Hello, you, like my hair gee thanks just bought it hello everyone. So, as you might have guessed from my little intro today, i'm going to be demoing reviewing and doing a couple little tutorials on some amazing ponytail extensions. I'M excited! Are you excited because i'm really excited you're new here hello and welcome? My name is jessica of the blog, miss moore style and here on youtube. I make videos about affordable fashion, beauty, lifestyle and travel. So if you love to look chic but on a budget, you have to live your best life, but on a budget, then you definitely want to go ahead and hit the red subscribe button down below and make sure while you're down there, that you also dig the Notification bell and that way, every time i upload a new video, you will be the first to know. I just want to start this video off by saying i have plenty of my own very thick, pretty long hair and for so long i've been so perplexed because i'll see people like ariana grande j.lo, the kardashians. All these people, with like the most luscious long, amazing ponytails, and i'm thinking to myself. Why do i not have a ponytail like that, like expectations versus reality, man, the secret, is these celebrities are most likely using a ponytail extension. I was contacted by inh hair, which is stands for insert name here. It is a hair extension company, that's based out of los angeles, so they're local. For me, they make ponytail extensions as well as regular hair extensions. They make really fun wigs and they have like heat styling tools. They just have like a whole bunch of really fun stuff to help you style your hair and have like a fabulous hair day, no matter what they offer to send me some ponytails in exchange for doing a youtube video, so just wanted to get that out here. They did send these to me. However, this video is not sponsored in any way, so you guys know. I will definitely as always, give you my very unfiltered thoughts and opinions. I also will have a promo code down in the description box for you, so you can save some money on your hair extension purchase along with these ponytails as i review them. I'M also going to be doing a couple little ponytail tutorials for different styles that are inspired by um celebrities, ponytails, so without further ado, let's get into it. So here are the three ponytails that i got. They come in these little um resealable storage bags, which is a great thing to keep them in good condition when you're, not using them. I do have to say, insert or inh has really good prices for their ponytail extensions. I'Ve seen some online for like around two hundred dollars, but these all range around fifty dollars give or take. So that is, in my opinion, a really fair price to pay for something that is going to take your hair game from like eh to you know what i'm saying details that i'm going to review from them are all synthetic fibers from japan. They do make some ponytails with uh human hair, but the ones that i got are synthetic and they are really impressive, like the synthetic fibers, whatever it is, it's vegan, but it really like mimics the look and feel and the like movement of real hair. I'M telling you guys it's so good, you can heat style these extensions, but only up to 320 degrees. So if you get one and you want to like tweak it a little bit, you can definitely do that. Just keep it on a low low setting and also just keep in mind that once you straighten one, if it has like a sort of wave or a curl to it, it will never regain that texture again. So just keep that in mind. You can also wash these if you need to so i feel like they recommend that you do that kind of sparingly. You do need to. They say you can use a gentle, wig shampoo and then allow them to air dry. So these ponytails all come in like tons of different colors. So the first thing that i will say is to make sure that you get the right color for you. I say that because i know from experience because i made the mistake of wanting or thinking that i should match the ponytail to my roots. But if you guys see, i have like some very much like lighter brown and some highlights going on on the ends of my hair. So it's quite a difference from the root to the ends, and so this first ponytail i'm going to show you is the jordan and i got it in the dark brown color. So what i didn't realize silly me is they come with up here, a little sample of the hair, as you can see that, like basically, is the same thing as my roots, but if you take it down here to my ends extremely different, so the issue with That is is once your hair is in a ponytail. The ponytail and your ponytail are going to really be way too contrasted, and it's not going to look natural right here on the bag. It has a little sticker. That says, if you open me, i'm yours forever. It had like a little zip tie thing that was like holding it shut, so you really need to have that little sample to match with your hair before you open it, because once you open it, you can't return it. I'M stuck with this one, but i managed to not open the other two. I sent the other these two back, that i had in dark brown and sent them back for the mixed brown. So you'll see the difference when we mess with those, but i'm going to take jordan out, i feel like, even though she is a bit too dark for my hair for my ends. I think i can still make her work and then someday. If i decide to like go a lot darker and get rid of my highlights, this will be a great one. To have jordan is such a good ponytail for like every day i love the like tousled layered curls. She has a mid-length pony at 18 inches long and comes in at 110 grams of hair this one, because my hair is straight. I should have curled it before putting it in, but because i'm gon na do a little trick to like totally hide my ends. I'M just leaving it straight so you'll see, but for this ponytail, i'm just gon na keep it pretty simple. The other two i'm gon na show you are gon na be more sleek. Celebrity inspired got my favorite ever hair ties. These are from goodie. I love them because they don't have any metal, so they don't hurt your hair and also i have really really thick heavy hair. So when i usually put my hair in a ponytail, if i want it to stay up and tight, i have to use two ponytail holders normally, because one just does not cut it for me, but this thing holy crap. It will hold your hair up, it is, they are so good, and this is like years old at this point and they still work so well. I can't say enough good things: i'm just going to go ahead and throw my hair up into a higher ponytail. Jordan. Would be really pretty for a low ponytail as well like a more soft romantic look, but because of how my blonde hits in my hair, i feel like. I want to make it a little bit higher. I wanted to just bring it like right up toward that part of my head like following, like my eyes and going up, i feel like that. Finding that place on your head is such a flattering place to put a ponytail, bring my bangs down. I feel like my hair just does not want to cooperate today, just want to keep it as tight and close to my scalp as possible once your own hair is in the ponytail you're gon na. Take it and braid it nice and tight, because the idea is to make your own ponytail as small and compact as possible, getting a very, very thin little elastic to secure it. My little pony is take your ponytail or your braided ponytail tuck it under like that, and then we're going to take another very small elastic and we're going to wrap that around oh unless it breaks. Let'S try this again my little ponytail alrighty. It'S time to install jordan, all these ponytails are like so they've got this little velcro situation and you unvelcro it. You have to be very careful because you want to try to keep the ponytail hair from getting into the little velcro strap thing. Have this little lace piece right here and then a little clip comb thingy on the top, and what you're going to do is you're, going to take this little comb and bring the ponytail over the top of your hair. Let me see if i can get a little closer, so you're going to bring your ponytail you're going to take this and you're going to go straight up and under your elastic. What'S on we're going to take this, which is the velcro tie, you're going to make sure that this side, this little side is sort of like tucked, underneath your ponytail as well, and what i like to do, it's easier is to like sort of lean your head Back and grab the hair and then pass the little side underneath and really velcro that thing down now. The ponytail is on this little extra hair that they give you to basically use to wrap around the base. About two times is what you need bobby pins, that it comes with, are incredible, take both bobby pins and secure the back on both sides, and it really grips it so well, the jordan show you what it looks like from the back. I feel like my ponytail is showing this one does not quite work for me just with my hair, the color that it is currently i have to save this one for when i go back to being like really really dark brown, but the next two definitely match My hair much better and i'm going to show you some really sleek polished ponytails that are inspired by celebrities, starting with bella hadid. The next ponytail that i'm going to show you and incorporate into my bella. Hadid inspired pony is the lola, and this ponytail is 175 grams of hair. It is a mid-length. Ponytail has sort of like a gentle swoop at the end and as you can see, it is just gorgeous. It'S got that nice little flip. On the end, it is a thick amount of hair. That'S what i really like about this one is, i feel like it's a lot of hair you're. Also going to need for this pony is styling gel i'm using this one from got to be ultra glued. A comb, preferably one that has a nice long end like this, a toothbrush, a regular brush, um and then one of these sort of like i don't even know how to describe this brush. But it's basically got like some longer bristles, but like shorter bristles where's. That brush, maybe sorry for not knowing the hair brush at lingo. I want some hairspray. This is like the only hairspray that i have around right. Now it's a flexible hold, which hopefully does the job they're going to use this hair and body shine mist at the end. It'S too blown out, so you can't really see it, but just to give the hairstyle a little extra shine. We'Re gon na do the side part first to take your comb. I'M gon na part it on this side of my head and my little curtain. Bangs are gon na, be really mad that i'm making them go to that side of my head in your comb. You just want to take it right about maybe like an inch and a half back and section off that front section. You can see these two sections, i'm gon na clip this off. Keep it separated right. I'M gon na take the rest of our hair and put it back into a ponytail. This is where you wan na start, making that very, very sleek ponytail. It takes a little bit of work to get into there. Sometimes it helps to flip your head upside down. This is about where i want it to be again. I want it to do like that. I want to be at that point. That'S like right at the crown of my head, so pretty high, but not as high as the next one we're gon na. Do. I'M not gon na lie. It'S really hard to see what i'm doing with my hair. In my face like this, taking this brush and trying to smooth everything out, this is second day hair, so i feel like it definitely helps when your hair has got a little bit of grease in it a little. It'S not completely clean, helps to get that smoother. Sleek look: this brush is really handy because it really helps to like smooth all the hair out, get everything all together, because a bigger, bristled brush would sort of like separate the sections of your hair, and that's just looking really nice and smooth i'm gon na. Take my trusty ponytail make this as tight tight as possible. Got the ponytail up now, we've got to deal with this hair. Take your brush. We are going to smooth the hair back and you want it to go right behind your ear like so i might have made a mistake and gotten too long of a piece of hair in this section, but it is what it is once you've got it back. There take some really good, strong, bobby pins, secure your hair in place nice and tight if you criss-cross the bobby pins that helps them to have more even more stability. If you have annoying curtain bangs like me, that aren't the one side's not quite long enough to go all the way back behind your head, you, unfortunately, are gon na have to use some bobby pins uh to secure everything down. But now we've got everything good to go. I'M gon na start going in with my styling gel and my toothbrush, and this is such a great little trick to sort of get everything. Nice and sleek, especially like right here, i feel like my hair - is like really misbehaving on this side. Lay down the little baby hairs. It'S good to just have like a toothbrush around, for this express purpose also helps to give your hair a bit of shine, which i find is like really pretty, for these types of looks it's time to put the ponytail in same idea as the other ones. You really want to wrap it as tightly as you can. This little wrap part really i find helps to like make it all feel really secure and voila. Isn'T that so freaking cute? Oh, i love this one i feel like so like i don't know just like sassy and cute ponytail y'all. I love it. It'S not super long but like. Let me just show you the back, but it's just so cute. You can bring it forward. It can sit like so. Oh my god, this is beyond cute and i love it. I think these ponytails they're great, because not only did they add like length to your hair, but, like let's say you just wanted, like your hair to be like thicker in your ponytail. This one gives so much thickness and i feel, like my actual hair blends into it, so well like. I feel, like it's really hard to tell where my hair is and the ponytail is so for this one i don't feel like. I have to do anything to sort of conceal my own ponytail underneath there, but, oh my god, i love it so cute. It'S very sleek. I feel like this. One is very like sophisticated and it looks great with this sort of slicked back sleek style, all right. That is the lola. Now, let's go on to the print so finishing this up with an ariana grande inspired ponytail. She is like the ultimate girl of the ponytail. I think we can all agree, i'm going to use the brit ponytail. This is also a mixed brown. This is a very long ponytail, it's 26 inches long and it's 175 grams of hair. That is how long the brit is. She is luscious and long for this one, i'm going to do a really high slicked back ponytail, so i just had to like kind of like comb through the gel from that last one, but this one we are going all in on the slick back super high Up on the head, so i'm going to take a little bit more of this gel i'm going to get it into my hands and just bring it through my roots to try to get everything, nice and saturated or a little slicked back now. The easiest thing to get a really high ponytail is to flip your head upside down. So i'm gon na do that. Okay, so we're we're getting there. Take this brush to start smoothing everything out. I have so many little baby hairs right now about as high as i feel like. I can get it here is my ponytail before you can see it's. You know pretty short, so a trick that you can do for like a super high ponytail is to once you get your ponytail in place. Take another hair tie and put it around the ponytail like right above it see how it gives it like a little bit more height, you know, makes it go back, go back with the gel and just smooth out my hair. Before i put, the ponytail in my hair is going to be so crunchy after this brush it back this one, because it's not quite as thick as the other one earlier i recommended braiding your ponytail, but i feel like the braid would show so one thing that I'Ve done or found is to take one of these little elastics and just put it around your ponytail to sort of make your whole ponytail a little bit more compact. Instead of sticking this clip underneath the first rubber band, i'm going to stick it up underneath the second one, and so to do that, i'm just going to lean my head back, because i find that makes it a little bit easier. You can see. Here'S the first hair band here it is underneath my second one we're just going to take this hair and i'm going to wrap it down lower that way. It covers that ponytail and the ponytail is on i'm gon na have to scoop back to show you guys. This because it is so long but wow like that's just like a statement right there like having this really long gorgeous ponytail. Here it's a little it's a little frazzled, i mean hello. You, like my hair gee thanks, just bought it, i'm just like in love with it. I think it's so pretty and, like honestly, you could never have a ponytail like this in real life. Even if you had hair down to your feet, you'd have to have the most insanely amazing, thick hair, like all the way down to even be able to have a ponytail. That would look like this, so hello, so glad to have discovered this like hack in my life. But it is just amazing - and i feel like for sure, with this one, you kind of have to wear the ponytail either to one side or the other or behind you. You can't like split it and separate it because then you're exposing your little ponytail in the back, so for this one you just have to kind of wear everything all in one but i'll spin around. So you guys can see here is the back and what it looks like. I will say this: one is a little heavy. So if your head, if you like, have a sensitive head, do keep that in mind, because this one, i don't know something about it. It'S the same amount of grams of weight as the uh, the lola, but i think because it's longer it kind of feels like a little bit more like it's pulling. But oh my god. This is absolutely incredible, and it doesn't quite like fully match my hair up here right now, because i feel, like i haven't gone to my hair stylist in a while to get more uh blonde. Put back in so like the dark portion of my hair is kind of grown a little bit longer than it would normally be. But i think, if, when i go back to my girl that have my hair colored, if she pulls the warmer like lighter colors, farther up my hair, that will solve this problem. But honestly, i don't think it's the end of the world, because a lot of people have ombre hair anyway, so sometimes your ponytail does look a little bit different from the roots of your hair. If that makes sense, i freaking love it like hello, ariana grande vibes, all the way. What do you guys think? Would you rock one of these? I mean i'm in love with it like seriously in love with it comment down below.
