From Twa To Sleek Hair Ponytail| 4C Hair

All right y'all, so this is going to be my tutorial on how you can do a ponytail with this length of hair. It can be done. Don'T trust these do this is optional hair black stick! Okay! There i go. I got this in the states, but they actually sell cheese, balm here and gta edge control a brush to comb out my hair, a brush to you, know, lay my hair down. This is strong as well, that is a strong ass brush edges brush, not a toothbrush. Don'T do me ponytail holders rubber band, a d-rag to lay down the hair, some pins to like separate the hair yeah. For starters, what you need is a hot home. This is really hot. I bought this at my local beautiful store. It goes up to 500 fahrenheit. I know i'm in canada now, but we still couldn't use fahrenheit go to 500 degrees, fahrenheit medium-high, that's for the bbs in the back and then anything else. You can't catch also you're going to need a straightener. So what i'm already doing right here? I already part my hair and i'm just going over it with my what okay, but you can see this is straight and then this is curly, we're just going to do it throughout the whole head. All right, of course, 120 is crazy. I got a damn mask in my bathroom and you wanna part it you wan na separate it don't wan na rush, because it's gon na show in the work. Actually i'm gon na be shady, but some of these ponytails looking very questionable. Okay. So take your time, i'm sick of people saying, oh, my god, you can't do that. Your hair is too short. Watch me one thing about me: i love when people say i can't do something. I show their ass, so here's the clip now just pin that bit right there. Okay, you know what, when it comes to combs, you want to use one of those combs that are that work well with heat. I have it, but i don't know where it is. I don't know where i put it so um for the most part. I just use my hands and if i need to use the comb i'll use it ooh, i'm sweating like a as y'all can see. This is straight right here and then this is curly all right y'all. So i'm looking like carol baskets husband, but that's like go sometimes so i'm just picking on my hair. I know something i'll, but oh my gosh hair dry as shoulders dry, shoulders, picking it out. So it's easier for me to part it and then, when i go over it with the hot comb, it's not like it's not like a hassle. This sounds like i'm biting that i've been growing. My hair, since i was like march and it's now august harden keep parting to get to the top. Like i said, you don't want to make big parts, because when you brush the work it will show and then, if your hair is really short, it won't go. How it's supposed to go because of the fact that you rush this process, i'm just going to split this in two, because i feel like it's easier for me to do it like this. This is just my preference same thing: combing, it out part it combine out and then put the heat. My sister's calling me couturier, hey chris, hey sis, how you doing how you feeling? After this i'm going to blow dry my hair and then i'm going to flat iron it i get it! It'S a lot of heat but baby. When you want to look away, you have to do what you got to do. That'S that this is all i have left right here and this side is stretched out. We can stretch it some more, but i don't want to you: don't always have to rely on the iron, because the fact that it's really hot, so you can stretch your hair with the blow dryer and then um use the flat iron to stretch it. Some more hey, i'm i'm sweating, oh my god, all right, y'all boys, so i just finished flat ironing my hair and i'm sweating. So my hair is actually like curling back up a little bit, but i kind of do my ponytail in like a two day process. Just for the simple fact that i don't want to spend all day on my hair, so now i'm going to blow dry it out. My whole scalp is low-key on fire because of the hot comb. I swear if my grandma was doing this until my hair was younger, we'll be fading because honey, it's not worth it. It'S not it's not, but now that i live in canada and a lot of people be like. Oh, i can't do your hair. It'S too short i'll be able to improvise. So that's why i'm like, let me teach the girls and the guys how to do this. As you can see, it got a little like fuzzy in the back, but it's all good, i'm going to put my do-rag on you know. Give me time to it gives me time to you, know, relax and then i'm going to wake up in the morning and then finish. This look for y'all, see you once i got my do back on all right, y'all see in the morning, hey y'all, so this is how my hair looks with the hot comb and now i'm just gon na take the flat iron and just press over certain areas. I feel like i can just flatten a little more yes, my hair is stretched out stretched out, but um i just want to flat iron. This is a big ass iron and i'm not really like parting it or anything like that. Just a quick little slide over not in major. This is how it looks after flat, iron and hot comb, all right y'all. So now i part it in the middle right. Like a little part, i'm saying i like a little part like i can do a big ass swoosh. You walk around with crooked ass parts like girl come on now, i'm gon na put some. I actually got a new edge control, the 24 hour tavern tamer by even and when you do this you're able to make your parts more street when you add the edge control. This is not straight. Oh, my god. My arms hurt this way this straight. This is not straight look at it. What the i did about 511 times, i'm going with that in this final, all right, so right now, you're going to need some holding spray, got to be rubber bands and a comb. So i'm going to show y'all how we get it in a pony all right, so i'm just going to like comb the hair down in the direction where i want my hair to go. As you can see. Look how short this hair is. Like that's shorter! That'S going to be the ponytail believe it that's going to be the ponytail, oh. By the way i got silver yesterday. Look the ghetto like i was rubbing myself with ice last night, so what we gon na do so this part, you don't want it to be. Just looking all crazy or whatever so we're gon na part it and straight down and have it in the direction where you want to go, we're going to do it throughout the whole head. Just now we're gon na just tie this, i'm gon na ponytail y'all, i'm just gon na do this side. So, as you can see, i parted that guys. I just laid it down it's great and it doesn't matter if this is not all the way in, because your ponytail is gon na cover it. You got ta make sure you have something to attach it to it. Like you can't see the hair like stops. That'S why you use this because of course, my hair is too short to reach all the way back in the ponytail, but if you lay it at home, you can do so part always ends up cut off halfway. Remember i parted my part so long now. Look where it's at that's all good, now same thing: brush that hole down spray brush it and then, as you can see, we have this side lay the down. Well, you can style your edges. However, you want i'm not really the best for edges i'll just be doing a one. Two one two! You did that's ugly as hell. What the and be careful when you mix edge control with like this got to be spray sometime. It gets a little white. Okay. Now i'm gon na do this side all right guys, so both sides are laid down. I'M gon na use a little just wax. Stick. I don't know i'm just picking up like miscellaneous that i have here and putting it on my hair. You see use that stick and it made my white. Let me put this on my head. It'S like a van thing. I got from the biggest supply store, so i'm just going to keep that on for a little bit and like let my hair get a little flat and then i'll come back with the ponytail. So y'all can see that i was just trying to fix my edge. That'S how you know i don't do edges. I said it's going to fix my edge, hey y'all. I added my drag as well, but i had this on for about 30 minutes now. I'M just gon na take this off wow it laid flat, but this part's sticking up, but you can get something like this and just lay it down like this, but i'm not gon na do that again, but if i wanted to, i could do so. So it lays flat - damn i think i'm going to do that. My hair looks crazy. It'S so flying my hair. It'S like what the so now i have my ponytail that i made so this is the part i'm going to attach this little thing right here right. I'M just going to put it on there are that on there, like, i said it doesn't matter about the hair, i didn't catch because no one's gon na see it. So this is a ponytail and then you use this hair to wrap around and this one i've used more than once. So the hair is tangled a little bit, but it's all good, i'm just letting y'all see if i was going somewhere. I would definitely comb out the hair and make it a lot. Sleeker opposed to me just rushing to put it on right now so yeah. That is how you're able to lay your hair down. Having a small ass ponytail, i mean small ass afro.
