Hey guys welcome back to my channel so today, I'm here to show you guys how I achieved this slicked back hair style on my dry for see here, as you guys can see. So I just washed it, but I forgot to moisturize it after I washed it. So now it is dry, so I'm just gon na apply water first, so first you want to make sure that your hair is moisturized and wet for it to work so go ahead and spray some water and don't mind my little sister in the back she's. Just here to be my little help today, okay, so yeah make sure your hair is moisturized and yeah. That'S the only way it's actually going to work. So do that make sure you do that. So since I want like a slicked back like a slicked back that goes to the back, I'm gon na start working from the back, so go ahead and start putting your hair. So you want to part your hair and make small small sections. That'S how you want to work for this if you have like hair like me, this is how you want to work. The less parts you work with this more slick is going to be so try to be don't be lazy with this try to do it. The right way and you will get your results so the products that we'll be using first, I'm gon na use like less products out towards the end. I'M gon na use another product that I'm gon na show you guys towards the end. So, first you want to get like a moisturizer and leave-in conditioner or any type of moisturizer that you have and just like, apply it to your hair. I play it really well like don't don't rush this part, because if it's really really important another thing, you're gon na use this gel. So, in my case, I'm using stock eco styling gel so go ahead and apply that as well, be very gentle with it and after you're, like done applying the gel you wan na, take a brush and start combing it out, as you will see very soon, so Get a brush like a really good brush and start not coming it, but like brushing it down that way like the slickness can start coming together. Yeah, the brush is very important, make sure you get a good brush, because this one, I don't think a certain - can actually work without the brush so make sure you do have right, and then you want to take a really really good good edge control. Let me show you the one I'm using I'm using this and thrown the edges edge control, and you just want to apply a good good amount onto your hair and this, like your edge control, it's very essential. It'S really gon na break or make this look as well so brush and it pickle is very important, so go ahead and apply the edge edge control all over the, where you want your hair to be slick basically and go ahead and start brushing it down again. So brushing is very important and make sure you guys do this very, very carefully, yeah you after this, you can literally just repeat this whole thing over and over and over again, and you will get looked at. You are looking for so go ahead and just tie this down with an elastic band and then you're gon na want to start working on another and another section. Okay. So, let's move on to another section so, like I said before, you want to work in like small small sections, like the left section, like the smaller the section, the better your hair is gon na come out like this, the more slick your hair is gon na. Come out so make sure that you are working in small sections and I'm like big big sections. So repeat that process where you just apply the conditioner, the gel and the edge control and then add that section into the hair that is done. Basically so yeah you're gon na continue repeating this process, so I'm gon na go ahead and finish up the back and I'm gon na come and do the front with you guys again. So here I am basically done with the back, and now I'm gon na start working from the top, so, as you guys already saw in the beginning, I do want a middle part, so I'm gon na go ahead and part my hair in the middle. You part your hair, however, you want to part it, but I really really wanted to try this middle slicked back and thankfully it came out cute. So I also started to notice that my hair was starting to get dry, so I went in with a little bit more of spray of water and it did help you didn't make it a little bit moist. So that's good make sure your hair is much fun guys. I'M telling you I'm telling you your hair has to be moisturize, so go ahead and start your hair again, like you've, been doing yeah as long as you're going in small sections. You should be fine. The length of your hair shouldn't matter much so yeah go ahead and twist or just get do anything. That'S gon na get the other hair that you're not working on right now. Do anything! That'S gon na make it get out of your way to make it easier for you go ahead and do that so yeah. Now I'm gon na go ahead and repeat the process again apply a conditioner and leave-in conditioner. Any type of leave-in conditioner apply. It really really! Well and then you want to go ahead again and add the gel, which, in my case, I'm using eco styling gel, apply that really really well okay. So after you're done applying the gel take the brush again and start brushing your hair down towards the ponytail of the hair. That'S done so just brush it down really well. I usually take about like two minutes to brush this through and then I take the edge control and apply that to well. That'S me, probably like a minute and a half so yeah, take the edge control, apply that really well as well. Try to work in sections! Try to like apply it to one part and then slick that down and then keep going, but I don't try to do it all at once, like in the row. Don'T try to do the row all at once so start like with the side and then go to the middle and then go to the other side, so yeah brush it down, make sure that you're brushing it really well and uh it crimp. It can kind of hurt honestly like brushing your hair down like this cuz. Here, your head has to stay like stiff and you can't like move much, but trust me. It is so worth it once you're done so yeah go ahead and add that hair into the ponytail in the back and yeah it should be good. Now you guys get the jist now that you get what I'm doing you get the process. You just repeat it repeat it all over again until you're done basically so yeah now that I've reached the top, though there's another product that I'm gon na start using, which is you guys, will see very soon the product it is. What is it call? It'S got to be glue and the reason why I started using that at the top is because I really didn't want a lot of product in the. But since, like the top matters a lot - and you want it to be as quick as possible, so yeah go ahead and add the gut to be glued job, so this is really going to help you get that slick. Look it's very well! I think you can go with foul day honestly, but in my case I really mean I really wanted to use it because it really does make a difference. It does make your hair stay together and it does help the flyaway hairs not stick out too much. So, as you guys can see, it's really really helping like right here, I haven't even applied the edge control, so yes, you guys can see. It really does help. So now I'm gon na go in with the edge control, and you guys will see like how different it is like it would look so much different, even though the hair in the back is laid down, the edge control with the gossipy glue job does help. It does help significantly. It does kind of change, switch up the look so yeah. It does also make the hair very shiny and slick. So yeah, I really like the guards to be blue. If you guys are gon na invite, invest in any product, I would say it would have to be because to be good, gel and the edge control. Those are very helpful when it comes to 4c hair, so I hope you guys do, try it and let me know how it come turns out for you. Let me know if it works for you, because I it probably doesn't work for everybody but yeah. So now I've reached the top I'm gon na repeat that same process over and over again we're almost done like. Basically, this part you wan na try. Maybe it's working a little bit less sections like make the sections a little bit smaller, just because it is the top and you want it to be as slick as possible, so make the sections here at the top, even more smaller than you have been working with. So yeah, as you can see guys, the sides like the edge control did help a lot and you guys to be good. Yeah, like you, can see how like slick, is coming out. So yeah you guys. This is basically a I'm gon na go ahead and finish up my hair and I'll. Give you guys like a final review at the end and I'll show you guys how to hair came out and all of that so yeah you guys enjoy watching and again guys. If you haven't subscribed, please do alright guys, so we are finally done with all of the sections and now I'm gon na add this rich holding spray, I'm just gon na. Add it over the surface and I'm trying to like lay down the flyaways with my hair with my hand, my hair with my hands and then I'm gon na wrap my hair with two wrap two wraps actually yeah. I'M gon na use two wraps. I'M gon na use this small one first at the front and then I'm gon na add another wrap, just put the hole for my whole head, so yeah as you can see, I'm using two because I mean I'm using two because sometimes when I use one my Hair can kind of like it can kind of like move a night when I'm sleeping and I'm planning on sleeping with this, so I had to use two like I usually just used two just in case. You know so yeah you too, and all the eight guys hey guys so welcome back it's the next day. I left the wrap overnight. It'S been laying down for like 12 hours now so yeah it better be laid by the time I take this off. So I just finished doing my makeup out: I'm gon na go ahead and take this down: okay, okay, mo pretty good and light right. So now I'm gon na take this braiding hair, I'm gon na braid it! I think I'm gon na I'm gon na braid it and then pin it in my hair, like I don't want to bring it onto like my little pony back here, so I'm gon na braid it and then attach it, attach the elastic onto something I had touched. It on my leg and then I'm gon na just go ahead and start like braiding it into like a braid eating all the way to the bottom. I'M trying to like show it, but it's so long. Okay, oh my gosh! This is so long. You guys don't struggling so once you get to the end. You'Re gon na take an elastic and just like secure it long, braid right here now so now, I'm gon na attach this and then I'm gon na take my break, bring it to the top and then try to bring your leg to the top of these. You guys see it, okay, so bring it to the top of your table and try to spread it and try to like tuck it in they try to tuck in your puffs into it. Take the bobby, pins and secure it in there. You have it there. You go and that's it so I think I'm gon na add some hairspray or some oil to make my just to make the hair shine all right, you guys that is it for today. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Let me just turn and show you guys, the final look, okay and look at this. It'S so long! If you have 4c here and now, you know that it can lay down and honestly, that's like any type of hair can lay down. You just have to find the right products that work for you, the edge control that I used. It works so perfectly for my hair, oh yeah, guys! Thank you so much for watching. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Don'T forget to subscribe to the channel. Don'T forget to like and share and comment I'll see you guys next time, bye, guys
