Hi guys welcome back to beauty, which I thank you for coming back to my channel. So here I have some jumbo box braids up into a ponytail decided to do, and this was really based off of a previous style. These cornrows I'll leave this link down below just some simple four cornrows and you guys was excellent for more simple natural hairstyles. So I decided to do this. Look I'll also leave a link down below of the girl whose video I sing. Hers was a little different but I'll leave it down below cuz. That'S where I got the idea from so I'm just taking out these box braids and I had cut them down because I hid it underneath the wig yeah, I'm just going from style to style. You know so um I just take out the braids and then I just take the brush and brush through the little product that um I did have on my hair. Actually, I have used a lot of products, so it's like four days later, so I'm just gon na do something else here, I'm taking my handmade hair cream and putting that on my hair and then I'm combing through it at first. I was going to try to do like the puzzle, braids um. I think I'll just do that next time. If you guys want to see me, do the puzzle brace, I started to do it, but it was like a lot of work, so I was like alright. Whatever I'm just gon na do straight jumbo box braids, so here I'm just section off my hair and the main products I'm using is Gorillaz not in some Jam. So here I'm just sectioning off my edges, cuz. I did want to have like a little edges to swoop at the end and then I'm going around the perimeter of the braid with the jam straighten up my parts a little bit if needed, combing through it, and then I go right on top with the Gorillaz. Not you probably could just go in straight with gorillas nah, but I just love jam on my roots. I don't like it on my edges, but I do like it around my roots because it holds my own stuff, really nice and neat, and here guys today marks two years since I shaved off. All of my hair y'all see how low my hair is grown. It has grown so long, so thick and y'all always ask me what I do to grow my hair, and I really don't do anything. I were a lot of protective styles, that's one and I also use my handmade hair cream. That has like a lot of great oils and butters in it like shea butter almond oil avocado like it has a lot. So if you would like to purchase yet just email me Beauty, Woodside, 89 and gmail.com. So this is the hair that I'm using I'll leave. This link down below this hair is really short and then, on top of that, I cut it in half, so it's even shorter. So that's all I have and then I split it and put it on top of each other, so I can kind of stretch it. A little bit and that's what I'm left with so I can have it short and then I'm taking my handmade hair cream Pinet on my ends, then some Jam so that my ends won't curl up like in the grate and did not go ahead and braid. That onto my hair um, the video that I seen, I don't think she cut her hair and a half, and it was really long so then, when she went to go put it in a ponytail, she had to cut her ponytail. So that's why I decided to cut my hair in half um, so yeah. This style is mainly to be worn in a ponytail, but at the end I do show you that you can wear it like half-up half-down, I'm pretty sure you can do like two-point arrows or something, but the braids are like really big. So, but I'm just repeating the same steps over and over and look at that growth y'all, like my hand, is just sliding all the way down. My wrists, like a little, keeps like what my hair to hold on cuz. I was just like so excited like it's been 2 years and it is growing like nobody's business honey. So yeah, like I said, you're just gon na, do the same thing over and over and over again - and this is just a lazy way - you can definitely start off on freshly washed hair. I was just being lazy yeah, so I'm taking these perm rods. They, the great ones and I'm using this loose, which really wasn't necessary because I am gon na be dipping it in hot water. I'M not sure why I put the mousse on there. You really can skip this. It'S not necessary and they're not go ahead and wrap. The part - and I make sure I put the Pearl right on top of my plat and then wrap it around. You know not letting up off of the hair so to create more of our coal, then like flat curl. That makes things so yeah just kept on using the mousse, even though I really didn't need it. So you definitely skip that. So I'm just gon na keep repeating the same steps like I said, and that's what you left with for the first row. Long have three braids and then I had a total of 16 plus 16 braids and I used two and a half packs of hair. So not much so again, I'm doing the same thing on this side and yes, my hair is dirty cuz, I'm going from previous style, and I had a wig on and I had like some spritz and stuff on my edges. Just a mess so, as y'all can see, I do everything that I'm not supposed to do when it comes to natural hair. I don't wash it like I'm supposed to. I don't do anything like I supposed to and for real. I think your hair grows faster or when it's dirty. Let me say that cuz I wash my hair like not that often y'all, I'm all over the place, but I'm still doing the same thing put some jam on it. Checking out that Lane and that's about how thick I have the hair and then I started to put some jam on the end of the braiding hair. So it won't stick up and I didn't have to do it in between me platon here so here. I'M just plating it and then, since my hair is longer, I'm able to just keep on braiding down till I get to my hair, and then I put the rubber band on the end of it right at the end of my hair. I try not to put it a little bit before, because my hair started to curl up on like two of them, where I didn't bring the rubber band down farther enough on top of my hair. So keep that in mind your hair, it's like the length of mine and oh yeah, I'm putting jam on the ends of my hair next time. I'M gon na use gel because did jam and like staying in my bonnet. It was even on it's even on my couch, like it's it's this weird purple dark. Look that I didn't know that Jam did like dead. So wait. I didn't mentioned it one time I don't know, but this time that Jam was everywhere. So maybe you can use jail just wan na, let y'all know so here I'm on the third row section it off pulling off some edges, so I can do a little baby here going around with some jam. You can definitely put the jam on your roof. Just be careful putting the jam on the ends of your hair cuz, it might get on to something else like as the days go by and look into me. Checking out that link go me. Yo, hi and today marks my two-year anniversary. So I'm really high and look how good these braces look um. I am using rubber bands, you don't have to use rubber bands. I like using my bands cuz it just is it makes it like neater and it doesn't take as much time like. I feel like my sessions can be like resection and every section I go ahead and add some of my handmade hair cream and then I'll go ahead and add the rest of the products and I'm trying to line my last row up with the other road. So it'll look really nice and neat checking that length again I'll get so excited, but ya, don't know dance and that's it. I feel like I'm repeating myself, but you know Chantelle you like little things tips along the way, um yeah. That'S it just keep on doing the same thing, and here I'm on my last break. Oh yes, so this took me about two hours. Look at me, ball headed up two years ago and now look at me. No, no! I'M not stayin ball, headed up for people that do not have hair, but it just came out like that. You know it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I really do apologize. I say a ball headed duck. I didn't I mean I like that I was just you know, saying that out here was, but look how good and healthy my hair look look at the roots. It looks so good, so we're gon na tackle these little nappy, taco meat edges and just swooped up with some gorilla snot now you're gon na see me later on. Again I used as control den girl. It'S not because the gorilla snot was, I don't know it's weird, so I made sure I did my hair in hot water. No, I didn't have water in my cup, but so this is later on that night I took off my scarf and took off the RO list. It was pretty much dry and then spray some oil. Shame, as you can see my edge. It'S not like late cuz. I only used gorillas, not gon na put my scarf on so later. You'Re gon na see me actually use edge control and it came out so much better. So here you can't wear it half-up half-down, I still haven't split the little curls up, but that's just showing you that you can, even though my main reason for this style is to wear it up in a ponytail thought. It was really cute and also this is the cheaper version by using some braiding hair. You can definitely use some crochet here. Um, you know, do box, braids and crochet hair in there or braid it with crochet hair. So this is two days later and that's how to braid look. They still look really nice and neat. So I'm gon na use my gorilla snot in my I am blessed edge control which control is pretty good. It'S like a hit or miss. Sometimes it leaves white residue, but this time it didn't leave Oi, whereas to do like my edges are still looking Bom. I don't looks because I put the girls knot on the top. I don't know, but y'all this little handy dandy. Little brush comb thing y'all want to go, get that I'm late in the game. I just got mine from the hair store like a week or two ago, but it's like my best friend, so I do that with the edge control and then I go on top with um took a real. It'S not, and I didn't even have to put a scarf on my hair. It just stayed and laid and look at those edges later. Looking good and I wore wigs all the time and my edges still there y'all get on the waves. Yes, baby stuff is perfectly fine and then BAM. Look at me looking like a whole baby doll. So I did this breast cancer awareness makeup. Look so I'll have that link down below but yeah you guys. Let me know what you think about this. Look in this hairstyle and what else you would like to see if you like these, you know natural styles like this, that's pretty simple and please thumbs up this video and subscribe. Verlinda Jackson: Black hair is not to be washed as often as whites or other races with straight hair. The moisture is the key sometimes for us. I do agree that for us, when the hair is dirty it grows. When it’s washed too often, it falls out. I’m also guessing that the longer healthy products are in the hair, the more effective they are because they aren’t being washed out too quickly. That gives the hair a chance to absorb and benefit from them. Your channel is awesome!
