Foreign I want to thank me. You already know how it is. As you can talk from the title, I am going to be trying a protective hairstyle on my head, like since my big job. This is the first time I'll be trying a protective, hairstyle and I'll be doing it myself at home. So, if you're new on my channel, I am adoni, I'm a lifestyle content creator based in Abuja, Nigeria and I share a tutorials that will help you save more and spend less. So today's video I'll be doing a yarn twist on my hair and I'm going to be using this Brazilian wool. So I have basically everything I'll be using with me on the table right here and I have a mirror right in front of me. So I have my big comb. I have my small comb. I have my Brazilian, so I have three three packs and this is actually a bit more than half, but I don't know if I would use everything I am going for, like a like a 12 inch style. 12. 12. 12. 14.. I have um, my other sticks. Yeah but I am not feeling elastic, I have my aircon air food or air creamer conditioner. I have my crochet pin here: I'm not going to be using gel on mine because, honestly, I'm trying to do the best for this hair, because you guys, if you've not seen the update on my natural hair Journey I'll, have a link in the description. So we are going to get straight into this video. I am starting at exactly what is the time now: yeah yeah away, games, yeah yeah, so go ahead to measure to measure my Brazilian wool. So I'm going to start with the half that I have I'm trying to make this process as enjoyable as possible, so that I don't get tired along the way. Actually, this is not the first time that I'll be making my air myself, but this is the first time I'll be making my hair myself I'll be making a protective esta on my big chart on Ara. So if you don't know, my hair actually has a name. My hair name, my air, is called ARA. Ara means wonder and arise you're about a Yoruba name, so my is called Wonder and that's actually what it has been doing like who is going to believe that this air is just six weeks old. Who is going to believe coming? Let me get scissors, so I went ahead to do the back part of the air or the back section of the air off camera and I'll, be showing you guys how I will be doing the front, and I basically just want you guys to watch closely and You will see what I do so after patting the air. I go ahead to braid it individually before I'm using my Brazilian wool to braid for, like one inch then twist it, and that is actually just to help you with a better grip. If you don't know how to twist from The Roots guys, I am telling you that this air, I could easily walk out of the house and go to the salon and get it made for my for me. But I saved myself a lot of money like making this myself at home, so I actually put up an Instagram poll asking on my story like a question tag asking on my story: how much this will cost people in their different state, and I also put it On my Instagram, I will share the answers that people shared with me on my Instagram and on my WhatsApp, for you guys, and you will know that making your hair yourself at home, literally, not even literally, to actually help you save more because Brothers, a stylists addresses They are not joking, this period like they will charge you, they will charge you and you don't have a choice, but to pay do you understand? So those are basically a few of the responses I got and I am using 20 strands for each of the yarn twists that I made on my hair, and that is because I want each of the yarn twists to have the same size. I don't want one. Looking bigger than the other, and you guys know the funniest part after making this air, you would see at the end of the video what it looks like I went out and on my way, coming back to the house, I stopped by the mall and the lady Said to me: oh, your hair is nice and I was like I made it myself and she looked at me like please stop lying. I already gave you a compliment, so I went there to show her like an unedited video of me, making my hair myself and she was like wow like she was. She was shocked. I could see it on her face that she was shocked and I was proud of myself, so I'm taking two strands to wrap the tip of the Brazilian wool, and that is just excuse me, and that is just to secure it so that it doesn't unravel. Because I don't have intention of using light or elastic or anything like the tip, you guys will see what what I'm saying later in the video. So that is basically it and let me tell you guys something this uh, while you're making it while you are twisting it it might be a bit painful, but once you just drop it, you forget the pain and you just move on to the next one. Like I am doing tickets, it's very very painless. It is very, very painless, and it is very, it is super lightweight compared to braiding, hair or extension or attachments whatever you might call it in your country, but is his super lightweight? I don't know if it's going to cut if it's going to cut my hair or if it's going to make my hair break but we'll see when I'm taking a dumbbell honestly. I think it won't because I didn't start the air the twist with the Brazilian wool. I'M starting the yarn twist with my hair, so I think I should I should have little to no breakage but I'll, probably film a tutorial to show you guys the process of taking it down. I don't know how long I'll take this air, so that's the last one guys I am so excited so we'll go to the last one together and it's basically just the same thing. Braid your hair separately then use your Brazilian wool to grip, the yantus, and this. This last one gave me a little bit of time, so use your hair to braid, because then I will a bit then twist twist and wrap the tip and for my pattern I think I did a good job because at least I'm able to Pat it the Way I want so basically that is it so after making everything. What I went ahead to do is to trim out the excesses on the body because of course we are not perfect. Even your a stylist, we have excesses on the body, so I went ahead to give myself a little dance, took my scissors and just trim out the tip and check make sure that they were all well tied together, because I don't want to be walking on the Road and have my air start unraveling I was so excited like I was so excited and I'll tell you guys at the end of the video how long it took me to finish everything - and this include me having my breakfast in between having my lunch in between Making calls and doing like a little bit of other things, so I went ahead to put it in hot water. I don't know where I got this courage from me: handling hot water, on my air by myself alone at home. It'S actually quite funny. So I realized that it wasn't getting to every part, so I wanted to dip my towel in hot water and just use it to press down the air so that it doesn't look puffy. You know um young Brazilian, who has this tendency of looking puffy, so the water is just to press it down and make it less puffy and don't worry. The water is going to dry out in no time it's going to drip out and dry out. In no time so that is basically what I went ahead to do make sure to enjoy the rest of the video. So tell me what's the time and also it helps me save a lot of money, because if I was going to maybe it's in the salon, I would make this nothing less than five thousand now I'll put a pull on my it's a story on my Instagram Story for people to guess how much this costs me at the salon, but we all know what to do myself. So thank you guys so much for watching this video. I absolutely can't keep my hands away from this and it's so cute, it's so nice! So that's it and I'll see you guys in my very next video. Please do not forget to subscribe. If you enjoyed this video and drop a comment on any style you want, you would want me to remake in the comment section and I'll see you in the next one bye,
