Zala Ponytail Review / Jessica York

Hey y'all money was Jessica and welcome back to my channel. So today I wanted to do something a little bit different than makeup. I got a new Zala, ponytail, hair extension and I'm so excited. I did open it and play with it one time, but I just wanted to see what it was like see how easy it was to apply, and then I want to share it with you guys and tell you what I love about this and show you how Easy it is to install, and if you want to channel your inner ariana grande like I did and get a pony, it's super easy to put in your hair. If so, I'm gon na show you how to do that. So, let's get started inside, you will find a bundle of confidence and a hint of glamour isn't that cute Dola, okay, so first things! First, when you get your box, it looks like this and you can open it up and inside you see this little pouch right here and this pouch comes with you, shampoo, a conditioner and a little revive me spray. It looks like so if you want to wash your ponytail, which it says on the back of the box, that you don't need to do that very often because you don't want to dull down the life of your ponytail. Also, it comes with a little book inside that shows you all of the hair extension colors, the different kinds of hair hair extensions that they have. They also have like regular hair extensions. They don't just have ponytails, but I wanted to try out the ponytail and they even have like ombre hair extensions, which is cool for people who have ombre hair kinda like me, as you can see, yeah, that's pretty neat. It just shows you all like before and afters and things like that, all kinds of stuff about the here. They have tape in clip-ins, halo, ponytails, all kinds of all kinds of extensions, and they also give you a lot of shampoo and conditioner and a little revive me spray, which i think is super cure. So, let's get into what you're here, for I got the ponytail. It comes in this awesome little sleeve like this. Of course mine is very long. I did get the 26 inch ponytail, so it is the longest ponytail that they offer because, like I said, I want to channel my inner ariana grande hello. Oh cute look and they even give you a little ponytail and a one bobby pin, which I think that you need more than one bobby pin cuz. This is a lot of hair. So let me show you this beautiful hair. Oh man, it's got a kink in it. Oh, I am so mad right now, I'm so mad right now. So this is not hair, real hair. This is synthetic hair, but you can use heat on it, just a very low like the lowest setting. If you wanted to straighten it or curl it or whatever, so this is my hair, it's this long, it's a big ponytail and okay. So the problem with my hair is it is like balayage or ombre or whatever so right now it's really grown out because I haven't had it done in a while, so the brown has just kind of grown out. So, even now, when I pull my own hair up, my bun or my ponytail is blonde, but my hair right here is brown. So that's the only like downside to this, but I mean it does match my actual hair color perfectly. It'S just that right now. My balayage is really grown out so, but I think whenever I do get it done again and it's brought up higher like it was when I first got it done it's gon na like match this perfectly. I will insert a picture so you can see what my hair is supposed to look like when is not growing out like crazy, like it is right now anyways, but I don't really mind like having like dark hair and then like a blonde, ponytail or bun or Whatever I don't really mind it, I kind of like the look, so I'm cool with it. I think I need to go turn on my straightener because look at this, where it was in the package where I put it in there, it left a giant been Dennis. I need to go turn on my straightener okay, so I just straightened over the ponytail. So now it doesn't really have a kink in it which kind of does, but I feel like that it'll just like fall out. I strained it on the lowest heat because I didn't want to mess it up or anything like that. So the first thing that I like to do is get my hair ready for the ponytail. So what I do is I want to do a nice tight, sleek ponytail. So what I like to do is I like to use a strong hold. Hairspray pull the hair up in a ponytail. Oh my god. It'S clogged up. I got ta, get that on. I get just spray hay everywhere in my eyes, okay, so the first thing I like to do is spray, like all the front of my hair, take a little brush. This is technically a teasing comb, but because it has these soft bristles, it does a really good job of pushing all the hair. Back. I like to kind of flip my head, make sure I get the back and then pull my hair up, and this is when we'll start brushing it like this, because we want to be a nice sleek ponytail. You want all that it'd be pretty smooth, pull it up, really tight your little baby, here's to be nice and tight flat to your head, so get it at the point wherever you want it, if you're doing a high pony, you want it to be pretty high On your head, because the extension is very long, so you don't have to worry about them not being long enough. It'S definitely gon na be long pull it up, make sure everything is nice and snatched back. Don'T forget the back of your hair. My hair is still kind of short, so so then the next thing I like to do is this little trick. I figured out the first time that I pulled this out and played with it if you just put the pony tail over one hair band like this. Just like stick it in like that, the pony tail is so much heavier than obviously my little bit of hair that I have right here. So it the pony tail kind of gets weighed down a little bit so to keep the height that I like. I come up about an inch and I put another hair band in there really tight and that's gon na help keep the height. When we put the extension, we put the extension in we look at the height, see what I mean. I heard that the reason that Arianna started doing this whole ponytail thing was because her hair was super damaged and it was just a like a protective style to not have to like do anything to her hair and then it kind of became what she was known For so, I think that's pretty cool I like didn't get this bump smooth, though so I'm just gon na put a pin in it right there cuz we're gon na come in sup, okay, so on the extension I brushed it out very gently with a big wide Toothed comb, so on the extension you will see, there is a clip right here right there so and then there is velcro right here. So all you're gon na do is make a little burrito around your hair, and so this is going to be like a circle. All around your ponytail, so the first thing you do is take this. Stick it right here in the front of where your ponytail holder is so just kind of push it in there and push it back towards where the base of your ponytail is and then you will just wrap it around and velcro it around your ponytail, which this Part, I kind of feel like it, helps because there's so much hair. If you kind of lean your head to the side, you can get that velcro, nice and tight around your ponytail. Okay, then that's what this little extra piece right here comes in handy for so that's what this little piece is for is to hide this little area right here. So that's when you can start wrapping it around. So I like to kind of hold this out of the way and then it's not a good secure. Let me try that again. So that's the thing with this is you can I just have to play with it and figure it out and let me just start over. It is easy, but I feel like I haven't really gotten used to it quite yet because, like I said, I've only played with it one time, one like the day that I got unprofessional the day that I got it. I only pulled it out and played with it like one time put it in Ward around for a few minutes, and so I feel like once I get the hang of exactly where I like it on my head I'll, be able to just pop it on pretty Quickly, but I am still learning this whole rap velcro situation, because you do want it to be tight, you know - and I mean like really secure, because the ponytail is so much heavier than what you're used to. Obviously, unless you just have like a long, beautiful hair, then you're so lucky girl, you're, so lucky, okay, we've got our little pebbles band in there so that it gives us the hike that we need. Let'S try this again so take the little clip. Put it right at the base and then wrap it around like a taco, oh yeah! This is a good one. I can tell ya so much better, oh yeah, so much better. That feels so much tighter. Okay. Now we can move on and I like to get the big points out of the way. Take this little piece, and this is where we are cut it so much here. This is where we wrap it around that base to disguise where we put our hair, and I always like to pull this really tight around it, because this is also what helps it to like stay secured around your hair and then you'll. Just pin that little end piece and because this little rap doo-dah is what is really holding everything nice and secure around that base. I like to put multiple bobby pins in there is to be secured. You know, especially if you want to whip it around like, of course I want what to do all the time and that is it and see how we still have the the lift at the top. That'S what I like, because if, if you don't put that second little hairband in there, it kind of wants to just like lay down, and you don't get that big high. You know snaps looking pony and always just brush these out really gently. What you're naturally gon na want to do is whip your hair around, of course, and then it gets a little tingly, so just gently brush it out from the bottom work your way up. Okay, so the color that I got is the sunkissed highlights. So this does match my um. You know my blond part of my hair that is now just a faded like mess, but it well in like a month or so when I get my hair dye, because I do need to go get my hair done very soon and it will match better. Once my hair gets like all touched up and everything, but I actually don't mind the dark roots with the blonde Pony. I don't mind it at all. I likey I like the color, I'm super happy with it. Also, if you pick a color like online and then you don't like that color and you get it, you know in the mail and you pull it out and it's not the right color for your hair, but will come with this little warranty seal tag around the Top of the hair, just don't take anything off of it like don't take this off, and you can always send it back and pick a different color, and also they have people that will help. You pick your color too, if you're, not sure of which one to get so you can always look into that on the website tube. If it's not your shade and you can get help picking your shade, if you are having a problem, so what I love about this hair, is it's not the thickest like hair extension, I've ever felt. It'S definitely the nicest that I personally have, because I don't have like a ton of hair extensions, but I do have some and I just. I think that this is a really good quality. That'S what at first right off the bat it's like wow. This is really good quality. It doesn't look fake to me it's not like too plasticky shiny, looking whatever and then it's just as thick on the bottom as it is on the top. That'S what I really like is that the bottom is just as thick. It doesn't get thinner as the ponytail goes, because this, like I said this is the 26 inch and it is very long for the price as well, because it's very affordable. It'S not super expensive, expensive, like a lot of extensions can be. We all know they can be very expensive, so I mean I just can't quit playing with that. I can't quit flipping my head around. I just cannot. I cannot stop you like my hair gee thanks just bought it. I just wanted to channel my inner ariana grande, who doesn't want a big luscious, beautiful ponytail, and you know. I don't think that this this long of a ponytail is the most natural look in the world like it's, not it's not, but I don't really care. I have shorter ones, of course, and they have regular extensions and all that kind of stuff, so yeah I just wanted to be very extra and have a big, delicious ponytail, so anyways and I feel like there's so many things you can do with this, like you. Could braid it and be all like Beyonce and braid it or you could do like a low down ponytail like down here at the bottom of your neck, and you could braid it off to the side. You could curl it and have a big curly ponytail. There'S just so many things you can do with the pony. Oh my god! Oh yeah, I really like it. I think it's super fun and the good thing is: is you don't really to do anything to your hair? You know what I mean, so you don't have to put any heat on your actual hair. You could literally just let your hair air-dry and then just put it up in a ponytail and guys it with beautiful, fake hair cuz. Can we ever grow? I here this long, I just don't think so. I just don't think so I mean I could it. My hair does not grow like at all. I mean if I saw someone wearing this and I walked by her. I would stop and be like. Excuse me. That is amazing. Where did you give it? Because I mean this, I need this don't at me. If you see me wearing it in other videos, because I might just be having a bad hair day, I might be trying not to use heat too much. I just can't like stop touching it and brushing it. It'S like such a weird habit. Now I see what blue eyed like perm and extensions like just constantly like touch their hair. I see it. I could see me doing that. That would be me. I would be that girl, that's what happened anyways, I ten out of ten recommend Zala hair because there are affordable but still good quality. So if you guys want to check them out you should I want to try that halo one. You know where it's like the clear band with the hair. You know, but not like an obnoxiously long length like that's. What I would do is get like kind of noxious ly long length. No, but like just something to give me like a little bit of length. Maybe in like a balayage color, I think that would be cool did I have that. I hope they do like these before and afters are great. They have so many shades as well. Yeah balayage tape, pins halos weave in girl. They got it, they got you so yeah. I just wanted to show you guys. My new hair tell me what you think. Just tell me just tell me: am i ariana grande yet you like my hair, okay, thanks just body and if you get cold then you can just like you know I Dream of Jeannie vibes right now, yeah. So if you get cold, you can just need these little kinks to like fall out of it, because when I first got it, it had like a small kink like nothing like what I did to it. When I put it back in the sleeve and then the power and it fell out after our ward around the house - for like a few minutes, it was nice and straight, but I tried to straighten it out. I mean I love when I see Ariana's big Giants. They know this girl, she has big giant ponytails like that's. This is nowhere near as thick, but I feel like you should get the same effects. You know see it's not quite as thick as hers. Obviously, because I think hers are like number one she's rich number. Two, I think her hairdresser, like makes them, makes her ponytails with like just strips of hair, like you cannot even see how long this is. This is how long this is, god I wish that kink would get out of it. It'S ruining my life so yeah. This is like: how long is this like no joke? This is how long I can't even get the whole thing in the frame. This is how long this ponytail is like what and if you want to be like a poop emoji, then all you have to do is just wrap it around your head and then you're the poop emoji. You know - oh my god, I just that was a mistake. That was a mistake. I'M sorry! I just get crazy when this goes in my hair, I just get crazy. My husband's like great awesome, yeah you you get crazy when your hair's in so I'm just going to brush this out. I'M gon na switch the views really quick, so you can get like a full body view and not such like an up-close view. So I'm gon na switch views really quick, so you can see the full hair and full body action. Let'S go so yeah guys. This is the hair, it's a full body, so you can kind of gain some perspective of actually how long this hair actually is. Is it ridiculous, I don't know, is it amazing yeah, but I love how we still have the height at the top right here like it's, not weighing it down like if you would have seen what it looked like when I first did it and just put one Ponytail holder in and it just wanted to like, weigh it down, and I wanted to keep the height. You know that, like my natural ponytail would do and not be weighed down by the weight of this I mean honestly, it's not even that heavy to me. It'S not heavy but um, but just with one ponytail holder, I feel like it's not enough to keep the height if you want the height like that, so yeah so yeah guys. That is my final review on these Zala hair extensions. For my second time playing with them, I really like them so much. I definitely recommend them to you guys if you want to check out some really affordable but good quality hair extensions. You should check them out. They have tons of hair to choose from different links. Different colors, all that kind of stuff, so yeah and it's super fun to play with guys. If you want to spice up your look one night and change it up, do something a little different or just wear this on a Monday like me and that's fine, you can do that. I feel like it's pretty easy to put it in. I think that you would just kind of have to get used to it, just because you wanted to be really secure, so just playing with a little with it a little bit whenever you first get it will make it to where, like later on, you can just Throw it in wrap it in no problem really quickly. I can't stop playing with it, though you know it's just like a cat. You just want to keep petting it so soft anyway. Okay, stop it yeah. I think that's what really sold me on the Zala hair pony tail specifically hair extension was that you just slide that clip in and then just wrap it around your entire Pony and then just wrap that little thing got a little extra piece. That'S on the side, wrap it around, pin it down and that's it like. There'S no clipping it. You know what I mean like it just velcro's around your ponytail and it feels very, very secure so like this, it's not going anywhere. So, yes, I think just getting comfortable with that part like there what's so hard about the wrapping it around part. It'S only that there's just so much hair. Do you know what I mean like you're, trying not to get the hair in the velcro? Well, you're wrapping it. You want to make sure it's tight and secure and all that cuts up, but I think that if you just play with it, then you'll have it down like the second time I did, it was so much easier than the first time. I was like I think, y'all was thinking about it too much. You know what I mean like it's got to be tight. I hope that you guys enjoyed this little zahla ponytail review.
