on this ponytail, as well as the edge can Oh, Oh Katie was so now that you guys have seen the tutorial on how I got my hair like this and everything I did want To review the ponytail and then I also wanted to review this edge control, so let's just jump right in so this is a ponytail by Janet collection, it's from their noir collection. This is the afro perm L string and I have it in the color number one. Normally I get a one B, but a one B was not available and the one looks very perfect, I'm actually questioning whether or not actually getting one me because it matches very perfectly so yeah, but I really like this unit or this unit. I really like this ponytail because it is just so natural looking if you guys did not catch on Instagram or just me talking about it on my channel. I think on first we talked about it last year, but I did cut my hair down to 10 inches, which is like right here, and I am tech slacks now which really doesn't make a difference, because my shrinkage is still like really really horrible and my hair Is still like thick, it's definitely a little bit more manageable and a little bit thinner than it was before. But I don't know I was like. I don't know what I'm gon na do with my hair, because I want to let my hair breathe, like maybe like once every three months or something like that. So I was like you know what like. I need a protective style, so I did ask Instagram and thank you all to all the you guys on Instagram who did go ahead and give me feedback. Most people said a ponytail, so I went ahead and picked up some ponytails. I did pick up like five because I'm so indecisive, but this was the only one that I could find a link for, and this was the one that I was actually most interested in, because I wanted something that was really big and kind of reminded me and Took me back to my old hair texture that I had before I cut my hair and something that you know kind of mimics it. My curl patter was definitely not like this defined. I have why I still have 4c hair, but it is very, very gorgeous and I feel, like it looks natural I feel very confident in it. Okay, like I don't feel like anybody could check me boo, okay, so I really really do love this pony. So it looks very, very natural and I'm really really really really liking it. Okay, so this ponytail is very soft. It actually mimics like real human hair, and when I saw that on here I was like this is not even human hair, but it does. It'S very. Very soft - and I really really do like it honestly like it - just looks very natural, so I am here for it. I love love, love it now, let's go ahead and get right into this edge control, so this is edge control by mc7. This is actually by Miss Corolla. She is also a beauty influencer as low, so I was really really happy to go ahead and support. She did send this out to me and I was very very grateful because I've always wanted to try out. I always see people on her Instagram, I'm trying it and it looks at Lee, makes there. It just looks amazing, and this stuff is really bomb like this is really the truth. Okay, like your edges is like will be late. Like look at my edges like it's just - and this is the only product that I use on my edges like as you guys can see, I separated my hair so that I wouldn't get any gel on it, and it just looks amazing, like I just can't even Believe, like how my edges are just late, like they just look so freaking bomb, and that is thanks to this edge control. She also has a stick wish. I think I'm gon na purchase myself and try out it's like a edge control, stick or a wax stick.
