Perfect Frizz Free Curly Ponytail

Hey y'all today, I'm going to show you how I get the perfect ponytail with defined and frizz-free curls. Let me start off by saying I do have fine low-density curls, so putting my hair up, while it's still wet, isn't going to give me the volume I want in a ponytail, not to mention if I put my hair up right away, while it's still drying, I Will absolutely add frizz to my curls and eventually I'll turn my ponytail into a big pouf. So after styling I do not touch my hair until it's 100 % dry, you can use a diffuser if you'd like or if you're working on second or third day hair. You can go ahead and use the volume that way since I am working on first day hair. I'Ve got to wait for it to dry, but once it's dry, it's super soft bouncy defined frizz free, which is really important, and it has enough volume for a full ponytail. Now what I do is, I take a small amount of my favorite moisturizing, leave-in, conditioner or styler, and smooth down the hair that will be pulled back. If you have more flyways than the average person you might want to use a hint of edge control or a light hairspray, then I begin to gather all of my hair to the crown giving my ponytail a bit of height. I just wrap the hair tie twice depending on the size of your hair tie. You might need to wrap it once more. The point is to hold a hair back without giving you a headache and also remember that pulling the hair back too tight could potentially pull on those edges and we're trying to keep those intact. You could sleek the hair back with a brush, but I like a slight bit of texture with that being said, I normally get a few bumps in my hair, but I just tuck the bumps into some hair and then they're out of sight for a bit more Volume at the top of my ponytail, I give it a few tugs. I find that it gives it the look of a little more volume and that's it. My curls are left to find frizz free and my fine hair has turned into a ponytail with lots of volume.
