Aladdin Inspired | Sleek High Ponytail W/ Marley Hair | 4C

Here's an easy tip on how to get a sleek ponytail on natural 4c hair. For this tutorial I used Marley hair by Zury.

Hi, it's a deed of charelle here, welcome to my channel, so I just took out these to struggle French braids. I had in my hair, just wan na show you guys a cute quick little sassy hairstyle. You can wear for the weekend. Okay, stay tuned! First step! You want to go ahead and part the section right in the front of your hair. Okay, so put your hair on away in the back and the ponytail, and then we are going to braid the front or hold. I used Murray's edge wax and then here I'm just taking my time, giving myself a cornrow in the front of my hair and it's always a struggle when your hair is clearly on the six side. So I'm just taking my time, gathering the hair from each side to try to get it as tight as possible. So we need this braid to be much longer for what we're going to do next. So here you see me adding the Marley braid hair to the end, and I will continue to braid it down, adding the Marley hair as much as needed. I added about three more strands along the way here. You see me putting on just a little extra moisturizer on the ends, definitely want to make sure that you're protecting your ends so that they stay healthy. I have an easy tip for you all. If you ever have a hard time, smoothing your hair into a ponytail. Do one section at a time you see me put the center into a ponytail first no product at all at this point and then with the last section you're pulling in the ponytail put in your gel or any holding product that you use and then it's easy To smooth your hair into the ponytail right now, I'm gathering all the hair. Then I just braided the end that is out, and I also put a lot of moisturizer in a section to both the braid to the back, and you want a little height with this braid to help with the ponytail, I'm smoothing my edges. Take your extra-large goody. Headband, the Marley braid hair and then we're going to take a strand at a time and loop it through the hairband and you'll, see me doing that here. So there you have it. You want to continue this process all around the headband. I believe I added around 20 pieces or so of Marley braid hair. I did a little separating of the Marley braid here. You see me just finger detangling it to get a little more volume. Then I'm taking the ponytail wrapping it around the braided bun twice. Then you want to play around with it to get the shape that you want for your last step. Take that braid extension wrap it around the base of the ponytail and keep pulling a wrapping up to the top until you reach the end and just pin it back, hey have you subscribed yet don't forget to click that button?
