Jumbo Ombre Braid Ponytail Fail!? | Trial And Error

Oh, what's up, y'all, I'm Khadijah, Nicole and today I'm going to be sharing with you guys. My struggle of a tip thing to apply this ombre blue jumbo braid. So right now I have my body rollin and under here I've got some crazy twists going on cuz. I wanted to have my hair stretched out so yeah. I put my hair and twist be here: I'm gon na be using this hair is easy, very professional, and this stuff is supposed to be like ultimate, very stretch. Prelate good no tengo hot water set itch-free made with patented antibacterial fiber, see how this braiding hair was a little bit more expensive than the normal text of writing here. But because it's supposed to have all this, you know stuff going on with pre-stretched already hot water. Sick, you know there probably plays into the price. This is my first time using it, though, and I wanted to do something a little different with my braids. It'S gon na be um BRE blue on the buttom. It has like a little bit of blue hues throughout the top part, but it's like all the way blue at the bottom. So I'm really excited to use this braiding hair. Now I usually do set my hair with the apple cider, vinegar method, but I'm a risk. It and give this hair try to see. You know if it's good on the no itching and to make sure it doesn't like irritate or fit my skin like braiding hair, usually does I'm risking it for y'all for this video, and I got two packs like I said, and it is spectra original antibacterial braids, Easy braids professional pre-stretched all that hair. Now, because I want to do the goddess type of braid, I also have some um mixing rods and wait. I got ta go get my other line. I also have some of the hair accessories a little gold things. So I'm put that throughout the braid as well. So first, I'm just gon na go ahead and start taking these twists down. This twist are gon na, be so tempting because I left these in longer than I wanted to, because I was lazy making this video. So this would be a bomb to a start, but that's not today's look. I have my two hair ties. My two elastics and I'm gon na be using these to create my ponytail. Of course, I got my good old handy-dandy eco styler, gel that I'm gon na be using to slick my hair and do my edges and all that, so I'm just smoothing in a bike, a gulag Jill, honestly um. We, my hair, is set up nowadays, this so thick. I really cannot do this hair tie thing. I need my. I need my puppet string, here's my string and I'm good. No, I shouldn't give my life. I don't even know why I don't know why I just try to use these two. I don't know anyways nothing. My hair is nice and slick um. My baby. Are you the best? I think I would do them now, something they can be set in. Alright, I did my edges off camera cuz they just be taking time and today is about edges. So um, I'm gon na slap just a little bit more just a little bit more gel down to smooth any no flyaways, I'm gon na go ahead and open up. My braids in here - and I think I am gon na use my fat any having this hair package down like to the max where's my scissors boo-boo. You know these both do have rubber bands here at the top, but I'm gon na cut it off and put these both together and then just loop them with my regular hair ties. No, it says there pre-stretch, but getting enough for me so yeah. I think I think that's my bed I'll take elastic around the hair, don't know yeah I can see, but I have it under here like this and then I'm going up like that in these fingers here and then I'm just going and pulling the other side the Root and now I'm gon na take this y'all just broke it, oh great of them excellent khadija, alright got a new hair tie and this one's a lot bigger and has a lot more stretch to it. Let'S try this again this who this one underrated. So now I'm gon na take this put it over. My ponytail it'd probably be better if my hair was straight in, but hopefully I'm able to figure this out. So of course, I'm going to separate my hair off into three sections yo. This is a trial and error video I think I'm gon na do. I was gon na braid, my hair with it, but I think I'm gon na do it. The other method, where I just make my hair into a little bitty bud. Okay, I twisted my bun as small as possible and now again and I'm gon na start braiding on the opposite side that I want my braid to be on. So I'm gon na start on this side and then flip it to this side. What you you! So I blew it out. I don't get it right this time. I'M crap take a flexi rod and wrap the end, and then this piece I lived out, I'm gon na wrap around the ponytail. All I think I got it somewhat together. This business is gone. Eight. Now I will pull out some pieces for the goddess this I can get them out. So not I have these so put together. I'M gon na go get some hot water in a cup and then dip the pieces just dip it all the way I have my got to be glued freeze blast, I'm a huge dish because I have like some crazy news with my real hair poking out right Here I'm gon na. Let these continue to sit for a little bit. I'M probably gon na go eat and then I will come back and check them out and hopefully they're like curly. So hopefully my hair is completely dry now and it did nothing. Oh, no, I'm not starting to do a little something. Maybe they just weren't dry, it is still wet. I won't put them back in and try again alright. So this is what I have and, of course I will put on my little um hair jewelry. I didn't use, though, but being on the end of my hair, so I might just use this so I've just decided to put the little got his little curls back into the braid because it wasn't coming out how I want it now. I know the technique is to hot water set it, but I couldn't find like the perfect bowl or cook to be able to give my curls. So that's why the set wasn't setting and the curls weren't like holding really well. So I just put them back into the brain and yah. This is really just a UH like that trial and error. A learning experience. These are my mistakes for y'all not to make over all what I've learned from this is for one two packs of hair makes it really chunky and maybe I'll try only one pack like if I try to do this again um. I really do like it very jumbo, but it is kind of heavy on my head, so probably next time I would use only one pack, and also I learned that when trying to do this down, I should basically have my hair straightened or, like really really blown Out really good, because that's the only way it's gon na work on my natural hair, my hair is too thick and you know it's kind of hard to work with. It also might be able to do this really good when my hair was wet like not like real wet, but like kind of damp yeah. I think that would work good. I might try it that way. Next time I try to do this braid style vieira, something else I learned. I also learned that I don't really know how to do that technique. With a little bun on my head, I seen some videos like that you're not most like how they do that cuz. It'S this like had the brakes at this side. She was like start braiding and flip it over and hide the bun. It was not working for me. I don't know what it was, a girl that I think natural hair, so that might play a lot into it. Like a barrier is really thick, it can kind of be hard to do certain styles with it there's ways around it. Like I said you could straighten it or like blow it out really really well, but overall, I think it did come out pretty cute. You know. I'M saying it's kind of different: I never really seen this dog with an ombre of balloons, so you know give it a little fill a bow, but I did leave the arm and I'm giving it a little flavor. But I did leave the hair draw ease in, and I really like those so yeah and also, as you guys can see this break. Is it as long as some are that's another thing that I kind of you know saw with doing this technique with this type of writing here I probably need some hair. That'S a bit longer. This braid comes to a nice length, but I kind of want it to be a little bit longer than this, but yeah overall, I think it came out pretty good at once. I finally got the hang of it y'all.
