Slick Hair Tutorial & Answering Assumptions !

Hey guys, I'm back with a highly requested hair tutorial, I hope you enjoy !

All my socials are @ Freyatidy

Hey everyone today, i'm gon na do a slick, hair, video, i'm gon na, do a few different styles. I think, excuse my hair right now. I always do slick hair on dirty hair days. So it's really dirty. I'M gon na start. I think with like a middle part in higher pony and then maybe bun it, and i'm also going to respond to some assumptions that i asked on my instagram. I hope everyone's having so much hair everywhere. I hope everyone's having a good day or a good week with the ponytail. You need one of these. I used to use like these. I'M sorry, i don't know the names of anything it's so thick. I can't get my parting straight, because i do a straight part in with anything like i want to have my hair down, etc. I need it to be dead straight. Of course, i really dislike it. This takes a hot minute. I'M not gon na bother making it like dead straight to the back, because this bit ends up getting like swooped into the hair. Anyway, the biggest thing i have to say about slick, hair and making slick, hair look good is using more than one hairband 100. I'M just going to like brush it back like this, so it's in like the sort of way that i want it to go and because it's dirty like it's kind of staying that way, so i would say if you're gon na do some slick hair. Maybe you don't freshly wash your hair, i saw loads of people on tik tok when people were doing a lot of slick, hair, tutorials and things taking some hair from the front and then dragging it back, but i can't do that. Don'T get along with that. I have my hair slick so much one, because i'm lazy two, because i hate going out on a night out and touching my hair all night, i'm rambling so much a little bit of a chatting with you today, okay assumptions. Someone said, i think, you're really quiet in person: okay, i'm gon na grab two hair bands and i'm gon na start brushing my hair into a ponytail with my brush, i wouldn't say i'm quiet in person. I think it depends on the situation who i'm surrounded with. If i'm comfortable with those people like with my friends, i'm like really chatting okay, so i'm just like springing it up higher and higher, and if you start to get bumps as you bring it higher, i then just brush it through again this aches, your arms. So much i would say in the past year definitely got more quieter getting older. I guess i've just sort of rained it back again once it's in this position, as you can see, there's not that many fly aways, because my hair is dirty. I'Ve been using less hairspray more like oils or a hair mask to slick my hair back, because i saw it on tik tok and it's actually really helpful. So i just slick this all up like that, because it makes it a lot less crusty. Looking i'm gon na keep using the brush as well. The back part of the parting does just fade away, i'm going to tie and i'm holding it so tight right now, because, obviously, when you tie it, it does loosen slightly and i'm using two hair bands. Sometimes i add another, it depends what hair bands they are, how stretchy they are or whatever. Sometimes it takes more than one go so now what i do is i grab the tresemme extra hold level four out five. So it's pretty firm and i just do it all over and then i'm taking this lee stafford brush and i slick it back like this. Sometimes i like it when there's like a couple bumps in the middle. Sometimes i pull it like this, because it kind of looks strange having a flat bit in the middle hook these under as well to make it a bit looser, that's good for, like inward bumps, rather than outward bumps, i do the back, so i just took my Hair forward, someone just like said, is your natural hair, dark brown. They thought my natural hair was dark brown. It'S actually not. I mean you can't tell because my roots aren't really grown out right now, but my natural hair is a dark ashy blonde. Okay. So the next thing i do is, i take the got to be ultra glued styling gel and a spoolie, an old spoolie, maybe one that you're not going to use anywhere else. A little goes a long way with this for me, and i get all of the edges and these bits, especially just around here, if there's any gaps between the hairs. So that's basically the ponytail. If i want to make it higher i'll, add another hair band and pull it a bit higher um, because the more hair bands the more sturdy it feels for me to like move it around. I'M gon na go and freshen up this ponytail just gon na curl. It slightly so it looks a bit nicer. Okay, so i've curled my ponytail, but i haven't brushed it out or anything like that, but i was gon na show you quickly how i just do the curls in case you wanted to know i'm using the t3 wand. I'M not sure what this specific one is called, but it's really cool. It has a little touch board where you can say if your hair is colored, if it's coarse, thin, et cetera and so sort of tailors to your hair, i'm just gon na brush these out. Just because i want them to be quite wavy, they're still quite warm, so this will be like quite loose um and then i'm gon na run through some oil. So it's just got a bit something to it. I'Ll show you how i do one of them so just grab a bit of hair, give it a brush where's my brush. Okay, i just brush through the bit of hair grab my wand. I drag down like that and then make sure you curl the way that you've clipped it and then i just go up like this and then i just hold until i can feel the heat coming through my hair and then i just let go and there you Go and then i will do the rest of my hair and i won't touch them until i'm done okay, so that is the ponytail. I hope that made sense. Obviously, if you want it higher, i would say add another hair band, like i said earlier and put it up. So let me answer another assumption. Someone you only eat vegetables, which is obviously not true and someone said you're always partying. I bet on my stories. It probably does look like that and to be fair, i do go out for lots of lovely dinners and stuff. It'S like my favorite thing to do with my friends and my boyfriend and my family because i love like nice drinks and food and i do love festivals and rows but yeah. No, i would say i'm always partying, but i say i'd go out a fair amount. I'M now gon na do the barn i'm gon na lower my ponytail just slightly, because i don't like my bun to be too on top of my head, like a pineapple, lower the ponytail by just pulling the hair underneath, so it sort of just lowers it, and Then i twist this is away from my face so twisting to your left my left as well. Then i go right over my head like this and then when i come, make sure it's nice and tight and then when i come around the second time, i make sure it's not as neat, because if i was to do it like that, it would look very Neat and ballet bun vibes, so i'm not gon na - do that. I sort of just make sure it's covering it like this, that's good and then i'll leave a bit out like that. Do you think it definitely depends on how long or short your hair is because it might be harder raw easier to leave the perfect amount out? This is too much right now for me, so i just push it into the bun and then i re-tie and just leave what i want out and then i sort of just like pull it around. Sometimes i had another hairband like right now, it's too round, so i'm pushing the side down adding another hairband, leaving it on top like that, and then with these bits, sometimes i hairspray them to make them more spiky or just going to mess up this bit. Give it a hairspray, so that's the bun i feel like the bun, takes a little bit more trial and error because of trying to get the right amount out and how neat you want the bun and all of that stuff. Another assumption i got was that i get nervous on shoots. I'D say i actually don't anymore. I think i definitely used to, but like anything, i think it's just the more experience you get the more comfortable you feel going into things because you sort of know what you're going to be doing. I mean i guess it would depend on what shoe it was. What brand it was whether i've worked with them before it depends on your mood as well. If you wake up in a really confident positive mood, then you're probably going to go into it more positive and confident and all of that, but if you've woken up a bit more anxious, then maybe i'd be a bit more nervous for the sheet. Someone else said you got good grades in school. Thank you. I'M glad you assumed that i did actually i mean i only did my gcses because then i went and did my performing arts diploma at college, but i did good in my gcses. I think i got like sevens sixes a couple eights, which is pretty good. I mean, if you don't know what they are. I think they're like a's and b's and a couple c's, maybe okay. So that's obviously the bun i'm like just adding a little cheeky half up. Half down a half up. Half down is good, because if you don't feel comfortable, you know doing that doing an egghead. Then this could be a good idea. Obviously it might not look perfect because i've been putting black gel at the back here, so it's gon na need a brush. Okay, so say your hair was not gelled. Hairspray you're, probably gon na need a little bit more. Obviously, mine is stuck now so for a half up, half down what i like to do. Is i like to go from my ears. Some people like to go from higher whatever, but if you go from your ears, i feel like it gives you a nice slick. Look - and i literally just take my fingers having my long nails on, helps because it's like having two combs and i just go like that back to the crown of my head grab them in my hands. Sometimes you can feel whether you need to add a bit more and if you have someone with you, it's helpful because they can look at the back and see if it's in a straight line, and things like that. So now, i'm just gon na tie it. I'Ve now got three hair bands. Oh no. I'Ve only got two i'm going to do three, though, just because with this, because there's less hair feel like it's harder to get it into the right position. So now i'm just gon na tie it. I think half up. Half down is literally one of the most painful hairstyles, because when you take it out, it hurts so much. I don't know if anyone else has that straight away, more bumps, doing half a path down, not sure why just the way it is i'm literally gon na go straight in with the spoolie and the gel just to get the bumps out, because i don't really need To keep adding loads of hairspray and gel, so that's all the bumps out and that i mean i feel like i'm not doing like a very good tutorial, because i do just kind of put it up. But maybe there was a few tips and tricks in there. Maybe that people haven't heard of before something i do like to do, which i've noticed every time i've done my hair half up half down is that i don't like when this bit is like say it was curly but curled from here. I wouldn't like it like that. I would want to straighten it like this up until about here and then have it curly, because it just looks strange being bigger than the slick part but yeah. This is a little half up half down moment. Obviously you can have it higher. Oh, no, oh no, get ready, go! Okay, i'm making it worse. I need a pin. So when i was pulling that up, i just gave it a bump, which i literally can't get rid of. So again. If you have thin hair or fine hair, you're, probably gon na get more bumps all over your head. But if you were to get one like this, but you like the rest of your hair and how it looks. I would just take a little bobby pin and use it to keep it flat. Like so anyways, that's everything so i hope you enjoyed, and i will see you next time.
