This is my first time doing a sleep ponytail and in this video i'm going to show you the do's and the don'ts. Okay, let's get started so my hair has been washed, so it is now ready to be styled. So i'm going to go ahead and break my hair into two pieces, so that way i can start blow drying. So this is the first don't do not break your hair up into two pieces. If your hair looks like mine and think that you're going to get your hair straight, it is not going to happen. I recommend that everyone get a clip to go on their blow. Dryer that looks just like the one that was just shown. Link will be below, as you can see, my hair is still poofy, but i'm still deciding to go on to the next step of flat ironing. This is the biggest mistake if your hair is not smooth when you blow it out, it's not going to be smooth when you throw the flat iron on it. Okay, let's round that back, what you want to do. First is break your hair up into at least six sections. This will make it easy for you to detangle blow dry and get your hair as straight as possible with the blow dryer after breaking my hair up into the six sections, i'm going to blow dry it section by section, once i'm done blow drying, you can go Ahead and put your hair up in a clip or a rubber band and make sure you use some oil to put on your hair. So it's not super dry. So i'm going to put the oil on then i'm going to fly iron each section, but i'm going to take smaller subsections this time to make sure that it's super bone straight after you have straightened all your beady beads. You want to go ahead and make sure that your part is super straight pull your hair back taut, so you can see where your part is, and then you can go from there if you're doing a middle part, sleep ponytail, the part has to be in the Middle after i do that, i want to break my hair up into more sections, because i want to mold it down section by section. So i'm going to start with the back with molding i'm going to put my hair in a tight ponytail and i'm going to use a rubber band to secure it. I'M going to use the got to be spraying to get it nice and flat. The next must is the blow dryer with the spray you want to put the spray on and then go ahead and use your blow dryer to make everything harden smoothing is very important throughout this process. So after you have smoked it out, one section you want to move on to the next section and make sure everything is smooth. So i went ahead and put my ponytail on one section and now i'm going for a different section, putting on an elastic ponytail onto the next section, while smoothing to make sure that everything is not lumpy and in a bunch do now. I'M moving on to the front part of my hair. This is the most important section. I want to make sure that my part is right and that the front part is as smooth as i can get it. So i'm smoothing everything out making sure that everything looks. Okay, then i'm going to apply my spray mold it down, just like i did before after your ponytail is secured, and everything looks good in the back. You want to braid your hair down, so i'm going to put my hair in one braid to get ready to attach my extension. Needle and thread is what i choose to use. There are a lot of people that just use glue in the hearing station, but i wanted to make it where there is no glue, so i'm gon na thread the needle make sure you knot the first end and then wrap the hair around. I like to take the thread and put it in between my braid, so it's gon na be in my braid. I'M gon na wrap everything around so that way, the string is not all tangled up. That process will be followed all the way to the top, and then you take one section and wrap it around as you wrap it around a few times. You want to take your spray and use it with the blow dryer to get it to harden, to have that smooth finish in the back. For my first time, everything is looking good, so i'm smoothing smoothing trying to make sure that my ponytail is looking as sleek as possible and i'm going to use one of those i brush brushes to get my bead beads right. So so far, i'm happy with the results. Okay, so everything is looking cute. So for my advice for first time, sleep ponytailers just take your time. You
