#drawstringponytail #curlydrawstringponytail #naturalhair

Hey guys natalie nelson here today and i am back with this q little tutorial, showing you guys how i use a drawstring pony now. My hair is starting off as really really dirty, as you guys can see. It'S like literally stuck together, but i had to get this style together, real quick. So one thing that i do is i just go ahead and pick through it so that i can get some of my curls to loosen up. The good thing is that when i do prep my hair in the style, it's already going to be up, so that definitely helps now to actually get everything in motion or training our hair to the direction we want to go. I'M going to use some of that hicks edge, styling, gel or pomade whatever it is, it'll be in the description box, but this is basically going to go around the perimeter of my hair, and this is how you're going to get that sleek look without having to Like make your hair way too tight, i definitely would suggest using some type of pomade, because it's going to take some of the tension off of your hair now. The second thing that i'm also going to do is use some gel and i have split my hair into two sections. Splitting my hair into two sections honestly just helps make the process a lot easier for me, because my hair is super thick and when i try to put it all in one ponytail, that's when you know we start noticing that our edges are starting to run away. So that's the trick for you if you do have really really really really thick hair. Like i do now, the next step in this process is to grab my trusty scarf. This is just going to help lay down your hair, make it nice and slick all that good stuff, and then, after that, i'm going to prep my hair by putting it into one big old plait, and i'm just going to twist it around itself so that we Can make a bun? I guess you could say this is going to be an anchor for our drawstring pony and now for the future. I will be using the cutie pie, tresses curly pony it is in the hair texture of 3c in 4a, and it also is 20 inches. It does come with a drawstring, as you guys can see. It comes with two combs and you guys can see how the uh design of it is made. So, as i said before, you're just going to anchor the comb right onto the bun that you created earlier on and once you find your placement you're going to go ahead and secure it by basically drawing in the drawstring pony and once i'm finished with that, i'm Going to wrap it around my hair just so that it's not in the way, because you don't want anybody saying that, like you're, not trying to be clocked out here, you know i'm saying so. You just want to go ahead and wrap it around, and the good thing that i love about this hair is that it is so like it just is so freaking healthy, like it looks so realistic, basically so again to make it even more realistic. I'M going to start adding some layers into it because i mean like it just it just looks like it's very, very uh clackable to me when your hair is all one length and nobody's hair is all one month, so i just made some layers kind of like How my natural pony would be - and this is exactly how it came out - so you know she beat her fame. She looking all cute, she got out of that rope, put some clothes on, and this look looks. Oh my gosh. It really really came together and i just want to do a close-up, so you guys can see how my hair looks as well as the hair. My hair is, i think, a little bit darker than the drawstring pony, but that's okay, because honestly you really cannot tell once everything is up, so i think the colors are actually pretty nice, so the next step would be to just refresh the curls, because i was Manipulating it and once they are wet, i'm just going to take one piece and wrap it around just for some added protection, as well as to make sure you can't see the um. You know the actual uh string for the drawstring pony. You know just to make it a little bit more natural, as you guys can see, you can't really see anything and that's exactly what we're going for now for some added protection. I would definitely secure some hair over the top of the drawstring only only because sometimes you can see the wefts and you're not trying to be on the date with your boo and, like you know, to win here, and you see all your wefts like not when You'Re trying to sit in tracks, you know so you just got ta be careful now. The next step would be to go ahead and spritz your hair, and this is just my favorite um oil sheen. This is really good for your natural hair, as well as for your drawstring pony and then we're gon na move on to the edges girl. So if you're into the edges thing i mean like you know, if it's for you, you could do it, but i just feel like it makes the style come together. So i'm just gon na just do a couple of swoops here, i'm very proud of my edge skills because, like you know, they got better over time. So i'm very happy about that, and i like this product also because like it, doesn't allow you to manipulate your edges to the point where it's like you're sitting there doing it for like 40 minutes, like once, you slick it down with that um edge factor or Edge booster y'all know i have it in the description box. It'S staying, so i love that love that product now this is the final result of my pony and girl. Tell me that'll. Look like it grew out. My scalp like, oh, i never ever ever, had a drawstring pony, so i really really really love the outcome. Of course, if you guys want more information, be sure to visit the description box, and i will see you guys on naturallynowsian.com bye, guys,
